Stellar Train: I Open a Small Shop on the Train-Chapter 112
Chapter 112 - 112
Asta chimed in from the side.
"Yes, Ye Yun's little shop really is that magical."
Herta nudged the dummy fiddling with a soda can next to her.
"This Dummy No. 1 was bought from Ye Yun's place. Screwllum, weren't you curious about Dummy No. 1 before? You can buy one for yourself next time."
Screwllum pondered for a moment.
"Logic: Law of Conservation of Energy. To gain something, one must lose something. What is the price?"
Herta took out a 100-denomination star coin.
"This is the currency used in Ye Yun's shop. It's called a Star Coin, and you can exchange it with Stellar Jade."
Ruan Mei examined the Star Coin in Herta's hand. Stellar Jade? No wonder Herta had been making such a big deal out of collecting it earlier—so that's the reason.
At that moment, the teleportation gate behind Herta flashed, and Lumine ran out from it.
"Yo, Asta, you're still up?"
Lumine greeted Asta, then turned to look at the others.
"Who are these people?"
Herta crossed her arms and looked at Lumine like she was an idiot.
"Don't recognize me?"
Lumine looked Herta up and down.
"You're Herta? Is this your real body?"
Herta nodded slightly.
"That's right. What brings you to the space station?"
Lumine replied, "I'm here to pick up a delivery—I bought something from Topaz."
She then looked toward Ruan Mei and Screwllum.
"I'm Lumine, a traveler. And these two friends are?"
Screwllum replied, "Nice to meet you, Miss Lumine. I am Screwllum, and this is Miss Ruan Mei. We're members of the Genius Society."
Lumine let out an exaggerated "Oh!"
"Genius Society? What kind of name is that? Sounds super chuunibyou."
Herta shrugged. "That name was all Zandark's idea. Anyway, go get your package. Asta, show her the way."
Asta smiled and said, "Lumine, come on. I'll take you to your delivery."
Lumine was grateful. "That's great. This is my first time here, so having you lead the way is super helpful."
Then, Lumine followed Asta toward the delivery area at the platform scenic zone.
On the way, Lumine was stunned by the high-tech environment. No doubt—it was a space station!
In the lab.
Screwllum and Ruan Mei exchanged puzzled glances directed at Herta.
Ruan Mei asked meaningfully, "This Lumine..."
Herta gave a subtle nod. "She's from another world. It's normal she hasn't heard of the Genius Society."
Ruan Mei nodded—just as she suspected.
After all, being able to reach Herta's space station meant Lumine couldn't be from some backward civilization cut off from news.
Ruan Mei then recalled what Asta had once said while they were eating hotpot together—there were many visitors from other worlds in Ye Yun's shop.
Screwllum was surprised. "Visitors from other worlds?"
Ruan Mei explained, "Asta told me before. That magical little shop has many visitors from different worlds."
After hearing this, Screwllum bowed his head in thought. Not long after, he raised it again.
"I have a suggestion. Let's have Miss Lumine test the Simulated Universe. It might yield unexpected results."
Herta replied, "You mean have an otherworldly visitor help test the Simulated Universe? That's a new approach. Let's wait for her to return."
Lumine arrived at the platform with Asta. The 500 tons of food Topaz helped her buy had already been delivered.
A massive wooden crate—25 meters in length, width, and height—sat on the platform.
Seeing the size of the crate, Lumine panicked. Oh no... she bought this much, how would she move it?
Asta noticed Lumine's troubled expression and asked, "Lumine, what's wrong?"
Lumine sighed. "This crate is huge. How am I supposed to move it?"
Asta chuckled. "That's no big deal. I'll call someone to help."
Asta summoned a team of robots, instructing them to break down the giant crate.
They ended up splitting it into 625 smaller one-cubic-meter crates.
Asta had the robots load the crates onto cargo transports.
"Let's go, Lumine. I'll have them delivered to the lab later."
Lumine gratefully grabbed Asta's hand. "Thank you, Asta!"
The two returned to the lab.
As soon as they got back, before Lumine could react, Herta dragged her over to test the Simulated Universe.
Lumine heard the word "test" and realized she was the guinea pig. She clung to an iron railing for dear life.
