Strongest Necromancer System-Chapter 86: The Dragonsteel Sword
Chapter 86: The Dragonsteel Sword
Crack!
The crystal suffered a major fracture before it broke into more than ten pieces and fell all around Jason. The pieces all began to melt into the ground and Jason hurried to grab all of them before they would melt through.
Jason looked at the crystals and sighed. He remembered when he was a kid and how his mother always told him not to put everything he saw into his mouth. But look at him now. His mother would kill him if she knew what he was doing!
Jason laughed at that thought before he started to consume the crystal pieces.

[Congratulations, the user has successfully crossed into S Rank.]
Jason grinned widely at the system’s message as he used a finger to get some of the crystal out of his teeth. Finally! He had been looking forward to reaching S rank since he first got into this place and if not for the dragon, Jason was sure that it would take another Orange Gate Dive before he finally got to S Rank!
Jason put his hand over his chest as he felt a slight heat in there and he figured that it had to do with the Emberstorm skill getting stronger. Just like the system said, once Jason swallowed the crystal, he didn’t feel any discomfort at all. In fact, it felt like just any other meal that he had eaten. There was no pain at all.
Jason finally deactivated his [Mana Frenzy] and [Exo-skeletal Armor] skills and he returned to his regular attire. He turned to the body of the Dragonrider that was still lying on the ground and Jason told his Legion to take out the Dragonrider’s crystal as well as the sword that the Dragonrider had been using and bring it to him. A large Pawn rank III ant went to grab the crystal out of the Dragonrider’s chest and Jason grimaced a little when he watched the ant tear into the man’s heart. Jason wasn’t affected when watching the ants tear into the bodies of beasts, but since the Dragonrider was a humanoid creature, it was a lot more disturbing.
Jason just shook his head as he told himself to get over it. It wasn’t like he was afraid of blood or violence and with the path waiting for him in the future, he would be fighting many more humanoid creatures. So he had to get used to it.
Jason grabbed the crystal and threw it in his mouth to chew it.

Jason sighed absentmindedly as he looked down at the Dragonrider’s sword. The subordinate replica of the Dragonrider came with its own sword, so the original sword was still in perfect condition. Jason turned the sword over and hummed in surprise when he realized how light it was. Jason thought it would be a lot heavier, but it was almost weightless in his hand. Was it because he was stronger than the man? That was possible since the Dragonrider was only a B Rank, but Jason was an S Rank.
Jason shrugged before he used [Appraisal] on the weapon.
——
Common Dragonsteel Sword
Rank: A
Durability: 85%
Boosts: +10% Strength
Description: A common weapon forged from low-quality dragonsteel and native to the people of Radagan. The dragonsteel sword is known for its high magic affinity, and most dragonborn fighters send their mana through their sword and set it ablaze before going into battle.
——
’Dragonsteel. That sounds like something straight out of a fantasy novel. Like Game of Thrones.’
Jason gained a smile when he saw the name of the sword. He swiped the sword across the air a couple of times and created silver streaks before twirling it around in his hand, but he suddenly grunted when the sword fell from his palm after he lost control of it. Jason laughed and picked it up.
Even though he was superhuman now, that didn’t mean that he was suddenly an expert in handling weapons. The only reason why he was so good at handling daggers was because he was used to using knives both in the kitchen and in fights. But swords, arrows, and other weapons were completely foreign to him.
’I’ll try to gain a sword-based skill from one of my subordinates one day. If I don’t, then I can just learn how to use it. It might be difficult, but I have the system. I’m sure it’ll make things easier.’
Jason nodded to himself as he looked at the sword closely. The sword was gleaming brilliant silver and had a long black line running down its center. The hilt was made from bronze and there was a lot of wear and tear on it that showed it was constantly being used by its previous wielder.
Jason decided that he would like to try something and he immediately activated a skill.
[Blazing Embers] has been activated!
Woosh!
Jason held the sword a little bit further away from him as he watched the entire blade erupt in a massive plume of fire! The flames surrounded the sword perfectly and created an aura of yellow and red that threatened to burn anyone who came close. Most of it stuck towards the edge of the blade and provided extra sharpness for when you were cutting your enemies, but there was enough fire at the center of the blade as well that would prevent anyone from trying to use their hands to parry your weapon in the middle of a fight.
’This will be useful against mobs, but I don’t think it’ll do any damage to anything stronger than C Rank. Maybe I should give it to a craftsman to try and make it stronger. No, that wouldn’t work. I don’t think any craftsman on earth would even know what to do with dragonsteel.’
Jason narrowed his eyes slightly before he put his hand over the fire. The fire was warm, but there was no sensation of pain at all from it. Jason took it one step further and put his hand into the flames and he huffed when he still didn’t feel anything serious.
Jason thought that it was because the weapon was weak, but it was actually a combination of the fact that he was far stronger than the weapon, along with the fact that he already possessed some Dragon-based genetics that provided a small protection against fire-based attacks. Jason was just far too strong to be affected by a mere D Rank skill.
Jason deactivated the skill and put the sword away in his Alternate Dimension. He was going to either learn how to use the weapon or sell it off. A sword this well made would go for a few hundred thousand dollars on earth, so Jason would figure out what to do with it when he gets back.
