Strange Worlds-Chapter 339: I’ll Go
Chapter 339: I’ll Go
Silas looked at Nathan’s deranged expression and finally said nothing else.
He knew very well that nothing could change Nathan’s decision. Since he was determined to go, then Silas could only stay back and respect his decision.
Even if this meant that he might never see his friend again in his entire life.
"I see."
Nathan roared and launched another punch.
Bang!
Silas blocked it with his shadow and looked at Nathan in front of him with a calm expression. "I have my own things to do and I can’t abandon everything for the sake of revenge."
"You’re a coward!" Nathan yelled once again and took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down. "Before I kill them... I’ll never return."
His opponents were the mysterious magicians of the dark and lightning elements. He also came from the Central Magic City.
From now on... Nathan will go out and start to investigate everything.
First of all, the two other cities.
Silas watched as Nathan walked away and slowly turned around to go back to his own residence. He knew that Nisa was watching in the distance.
But even if he knew, so what?
There was nothing that he could do to stop Nathan and he could not give order to Nathan not to do this. What he could do was to finish his own business.
Nisa watched the scene and could only cry.
It was a mess.
Aya didn’t know what to do at all.
She knew about this incident, but she didn’t come to watch it at all. Because she knew that both of them needed time to be alone and didn’t need others to intervene.
They were friends and comrades but at this moment, they could not keep that bond.
They have different goals and to achieve it, they had to part ways.
Because of Silas’s incident, Evan and the others didn’t gather either. They spent their time in their respective residence, training their bodies until they were dead tired. It seemed that only by making themselves busy would it be possible for them to stop thinking about unnecessary things.
Otherwise, they would just think about what had happened before.
Aya herself was busying herself with the formation and kept on studying more formation. She had to increase her formation level at the fastest speed.
Unfortunately, there was not enough time for her.
And just a week after all of this devastating news, Evan came to Aya once more with an important piece of news.
"Aya, there’s a competition in a secret realm that they have just found. Do you want to participate?"
Secret realm?
What?
Aya was dumbfounded and a bad feeling arose in her heart when she heard that. She turned to look at Evan and asked, "What secret realm?"
"Well, they found a different world and the resources inside are really rich. However, the ownership of the secret realm is being divided by the three cities and everyone had to send someone to guard it. For now, they plan on sending the younger generation to compete there and those who are more capable will be able to get more resources from inside." Evan frowned.
He didn’t have good feelings either but Wansu City had lost so much because of their failure in that mine competition not long ago, so they needed to figure out a way to replenish their resources. This secret realm was simply the best method that they found.
When the Fourth Head of the Wansu City knew about this, he decided that they all had to attend.
But the competition was made for the younger generation to be the one to compete because the older generations had suffered quite a hit back then. They were also the city’s backbone and no cities were able to send more magic warriors.
As of now, sending more people will only damage their foundation.
These people couldn’t do that.
So the Fourth Head of the Wansu City also agreed about sending the younger generations.
The problem is...
Who should he send?
In the end, the Fourth Head of the Wansu City didn’t dare to ask these people who have suffered because of the Green Family and the Red Family’s sacrifice not long ago to come. He simply asked them to sign up if they wanted to attend.
"What resources?" Aya asked.
"Herbs and various other magic stones," Evan replied. "I’m not sure about it."
Aya closed her eyes.
Secret realm that should not exist in this era...
There was no freaking secret realm. That was a ghost realm and the main reason why there are resources there was to bait people from the magic worlds to enter the secret realm.
The problem is...
Even if they knew that it might be a trap, would they still be willing to enter?
Aya was sure that the answer was yes.
Because the magic world was truly lacking in various resources.
There were two types of ghost realms as Aya had said before. The first one has nothing but ghosts but the other one was truly a complete world. The completeness of the world was more than enough to make people think of it as the real world instead.
"Do you want to go?" Aya asked slowly. freeωebnovēl.c૦m
"I have to go," Evan said slowly. "Father said that the children who found the resources can take 10% of what they found for themselves and only the rest has to be submitted to the City. Moreover, if we used the resources inside for some reasons, it would not be counted towards that 10%."
Hearing this, Aya understood that Evan wanted to get stronger quickly.
And for them, the best way to get stronger was through using various resources. The best resource was naturally the natural resources out there.
But natural resources were hard to find and it was not that easy for them to find one.
Now, they could get it from this secret realm?
Who didn’t want it?
"Ok, I’ll go with you," Aya said solemnly.
Ghosts or not, she had to go.
Otherwise, there might be a lot of people who died.
