The laser fire from the human's side was immediate but futile. Isaiah watched with a grin as it bounced off of his comrades' shields. The human's were at least smart enough to make a tactical plan and he would give them that. But they were clearly not smart enough to avoid his cleverly planned trap. The Sima were annoyed that he let their comrades die, but they were only so useful before he got annoyed and popped them like a bubble.

The human's had people firing behind cover and behind shield's similar to his comrades. But they were made out of some fragile material that would no doubt melt under plasma fire. He looked around before nodding.

"Ola, fire through the shield." He ordered as he surveyed the scene. He looked at the human's outfits and which of them were shouting out orders. These were not like the human soldiers outside who wore that strong armor. Their armor was far weaker and it had far more in the way of regalia that indicated a command position. So it did not take him long to find the two commanders of this group of humans.

"Longshots," he pointed to the two human commanders. "Those are your targets." He watched as they stepped forward and pushed the muzzles of their weapons through the shields while the Ola slowly melted through the enemies defense.

BURSH!

It was only a moment before the subordinate to his right had a big problem. His longshot exploded. The shrapnel dinged off of Isaiah's armor not even triggering his personal shield. But the problem was the plasma cartridge.

It covered one of the Tacole Marksman's arms and melted through his personal shield like it was nothing and covered several Ola, killing them. This would get that one out of the battle.

The explosion also shot a piece of shrapnel forward, hitting the power pack that was on the back of the Tacole Shield Bearer's back. It shorted out and the shield dropped. A barrage of human laser fire began annihilating his Ola.

What happened might have escaped his subordinates' notice. But Isaiah had been keeping an eye on the back line of humans. He saw the armor like the soldier's outside. But what really caught his attention was the handle sticking out from the back of the soldier.

He grinned madly. "Be careful of human trickery! I am going to push through them." He then sauntered past his subordinates clicking a button on the device he had the Sima make for him. He kept it on standby before putting it away.

The humans began focusing on him as he marched forward but with a flick of the shoulder the hammer was put forward and the laser fire warped and disappeared as the ground creaked. He swung the hammer to the side as the human's stood stunned at what they were seeing.

"What the hell is that?" "That should not be possible!" "What the hell do we do about that?" The human's began yelling. The device he had the Sima make was translating for him. It would also translate his words into the human language if he spoke.

But Isaiah did not have a reason too as the frozen laser fire suddenly began moving again and slammed into a wall like he had redirected it there. He stomped up to the closest shield bearer and slammed his hammer into him.

It was like hitting the air. But with a moment of resistance before he continued his swing. The shield bearer flew through the air and slammed into a wall, painting it in human blood and guts. Isiah's head flinched slightly as something dinged off his helmet.

He growled but ignored it for the moment as he swung the other way. It sent another human flying. He then brought his hammer around and slammed it down onto one of them. There was a meaty crunch as the human turned into a puddle of blood.

But as he went to sweep an entire group of humans with his hammer. Another larger human with a shield stepped forward. As his hammer hit the shield he lost control as his swing was redirected. Isaiah blinked in surprise as he lost his footing, overstepping exposing his side.

The human pulled out a metal stick in his other hand and electricity sparked across it. He swung forward, hitting Isiah in the side. He felt and saw his personal shield flicker on and off for a moment upon contact. Not even a moment afterwards another ding as something bounced off his helmet.

That human he saw out of the corner of his eye was incredibly dangerous. He should not let his guard down around him. But he should not ignore the rest of these human's there was a reason they are worthy of the Victorium's attention. If only his father was not a puppet of the Sima. He might feel some honor or thrill in fighting these humans. But for now he would just have to enjoy the challenge presented before him.

"Bring your best against me humans! I wish for glory if nothing else!" Isaiah slammed his foot down and brought his hamer from below this time. Smacking the shield into the air and out of his hands. Then he brought up his leg and kicked the human across the room. He saw the human puke up blood as he flew.