"Don't pull me! I don't want to be a lab rat!"
She clung tightly to the railing and refused to let go.
Herta let go of her hand, thought for a moment, then pulled out 1000 Star Coins.
"1000 Star Coins—help me test the Simulated Universe."
Upon hearing that, Lumine instantly let go of the railing.
"Now that's more like it. You should've said so earlier! Let's go—I'll test it."
Herta glanced at Lumine—this girl was just like Stelle.
"Come on, follow me."
Lumine followed Herta to a machine. Herta pointed at it.
"Step up."
Lumine stepped on it without hesitation. Herta had paid—she had to treat her "sponsor" well.
Ruan Mei and Screwllum watched Lumine intently, curious about what would happen when she tested the Simulated Universe.
As Herta pressed the start button, Lumine immediately lost consciousness.
When she came to, she found herself back at the platform where she had picked up her delivery.
Just as she was about to move, a strange force surged over her, irresistible.
Everything around her began to shift and vanish, replaced by a dazzling starry sky.
Lumine looked up. Suspended in the sky were masks with different emotions.
She recognized one of them.
"Isn't that Aha? Who are the others? Crying? Sad? Angry?"
Then the smiling mask—Aha—spoke.
"HAHAHAHA! Visitor from another world! The scent of Trailblazing! Akivili! I knew you weren't dead!!! HAHAHA!"
What Lumine had done in the world of Genshin Impact was, in a sense, very similar to "trailblazing."
Under the intense surge of energy, Lumine passed out again.
When she awoke, she found herself lying on a hospital bed.
Next to her, Paimon and Asta were watching anxiously.
Herta, Ruan Mei, and Screwllum were off to the side, discussing something.
Lumine sat up groggily. Paimon, seeing her awake, burst into tears.
"Lumine! You're finally awake! You scared me to death!"
Lumine patted Paimon's head.
"It's okay, Paimon. I just passed out for a bit. I feel fine now."
Seeing her awake, Herta walked over and asked seriously:
"Lumine, what exactly did you do in the Simulated Universe just now?"
Lumine looked innocent.
"I didn't do anything—I just ran into Aha and then passed out."
***
Herta, Ruan Mei, and Screwllum were all stunned after hearing Ying's account.
Lumine had just entered, and the Simulated Universe suddenly went out of control. They had no idea what had happened inside.
Herta stroked her chin and fell into deep thought.
"Incredible. You actually triggered Aha the moment you entered.Did He say anything to you?"
Lumine thought for a moment.
"Did He say anything? Yeah, something like 'Akivili, you're not dead?' or whatever. Who's Akivili?"
Screwllum answered:
"Akivili, the Trailblazing Aeon—rumored to have fallen."
Ying rubbed her chin and came to a realization.
"Oh? I get it. That's basically Star's boss, right?"
Herta replied:
"Exactly. I didn't expect you to catch Aha's attention so quickly. Once I fix the Simulated Universe, how about going in again?"
Lumine raised an eyebrow cheekily.
"Got any credits? No credits, no time~"
Having finally found a suitable lab rat, Herta wouldn't let go that easily, so she naturally went along with Ying's request.
"Sure. 1,000 per run."
Lumine was very satisfied with that. In that case, no problem.
She glanced at the machine, which was still smoking, and got curious.
"So, what are you guys trying to do with this thing?"
Ruan Mei replied:
"We want to study the Aeons through the Simulated Universe."
Lumine instinctively responded:
"Study the Aeons? But Aha's right on the train."
Her words were like a bomb, instantly shocking Herta, Screwllum, and Ruan Mei.
Especially Ruan Mei—she couldn't even remember the last time she had felt such shock.
Herta grabbed Lumine's shoulders.
"What did you just say? Say that again!"
Lumine felt like she might've accidentally revealed something big.
"I said... Aha's on the train. I've seen Him several times."
Herta, Ruan Mei, and Screwllum exchanged glances, confirming their suspicions.
Herta waved her hand decisively.
"Let's go!"
Ruan Mei and Screwllum followed her into a teleport gate.
Lumine, bewildered, looked to Asta.
"Did I say something wrong? Why did Herta get so worked up?"
