The dragon's harem-Chapter 1244: There Is No Escape
Raptur gasped. Even now that he can fully use Cronos's body, he isn't happy because of the creature that showed before him. A soldier of the invasion war.
What the hell is an adult void dragon doing in the mortal world? They all should've been sent to the front lines of the war.
Arad jumped back, ensured that Zenia's soul was safe inside his body, and then used size magic to grow large enough to face the titan face to face.
It was then that Raptur finally recognized who was facing. His face paled, and his eyes turned into two pools of pure darkness, contorting into a grimace of horror. In a second, it looked as if he had aged a thousand years.
Raptur was too powerful and controlling; Cronos's body made him even more lethal. He wasn't happy to face an adult void dragon. But honestly, he could probably face two at once and even survive.
But not this one, not the pure horror that had appeared.
"How many souls have you violated?" Arad's voice rattled the cave.
Raptur felt his cells scream, his blood boil, and his mind crumble at those words. The veins on his body bulged, and his eyes could see an even bigger shadow behind Arad's draconic form.
"Why did you come to this universe? To sow chaos? To make its people suffer?"
Raptur's muscles contorted, and his soul shook. When did he... what is Nyar doing? Why is this thing alive?
"You aren't welcome here, invader."
Raptur could feel it. The world itself is crumbling, pushing against his very existence, rejecting his presence. The ground burned him, the air became toxic to him, just by existing, both time and space were trying to rip him to shreds.
Arad lifted his claw, and Raptur immediately decided to flee. He has to return to the main fleet and inform them that this bastard is here.
All hell broke loose in the depth of the chasm, and the mountains violently shook. The titans who were too heavy and too massive fell, and their titanic buildings cracked.
Tens of mountains exploded into volcanoes, and the shockwave of their bursts pushed the storm clouds away, letting the blue sky shine down on the mountain range, if even for a second, before ash covered the heavens and rained down.
Raptur soon landed outside the universe, bloodied from head to toes. He had lost his left arm, a chunk of his torso, and one of his eyes was gouged out, exposing a part of his brain. His wounds were already healing, but some still burned with the black void, sizzling like meat on a hot pan.
His one eye flooded with tears, and he puked a torrent of blood and guts. All of his body hurt like hell, but he ignored the pain and crawled away. He has to run, run away before that thing finds him.
Thankfully, since the world he was in and the whole universe rejected him, teleporting outside became easier than almost anything else he could do.
That thing probably didn't want to fight him inside that world; many lives would've been lost. The hypocrite wants his people to live in peace, but brings chaos to Raptur's people.
No, Raptur knew exactly why that thing would mercilessly murder them whole, given the chance. The abominations had already violated and wiped out many universes, consuming them dry. For that thing, this universe was his, the safe haven he made for his people. He won't let them come in and destroy it like they did to the others.
Raptur looked around the empty void of outer space. He has to find a military base of his kind, and a big one at that. Unquestionably, the thing is chasing him. If he took him to a weak military base, he would only cause them to get wiped out in seconds. He can't even imagine the amount of destruction that thing would cause if he led him to a settlement.
Sadly, he could only sense a few small settlements nearby. Those are probably there, so the abomination could build military bases close to the universe.
What was Nyar doing all of those years? Why isn't there a single massive military base around here? Was that thing rampaging here all of those years?
"How revolting." A sweet, melodic voice rang across the void, too enthralling to be spoken by mortals. Raptur knew that voice, and he cursed.
Floating away in the middle of nowhere, Amaterasu sat on a sun, tended to by two beautiful angels. One polished her red toenails, and the other brushed her hair.
The stunning goddess looked as beautiful and terrifying as Raptur remembered her. But unlike before, her exquisite kimono was a bit tattered, her hair looked slightly off, and some dust had settled over her pale skin. Still, she was too bright to look at.
"Insulting someone the moment you see them, that isn't as graceful as I remember. Nor as ruthless." Raptur growled, knowing well that he was now surrounded. Amaterasu is ahead of him, and that thing will soon arrive behind him. He has to buy time and think of a way to flee.
Amaterasu didn't even look at him; she didn't even speak, but the angel who was brushing her hair did. The angel was a beautiful woman with stunning, long golden hair and silver eyes.
The angel spoke, her voice clear, sharp, and rumbling with divine energy.
"My lady says that she'd rather drink my piss then look at you. Would you mind dropping dead on your own? Burn to ash if you can, that would be much appreciated."
Yes, that was the Amaterasu that he knew. A beautiful monster.
"Isn't that a bit too much hate for my kind? Even coming from you? Divine Sun." He growled. If he doesn't manage to extend the conversation a bit longer or find a way to escape from her in the next few seconds, he'll die without anyone ever hearing about him.
"My lady says it's not about you being an abomination. It's about you being work for her. She loathes working, and since you're alive, it's her job to make you die and disappear." The angel went back to brushing Amaterasu's hair.
"Work?" Raptur gasped.
Amaterasu flicked her finger, and all of the nearby abomination settlements shuddered. Suns appeared above them all at once, sucked them with gravity into the fiery inferno, and then exploded into countless blooms of light.
Amaterasu is the one who had been killing all of the abominations that got near the universe before they could build military bases.
It was then that Arad showed up, teleporting right behind Raptur.
