Tang San's Twin Sister-Chapter 72
They showered and joined together for breakfast. Rong Rong settled between Ning Feng and Oscar, still visibly exhausted from running and eating silently. Before the gong called all of them, they headed for the central plaza, where the dean was already waiting for them. He observed them all, his gaze resting on Ning Rong Rong.
"Have you decided?" He asked her, and she straightened.
"I'll stay, " she said, her head held high. "I'll prove to you I can be the best."
He raised both his eyebrows and nodded in acknowledgment. "I see," he said and then turned towards Oscar. "Oscar, summon your Sausages. Today, I want you all to adapt to eating them, as you will need to do so frequently from now on. That being said, we all have to celebrate something today. Oscar finally broke through level 30."
Oscar raised his fingers in victory, jumping around excitedly as the rest applauded and gratulated him before he conjured up a few sausages. "Food for everyone." He said cheerily; all eyed the Sausages when Rong Rong stepped forward and tore them out of his hands, biting into them. The others followed suit, and Yin had to admit they weren't even that bad—a bit like Wiener, but more savory. She chewed on them and then looked at the rest of the Sausage.
"These would make good Hot Dogs, " she noted and ate the rest, noting mentally. A bit of bread, spices, and Ketchup would be perfect.
The others gave her a weird look, but no one questioned her as they all started eating, and Flender nodded encouragingly. After they all had eaten their fill, he grinned. " We are going to the spirit forest to hunt a new spirit Ring for Oscar. Pack your things. We will depart at midday so we can be in the next town by this evening," Flender said and turned around as they all looked at each other.
"Brooooooo, Feng," Yin said with a smile. "Can I borrow some space inside Teddy and twenty-four moonlight bridges?" freeweɓnovel.cѳm
"Pretty Please." Xiao Wu joined in, and they both looked at the two.
"What are you talking about?" Dai Mubai asked curiously.
Tang San gave him a wry smile. "Ning Feng and I both have spirit tools with a storage function. Twenty-four Moonlight Bridges." He pointed at his belt. "And Teddy, which is Feng's Teddy Backpack."
"In that case," Oscar slung an Arm around Tang San and made puppy eyes at him. "May I borrow some space as well? As a congratulations gift?"
"You are not my sisters," San said dryly. "I am sure you are strong and can carry your things. Butter up to Feng, not to me. I think Teddy is bigger, considering the stuff I saw her take out of that bag."
Ma Honjun twirled over to Feng as if coordinating with Oscar. "Feeennngggg......" They made big eyes at her, and she blinked.
"No." Feng then said. "N-No space."
Tang San raised his eyebrow.
"I know you store your wardrobe, half of Gales Library and Equipment, and Yu Huas sewing stuff there and had space to spare," He said. "Fitting in a bit more shouldn't be a problem? You stored traveling equipment there before we came here."
"W-Why do you think i-its full? D-Damian stored his s-stuff inside a-as well." Feng said dryly. "I-It even starts t-to feel heavy."
"All of it?" Yin asked, surprised that it fit through the backpack's entrance, as Feng nodded gravely.
"Damn..." Xiao Wu said, then turned to Tang San, blinking at him with large eyes. "Brother San..." She chirped, and Yin did the same thing. "Brother San."
Under their combined effort, he nodded. "Alright." He groaned and cast a side eye at Feng, who shrugged her shoulders, signing that she was feeling with him, and Jiang, who pointed first at him and then at Tang Sans' belt, fluttering his eyelashes. He also didn't want to carry his stuff in a backpack.
"But only my sisters. The rest can carry their stuff. I am almost full as well." San said sourly. Yin and Xiao Wu high-fived each other for success.
"Oh, and you will be heading to the spirit forest alone; the teacher helping you with the hunt is going ahead," Flender told them and left. All of them nodded, and everyone went to pack their things.
An hour later, they gathered together. Ning Feng carried Teddy, her bag on her back, and a changed overcoat with sturdy leather armor underneath it. Tang Yin also had changed into sturdier clothing: boots and leather pants with silver applications, her sword belt loosely around her hip, and hair in an updo with hairpin blades that gleamed viciously underneath the sun. Everyone who didn't have a storage tool carried huge backpacks with them.
"Everyone present?" Dai Mubai asked, his gaze resting on Zhu Zhuquing. Her gaze could have frozen hell over as she glared at him, and he flinched back.
"Oscar is responsible for food. Let's go." Dai Mubai said, catching himself. Then, he departed, running and releasing his spirit energy. The others followed along.
Ma Honjun and Jiang spread their wings and soared above them. "I take the front. Tang San takes the rearguard. Yin, you stay behind me. Rong Rong, Oscar, and Feng stay behind us. Fatty and Jiang are covering the sky. Xiao Wu, Zhu Zhuqing, take sides," Dai Mubai ordered firmly, and they got information. Their supporters were in the middle as they almost constantly munched on sausages.
Yin refused regularly and nibbled at hers slowly. She didn't want to overdo the support, drawing more from her spirit's power.
The landscape flew by as they made their way fast. They occasionally passed other travelers who looked at them with fascination. The wind played with Yin's hair as she ran directly behind Dai Mubai.
