He grabbed the monster's arm and used it as leverage to get over the monster and to its other side!

The monster sent a slash there as well, and Azrael dodged it again and then flowed upwards with his sword to meet the beast's overextended arm!

Another slash and another appendage fell to the ground in a heap, and the monster shrieked in pain!

It backpedaled, and Azrael charged forward with the intention of ending the battle! His eyes were focused on the monster's remaining two limbs and he avoided them both and headed straight for its exposed throat with his sword!

Cleopatra scoffed.

"If he had a God Aspect, I would have never brought him here. Just send in the others."

The man clicked a button on his tablet.

The door opposite Azrael opened up, and this time, two Lesser Daemons appeared from the other side to confront him.

There were five Lesser Daemons all around him, and he had taken off the head of each and every one.

Azrael didn't know what Cleopatra was thinking when she brought him here, but he wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Killing these Lesser Daemons gave Azrael a serious boost in his Divine Core capacity as well as his Mortal Stats.

At the rate he was going, he would be able to get to B Rank in his mortal body very soon, and his Divine Core only needed sixty more units of Divine Essence before he could rank it up.

Azrael didn't mind doing that either since it was a good idea to improve your God Aspect as quickly as possible, but doing that was only going to affect your mentality.

You would begin to think that it was easy to gain strength by killing creatures that were beneath you, and in time, when you have to face off against a monster that was far stronger than a Lesser Daemon – like the Ascended Daemon, you would freeze at the stark difference in strength.

It was more sensible to increase the difficulty of the situation as your strength increased to ensure that you don't grow complacent or overconfident.

The door on the other side of the room opened, and Azrael turned to see Cleopatra walking out with the facility worker beside her. She had a smile on her face and Azrael cleaned some of the blood on his cheek as he raised a brow at her, waiting for an explanation.

"Great job. How many units of DE do you have in your core now?"

Azrael knew better than to tell the truth.

"165. My system activated the Lithany Tab and I'm supposed to find a hymn to use."

Cleopatra nodded in approval.

Cleopatra already knew that Azrael had an EX in Divine Potential, so he could absorb all the Divine Essence from any daemons that he kills, but knowing it and actually hearing about it from the person himself were two different things.

Cleopatra was an S rank, so to gain the same amount of Divine essence, she would have to kill about seven Lesser Daemons.

Cleopatra wondered how much more useful Azrael's potential would have been in the hands of someone with a God Aspect like herself.

"That's good. You should have enough Divine Essence for what I'm going to teach you. Listen closely. You might think that you and your classmates are all on the same level, but that's a lie. Most of your classmates are from prominent families who have support from the Divine Enforcers, or they belong to pantheons that are actively providing them with support. What you did just now is something that everyone else in your class would have already done at some point in the past.

"They have all killed enough daemons to raise their Core to the E Rank, and they are actually practicing the Lithany to break through. Those who haven't done it yet are those that would be left behind, and there's a high chance that they'll eventually drop out before you get to your second year when they see the difference between themselves and the others."
