Skill Maker in a Game Like World-Chapter 108: Problem
As Enzo had expected, the journey to the dragon was indeed a long one.
It was much farther than reaching the bottom of the volcano's crater.
However, this journey in the lava was easier because the lava was not heavy at all.
It was pure ordinary lava with no other materials mixed in. It just has an unimaginable heat that can turn it into ashes directly.
Surprisingly, there was no pressure at all from the dragon.
Even though it was already a corpse, considering its size, even if it should have been a corpse, it still posed a threat in the form of pressure.
"Mm..."
As Enzo made a careful observation, he suddenly realized one other thing.
The dragon seemed to have no flesh inside its body, perhaps not even a skeleton, only its skin still survived.
Its skin was as hard as the hardest scales. Even if its flesh and bones were taken away, it wouldn't crumble like other monsters' skin.
Its Life Core had obviously also been taken, but even its skin, Enzo couldn't predict its value.
'Someone seems to have killed this dragon. And maybe that person is the one who set up the mechanism that Awakener above Master Rank can't come here,' he thought.
Such a large dragon could be killed, he couldn't imagine how strong that person was.
'However, there must be a reason that person forbade Awakener above Master Rank from entering. Did he leave something behind?' he wondered.
After a while, they became closer and closer to the dragon.
Now, all they could see was the head.
It wasn't even long before they could only see its nose.
Lancelot headed towards the dragon's nostrils before landing there.
The skin was indeed treadable and Enzo felt like he was stepping on the hardest steel.
Even when he tried to stomp his foot against the dragon's skin, it didn't shake at all.
Perhaps if he used the largest sized Sky Pillar to hit it, he still wouldn't be able to vibrate this dragon's skin.
Its level was too far above his.
"Great, I didn't think I could actually get here," said Lancelot as he tapped the dragon's nose.
"Are you going in?" Della asked Lancelot.
"Going in? I'll transfer it to my Dimensional Artifact and we'll get out of here. I'll explore it myself later. We just need to figure out how to survive on the way back because we'll have to face the monsters in the red water itself. That's where you should fight, I'm paying you for it," Lancelot replied.
After he said that, he took out a different-looking ring, completely made of diamonds that were black in color.
And suddenly, it released a black hole from its center.
Enzo was quickly amazed as the enormous dragon corpse was sucked in by the black hole at a ridiculous speed.
It didn't seem to be just a Dimensional Artifact, at least its level was very far above.
'What? Impossible!'
Enzo's expression suddenly turned strange.
He had actually spontaneously tried to activate Mimic Exchange onto the diamond ring. It was just a small preparation he made in case he suddenly wanted to steal it.
Only, unexpectedly, his Primordial Energy was rejected by the diamond ring.
It bounced back to him.
The diamond ring seemed to be too powerful for his Primordial Energy.
In other words, it was something that he could not influence before its power increased further.
Even he wouldn't be able to control it unless he relied on the wind to pull it.
To his even greater surprise, Lancelot suddenly looked at him with sharp eyes.
"Boy, what are you doing?" He shouted at him loudly, startling Rebecca and Della.
He didn't just yell, his expression also became very gloomy, indicating that he was very angry.
Enzo subconsciously opened his mouth, not expecting him to realize his actions.
He was indeed not to be underestimated.
"I'm just curious about the ring," he said in response.
"Cough!" Rebecca involuntarily coughed at that, glancing at him with an unhappy look.
She had already been robbed by him. That he dared to do that to her she could still understand because her background was only from a wealthy family.
Lancelot was different. His father was one of the most feared figures in the United States.
Robbing him was not something that could be considered easy.
Lancelot's eyes were still looking at Enzo very coldly.
Anyone could not rest easy with his answer.
However, Lancelot might as well not dare to do anything now considering Enzo's ability was needed for him to return to the top.
Without his help, he would be trapped inside this lava forever, either dying or returning to earth without being able to return to the Primordial World.
Of course, no one could say what he would do after arriving at the top.
The atmosphere was tense now.
Not long after, the Dragon's entire body finally entered into the diamond ring.
There was no longer any figure of the dragon and the area where it had been was instantly filled with lava.
Here, there was really no room to avoid the lava except relying on Enzo's ability.
And who knew if Enzo was willing to take Lancelot back up now that it was clear that he would likely do something to him when they got there.
"Uhmm, uhmm, guys, we should forget about any bad emotions for now," Della said while clearing her throat lightly.
She was trying to make things calm down.
Unfortunately, it wasn't going to be as easy as she thought.
"Boy, take us back up," Lancelot said to Enzo.
How could he possibly control his emotions.
He could refrain from taking action, but there was no way he could speak calmly to him.
On the other hand, Enzo still looked calm.
"Sure!" He nodded casually while splitting the lava upwards.
The journey back took some time and he was still able to think of what he should do.
This time, he had Rebecca beside him.
She was still pouting at him and when he looked at her, she said, "Enzo, I bet someday, you'll die from your own greed!"
Her voice was so low and constrained by energy that Lancelot and Della could not hear anything.
Enzo chuckled softly then asked, "do you have any advice for me?"
"My advice is not to do anything. Just keep following his words. As long as she doesn't get any angrier, I'm sure you can still move on with your life. You know, sometimes hatred can disappear when someone is too happy about something. Once we get back, I'm sure he'll just focus on the dragon," Rebecca replied.
"I don't believe him. Even if that's true, doesn't that mean I won't get anything?" Enzo replied, instantly making Rebecca glare at him.
"What about that black skull? Did you get any benefits from it? It's probably worth the same as the dragon. Try to focus on that first. You don't need to think about anything else," Rebecca replied.
Updated from freewёbnoνel.com.
"Although I haven't discovered the secret of the skull yet, it wouldn't hurt to have something else priceless. After all, who wouldn't want to own two mountains of gold."
Rebecca, "..."
"You asked me for advice, but you rejected it yourself. You shouldn't have asked for anything," said the woman very sullenly.
"Come on, it's not like I wasn't serious when I asked for advice. I just think differently from you," Enzo replied.
"Hmm, considering what you've done to me, it's good enough that I didn't tell Lancelot all your evil desires for him," Rebecca replied.
"But he's so annoying, I don't want to see him grow stronger," Enzo said.
"Uhmm, it's better if he just dies," he added.
"I'm afraid you can't kill him... Even in this lava, he's likely to be able to enter his portal since he must have some protection that can shield him for at least a while."
"I'm not without tricks," Enzo replied.
He thought about his gravity skill.
It might be able to stop Lancelot.
"If he dies, won't your life be quiet afterward?" He chuckled to Rebecca as she was worried about being chased by Lancelot who was clearly interested in her.
She even had to ask for his help so that later they would look like a couple to make Lancelot retreat.
Rebecca finally looked helpless.
She looked like she wanted to shake her head but didn't.
"Think again if you can live off his father's anger," she said.
Who knows what happened to her. She couldn't seem to stop advising him.
This made him feel strange, thinking she was really worried about him.
"Even though I think about it, I'm not willing to lose the dragon," Enzo replied in a quiet voice.
Rebecca certainly wasn't surprised by his answer.
She sighed helplessly, realizing that she really couldn't be stopped.
"I guess I wouldn't mind dating you if you can survive the trouble you've gotten yourself into," she said.
Who knows why she said that.
Maybe she wanted to give him motivation so that he could survive after robbing and killing Lancelot.
Her expression did look like she was very serious and honest when she said that.
This exceeded Enzo's expectations and he chuckled quite loudly, heard by Lancelot and Della who were in front of them.
Both of them spontaneously looked at them.
