Super Template System In Marvel and Beyond-Chapter 235: Parallel World
Chapter 235 - Parallel World
Dave nodded, sifting through this version of his memories, then asked,
"System, how much power can I use in this body?"
[Host can use the full power of the Mumud template. However, using Whitebeard's template powers or Dante's demonic energy may damage the body.]
"Well, Mumud alone is powerful enough," Dave muttered with a nod. He sighed, knowing this body—unlike his original one—didn't have super regeneration to protect itself from the backlash of powerful abilities.
Dave flexed his fingers, slowly clenching and unclenching his fists as a faint, silvery glow danced across his skin—traces of the Mumud template activating.
"Even without regeneration... this magic still flows like second nature," he muttered.
He walked over to the window, gazing out at the world. The city looked normal—cars, people, lights—but to Dave, it felt fragile. Vulnerable. A world untouched by supernatural forces.
"No demons... no enhanced beings... no world-ending threats," he mused. "This version of me really lived like a normal guy. A boring, peaceful life."
Then a small smirk crept across his face.
"But that just means I have a clean canvas."
With a snap of his fingers, a magic circle formed beneath his feet, glowing softly with deep blue inscriptions—Mumud's Arcane Platform. He began to chant softly, calling forth the basic elements of the template:
✦ Elemental Fusion,
✦ Spatial Warping,
✦ Mana Thread Control.
The room shimmered briefly, then stabilized.
"No feedback... good," Dave noted. "At least this body can handle Mumud's essence without cracking."
He turned back to the mirror.
"Now, what should I do in this world?" Dave mumbled, just as a system notification appeared before him.
[Host has 48 hours before the possession is over.]
"Huh? There's a time limit?" he muttered as the screen remained floating in front of him.
[This is a magic ritual created by mortal beings, unlike the omnipotent System itself. Of course, there's a limit.]
"...Why did you suddenly sound smug?" Dave muttered under his breath, rubbing his temple.
"Well, first, let's help you get yur revenge," he said with a dry chuckle. "Might as well spend my time killing your version of the Kingpin."
A faint grin crept across his lips.
"It's my side hobby—killing your enemies while you nap," he joked as he stepped toward the edge of the bed.
Then, with a swift flick of his hand, he activated an invisibility spell, vanishing from sight as he teleported toward Fisk Tower, his destination glowing faintly in his vision.
Arriving at Fisk Tower, Dave didn't waste time. He teleported straight to the top floor and kicked open the main office door with a thud.
"You Kingpin bastard! I'm here—" he shouted... then paused, confused.
The room wasn't what he expected. There was no giant bald man in a white suit. Instead, two women were standing inside.
He blinked, lowering his guard slightly. "...Where is Kingpin?" he asked.
One of the women, dressed in a sleek white business suit, stepped forward confidently.
"Have you lost your mind, Dave? I am Kingpin," she said in a firm, cold voice.
Dave stared at her, eyes widening. "No way..."
He stepped closer, circling her slightly as he examined her face. "You look just like him... like a female version of Kingpin."
"What are you even rambling about?" she snapped, narrowing her eyes.
Then the second woman stepped forward. Dave's attention snapped to her—her eyes were cold, deadly, and familiar.
"Dead-Eye?" he muttered, stunned.
The woman smirked, "Atleast you remember me," she said darkly, clearly proud.
Dave stepped back slightly, glancing around the lavish office. His brow furrowed.
"There's something really wrong with this world..." he muttered under his breath.
Suddenly, a screen lit up nearby. It was a live daily news show—and his eyes widened again. The host?
A female version of J. Jonah Jameson was screaming about Spider-Woman being a menace.
"...Even she has a female version here?" Dave mumbled, rubbing his forehead. "Okay, this parallel world is officially weird."
"I spared you, yet you came just to get killed," the female Kingpin said coldly, staring Dave down. "Dead-Eye kill him."
"With pleasure," Dead-Eye replied, already holding two deep, curved blades in her hands.
In the blink of an eye, she dashed at Dave with deadly precision. But he was faster.
Dave sidestepped, and in that instant, two shimmering blades of energy formed in his hands. With one swift move, he slashed—clean, precise.
Blood sprayed.
Dead-Eye's eyes went wide before she collapsed, motionless.
Kingpin stepped back in shock, but it was too late. Dave turned, eyes glowing faintly, and with a flick of his wrist, a second energy blade flew—piercing her heart.
She gasped, falling to her knees, then crumpled.
Both were dead.
Dave stood there in silence for a moment. Then he muttered, "...Whether you're male or female, Kingpin, I came here to kill you."
He turned, walking calmly out of the tower as if nothing happened. Once outside, he narrowed his eyes, activating his mana senses. Energy pulsed faintly from nearby skyscrapers.
"Hmm... I wonder if the others have female versions too," Dave muttered to himself, already planning to gather their photos and return to show the others. "Hehe... let's start with SHIELD."
He grinned, then leapt into the sky, his coat fluttering behind him as he soared.
Using his enhanced magical senses, he expanded his awareness like a sonar—scanning the city for strong energy signatures and technology clusters. His vision shifted, glowing softly as the world lit up in a web of mana traces and electromagnetic pulses.
"There," he whispered, spotting a hidden aerial vehicle cloaked high above—hovering like a predator watching the world below.
A SHIELD Helicarrier.
"Invisible to most... but not to me," he smirked.
With a silent spell and a shimmer of light, his form vanished completely—cloaked by an advanced invisibility spell layered with magical dampeners.
He rose toward the Helicarrier, phasing through the outer hull without triggering a single alarm.
"Time to see if Fury's got a sister," he murmured, eyes scanning the interior as he moved through steel corridors like a ghost.
