Tick tock tick tock…

Bright red blood dripped onto the ground, forming a puddle, as yet another assassin fell dead!

Ye Qiu’s arms were numb.

Having just snatched the blade from his opponent’s grip, even though he managed to deliver a fatal strike, he too suffered.

The leading man opposite him stared with a cold sneer, licking his lips like a bloodthirsty reaper, his eyes filled with malice.

“Your skills indeed didn’t disappoint me; you truly have the capability to kill a nightmare,” the man clucked, his body tensed as if ready to pounce at any moment.

Ye Qiu watched the man coldly.

His lips were dry, and his gaze swept over the other assassins encircling him, the heaviness in Ye Qiu’s heart was unspeakable.

The thugs before him were nothing like the ones Li Hao and Ma Tao had dealt with; those were mere riff-raffs of society, apt for intimidation but far from capable of actual murder.

But the assassins standing before him were not to be underestimated, for they were trained, had blood on their hands, and each was a ruthless killer, blinking not an eye in murder.

If it was one or two opponents, Ye Qiu believed it wouldn’t be too difficult, but facing over twenty such skilled fighters, even Ye Qiu felt uncertain.

Especially the leading man whose strength obviously surpassed the others, or the other assassins wouldn’t be so obedient to him.

This was a pack of fierce and hungry wolves, each flashing blood-red eyes, eager to tear Ye Qiu apart.

“Had enough rest?

Don’t worry, I won’t kill you with one strike; I want to kill you slowly,” the leader said indifferently, his excited mood driven by Ye Qiu’s wary gaze, as hunting skilled prey was what he enjoyed most.

“Nonsense.” Ye Qiu took a deep breath and made his move.

Assassins are formidable, but they excel in stealthy killings; Ye Qiu was well aware of this.

Once an assassin loses the element of surprise and exposes themselves, their lethal power is greatly reduced, at least by half.

In terms of killing skills, Ye Qiu’s methods were certainly no worse than those of his opponents.

The biggest challenge was to reduce the number of assassins he faced; otherwise, it would be difficult to handle later on.

Ye Qiu was no god; while making his moves, he was already considering how to deal with the worst-case scenario if he was exhausted.

Ye Qiu’s legs lifted off the ground, tracing a shadow on the floor, his dagger drawing a sharp gleam in the air as his body leapt instantly.

The opposing assassins had seen Ye Qiu charging and drew their blades.

Daggers, the assassin’s favored weapon, allowing them to relish the thrill of killing up close, especially the rush of personally ending a life, the blade slicing through a throat, the blood splattering — it was exhilarating.

Clank clank…

In close combat, the daggers collided, producing a grating noise, as if chirping birds tearing through the long night.

After a brief friction of blades, a figure passed between two people, and the scene quieted down again.

The two black-clad assassins felt their necks, sensing a warm flow surging up; blood stained their hands.

In less than two breaths, the daggers in their hands clinked as they fell to the ground, followed by the bodies of the two assassins.

Once again, a double kill with one strike.

Ye Qiu licked his dry lips; the gloom in his heart did not dissipate.

Killing two assassins was not the end, for he still had many more to face.

Ye Qiu remained tense, as merely killing a few assassins was not enough to get through this ordeal.

Only by eliminating all the assassins would he be able to truly relax.

The leader watched this unfold, slightly stunned.

From Ye Qiu’s attack to killing two fellow assassins, the whole process took less than thirty seconds, achieving a perfect kill.

Impressive, how powerful!

The leader’s expression turned more excited; the stronger Ye Qiu was, the more thrilled he felt.

“I must kill you,” the leader’s gaze flickered, and with a shift in his eyes, the other assassins moved, realizing that Ye Qiu was tough to handle, and could not be given further opportunities to kill.

The assassins understood they were outmatched by Ye Qiu, and if they wanted to kill him, they had to unite.

“What are you waiting for, waiting for him to pick you off one by one?” the leader shouted.

With that, many assassins jointly set upon Ye Qiu.

The leader did not join the fray, standing alone outside the circle formed by the assassins, watching Ye Qiu surrounded in the center.

Dozens of figures swarmed like midnight shadows, engulfing Ye Qiu.

In the chaotic fight, sounds of punches and kicks exploded, mixed with the piercing cries of daggers.

Ye Qiu became the prey surrounded by many foes, enemies on all sides; the sight seen by Shen Tianlong and the butler caused them to break out in nervous sweat.

“Is today the day I, Shen Tianlong, die?” Shen Tianlong watched Ye Qiu’s lone figure battling against dozens, his mood plummeting.

Faced with such desperate assassins, who could escape?

The butler couldn’t bear to watch the bloody battle, clutching his fists, helpless to intervene as he could not let Shen Tianlong be left alone in the car.

The killing continued, filled with cruelty and bloodshed.

Ye Qiu stood there, his body slightly stooping, gasping heavily, his eyes vigilantly watching the multitude of assassins still aiming to hunt him down.
