The next few nights at school were pretty ordinary. School was slowly becoming a haven for her. The bond between the 3 brothers strengthening with Violet and themselves. Oliver was much more like a friend. Jeremy still kept his distance, but he smiled a little more and engaged a little more in conversation. Ash seemed to even be a bit less aggressive with his brothers however he was more aggressive with strangers.

On her first day back, Ash came and checked on her after every period he was becoming increasingly protective over her. It felt really good to have him care so much. She really started to have feelings for Ash, which scared her because what if he wasn’t the one she would be mated with.

Violet was doing well adjusting to her classes. Her teachers liked her, they thought she was cute, quiet and gentle. They appreciated her reserved behavior, they thought she seemed well groomed. There were a few witches who were showing more interest in her, not enough to talk to Violet. But it was progress. She still only had the one friend Rosa. Which was enough for her really.

The wolf females were relatively uninterested. She did her best to ignore the rude remarks about her being a slut and a whore for sleeping with so many men from most of the trueblood and higher born vampires, especially the jealous female vampires. It hurt to hear her situation stated like that; they didn’t understand how exhausting it was to constantly be the object of sexual desire from every man in your house. Oliver was the friendliest of all the brothers, he was the most social in their classes. You can always expect a good laugh, though sometimes it would be at others expense. Which is, again, one of the things that upset the other female vampires.

"Hi, I know who you guys are, I mean who doesn’t. I’m Rosa and I am honored to sit at your table." Rosa said with a genuine smile, "I can’t believe I’m going to be sitting with actual royalty!"

Jeremy rolled his eyes and turned away glaring at Oliver who was being overly friendly, in his opinion.

Ash feeling better about Rosa seeing how Violet laughed around her, how at ease Violet seemed with her. He smiled leaning on his hand. Seeing Violet like this made his heart feel light, he’d never experienced this feeling before. Everything about Violet was new and foreign to him.

"So, Rosa which one of your parents is the vampire?" Oliver asked. He was really curious about Violet’s new pretty friend. If he’d known she was this pretty he might have fought Jeremy harder from the start.

"My father. He is highborn, but he doesn’t claim my mother or me, and outside of the basic care and this schools tuition, we don’t speak with him, really. My mother was donating blood for extra money, and I guess the smell of her attracted him, and well the rest is history," Rosa said.

"Oh, Rosa I’m so sorry. It must be rough without a father around and being neglected and abandoned." Violet said also relating to her and feeling guilty, Violet grew up loved and doted on by her father. But he also left her here to be at the mercy of the princes.

"No, my mother and I are pretty great, she’s a dentist, and often works on vampires. So, we live comfortably, And I have a stepdad, he’s nice and he doesn’t care that blood is apart of my diet." Rosa said smiling.

The bell rings and everyone returns to class. At the days end the car picks them up and takes them home. Everyone excited but Violet she felt unease, just as much as excitement. She couldn’t imagine being pregnant and mated to Riley. She could only hope she wasn’t pregnant or that if she was to any other brother than him.

Arriving back at home, the moon more than halfway across the sky, her dress to wear to

the pregnancy ceremony was on her bed. It was a white sheer gone that went to her feet, it hugged her curves loosely. She was to be completely naked underneath. Violet sighed, but she was getting used to being seen naked all the time. Dressed Violet heads downstairs to the garden where the brothers stood again waiting for her; they walk her to the same building as before in another room, there was a tub and a table, a hammock swing in the corner, shelves, a couch and a sink. Violet does as she’s asked and lays down on the table.

Gabriel turns and walks towards the other room, the other brothers waiting for her, she sighs, and slides off the table, head hanging low she walks to the room with the large bed in the center.

"Lay off Riley, acting so impatient, like a rabid animal." Jeremy said disgusted by Rileys behavior towards Violet.