Asta forced a stiff smile.
"Maybe... Anyway, let's get your supplies moved first."
Lumine nodded.
"Oh, right—business first."
Updat𝓮d from frёewebnoѵēl.com.
She got to work moving the goods.
Selling this batch of food would be a huge profit.
Inside the train
Welt dragged Otto back and threw him onto the floor.
This scene happened to be witnessed by Sparkle and Aha, who had just boarded the train.
Sparkle ran over.
"Wow~ Who's this? He looks terrible!"
She squatted down and poked Otto, who had been beaten so badly even his soul seemed to be peeking out.
Ye Yun didn't expect Sparkle to be in the shop.
"Sparkle? When did you get here?"
Sparkle saw Ye Yun and ran up to him.
"Hehe, Aha brought me here, of course~ You guys went off somewhere, and I waited for so long~"
Ye Yun replied:
"We went to help someone in a fight."
Sparkle lit up.
"Wow~ A fight? That sounds so fun! Why didn't you take me? I'm mad now!"
Ye Yun was speechless.
"How could I? What are you even doing on the train?"
Sparkle pulled out the 1 million credits Aha had given her earlier.
"Obviously, I'm here to shop~ Come on, Leafy~ Show me around!"
She tugged Ye Yun toward the mini-bar, wanting him to recommend something fun.
Ye Yun opened the touchscreen and asked:
"What kind of stuff are you looking for?"
Sparkle leaned over his shoulder to browse. After a while, she pouted.
"These are all boring~ I want something fun~"
Aha chimed in.
"Sparkle~ Aha recommends the Coin of Fate. It's a real hoot, hehe~"
Sparkle shook her head.
"Nope, yours isn't fun. Leafy~ keep flipping."
Ye Yun continued browsing for her.
Half an hour later, Sparkle suddenly called out.
"Leafy! Stop! Go back to that one—I wanna see!"
Ye Yun flipped back a few pages.
"Which one?"
Sparkle pointed at a castle-shaped item.
[Item: Grand Theater Prison]
Description: A bizarre prison built in a certain fantasy world.Inside is a large stage for prisoners. The Warden can freely assign scripts for prisoners to perform.During performances, prisoners lose control of their bodies.Price: 1,000,000 credits.
Sparkle read the info and excitedly patted Ye Yun's shoulder.
"This is great! I want to run a prison, hehe~"
She handed over the credits, and Ye Yun completed the purchase.
A model of a grand theater wrapped in a bubble appeared in Ye Yun's hand.
"Here. This is your Grand Theater Prison. Find a spot and pop the bubble to activate it."
Sparkle happily accepted it and spun around with it held high.
After spinning a few times, she looked at Aha.
"Aha! Come work for me! I want you to write the scripts! I'll make the Grand Theater Prison famous across the universe!"
Aha immediately agreed—after all, creating fun was his favorite thing.
"At your service, Lady Sparkle. From now on, call me Scriptwriter Aha~"
He even pulled out a fancy hat, a pen, and a notebook.
Welt glanced at Firefly, Aha, and then Otto, and a thought formed in his mind.
A smile tugged at the corner of his lips.
"Sparkle, to celebrate your Grand Theater Prison's opening, I'm giving you a prisoner.Take a look—this guy might need some repairs, but he's still quite handsome."
Sparkle beamed.
"Yay~ Thank you, Mr. Welt!"
She bounced over to Otto and crouched to get a better look at her first prisoner.
"Little blondie~ Welcome to my Grand Theater Prison~Aha! Come carry our first prisoner!"
Aha dashed over and slung Otto over his shoulder.
Sparkle made a playful face at everyone.
"See ya later, folks~ When my Grand Theater Prison opens, I hope you all come! Bye-bye!"
Aha opened a portal. Sparkle kicked him in first, then followed.
The portal closed behind them.
Ye Yun shook his head slightly.Otto, falling into Sparkle's and Aha's hands... things don't look good for you.
Welt was quite satisfied. Letting the professionals handle it was best. There was only so much damage he could do with his fists.
Leaving it to Aha and Sparkle—now that was reassuring.
He was absolutely going to attend the opening ceremony.