Then he switched to a new opponent. Hitting him with the butt of his hammer. There was a loud metal ringing as his hammer made contact with not the shield of the human he targeted but instead a sword. One that he had only seen wielded by the High Priestess' Imperial Guards. He had seen only a few weapons that were their equivalent. Fortunately he was wielding one such weapon himself.

He smiled, "the human that matched strength with Nila the Imperius. Finally the only reason I came here was to face you in combat. So fight me so I might learn your name!" Isaiah swung his hammer smashing the ground where the human stood moments ago.

The human backed up firing from his weapon as he spoke, "leave this one to me. Focus on the others." He spoke as he backed up to an area of the bridge where there were no other humans. Making it a prime location to fight without restraint and worry for either of their comrades.

Isaiah charged toward the armored human roaring a command as he went. "Deal with the rest of the humans, this one is my opponent! Do not interfere!" As he got excited he could feel the world slow down around him. His grip tightened on his hammer as his muscles twitched in excitement and he grinned like a mad man.

As he swung horizontally the human moved quickly. So quickly he could barely follow his movements. The human side steeped Isaiah's strike and tried to slash at the handle of his hammer and his hands. But Isaiah twisted the handle and gravity around him changed again. Pushing the human away.

He then disabled the gravity bubble and swung his hammer again this time going for a diagonal strike. The human hit the hammer with his sword pushing both the human and Isaiah back a bit. Isaiah grinned as he backed up and positioned himself in a defensive stance as his hammer's energy recharged.

The human took a moment in his defensive stance before he switched to offense. He dashed forward aiming low. Isaiah jumped up and slammed the butt of his hammer into the ground throwing himself in the air. As the human passed below him he swung down, catching the human in the side sending him flying into one of the consoles.

Isaiah landed on the ground and took another defensive stance already planning the next bout. He would win with his next attack but before then he had to survive another attack because his hammer still needed to recharge.

The human staggered as he stood up using the sword to help him stand. He grunted as he suddenly dashed forward going for a vertical attack. Instead of dodging this time Isaiah headbutted the sword. Causing it to bounce off his personal shield. His shield broke temporarily but the human was off balance. So he brought his leg up and kicked the human but as his foot made contact with the human's chest he felt pain shoot up through his entire body while he saw arcs of blue coming from the human body.

Isaiah grunted in surprise as he took a step back his entire leg had gone numb for a moment but now he had a stinging pain throughout it. The human flew back further this time, going across the room bringing his sword down and carving into the ground to slow himself down. He stopped among a number of corpses of both human and Victorium but he ignored them as he dashed forward again.

Isaiah grunted in surprise for a moment before he got in position getting ready to attack the human. He grinned madly and he felt his blood boiling in excitement.

The human had arcs of blue lightning shooting off him. Scorching floors, bodies, and anything else nearby as he ran. He pulled out his other weapon and fired several times as he approached. The first bullet triggered Isaiah's personal shield that had regenerated. The second one destroyed his shield, shattering it again. This time Isaiah felt the device overheat.

Isaiah raised his first and blocked a shot going for his head. But he remained unflinching as the next five hit in places in between his armor plating. But the clicking of the human's gun was indicative of it being empty.

Isaiah flinched but ignored the pain coming from his joints. For the first time in his life he was happy his race had a nervous system running throughout their muscles. It meant he could still move his body if his joints were destroyed. But the human did not know that.

Which is why he faltered for a moment, faking losing control of his limbs. The human took that faked moment of weakness and dashed forward his lightning arcing off his sword. But as soon as the human was at the point of no return Isaiah acted.

He adjusted his stance, powered up his hammer and swung as hard as he could. The human seemed to realize at the last moment but he was too late.

CRUNCH!

There was an audible cracking as the human's armor fell apart under his strike. His sword arm became twisted in the wrong way. He flew through the air like a projectile and slammed into the wall opposite their location. Kicking up dust and debris. "Damn, I forgot to ask his name."
