Jeremy was stunned by Ursula’s sheer size, he knew wolves were big, but he hadn’t realized how big wolves were when they shifted. He couldn’t let her know he was surprised by how big she is. He couldn’t lose face to her. He couldn’t let her win. Not when he was only just warming up to her, but seeing her shift into a wolf brought some pain, once buried deep, back to the surface. And it took a serious effort to restrain his reaction to seeing her shift the first time. His instinct

"You’re big, I din’t say you were tiny I didn’t argue with you either. You’re still weaker than me." Jeremy remarked rolling his eyes at her. "Don’t you have something better you could be doing?"

"Nope." Ursula answered.

"Then I will give you something, I need to go make and make some medicine for this disgusting dirt bag and Violet. Help Oliver lug his ass back to his bed." Jeremy said point at Riley’s bloody body on the ground.

"Why you’ll you make medicine for him? He’s a rapist scumbag." Ursula furrowed her brows glaring at Jeremy.

Jeremy sighs "Because if I don’t and father comes and see’s my brother looking like hamburger meat, he’ll lose it. And if you’ve never seen the King of Vampire’s

lose his shit, I would high recommend not." Jeremy answered. "So in order to

avoid a bigger blow out, I have to make him better sooner, Violet’s birthday is in two days and he’s already going to shit when he sees a wolf and a human and

half blood."

Jeremy was starting to dread the day as it came closer.

"Makes sense." Ursula said, clearly unhappy about the logic. "Well, better not give

him any pain killers."

"I wouldn’t dream of it." He stopped and then giving her a devilish smirk he says "Might even make something that makes him sick."

Ursula laugh at that. "Go and help Violet first."

Jeremy went to his lab in his closet and started working on things for both Riley and Violet.

Being an herbalist, he worked long side his brother Gabriel who managed a pharmaceutical company.

He carefully constructed a medicine for Riley that included some of Violet’s old

blood and herbs that aid in skin repair. The combination means he’ll look healed but he’ll still be injured on the inside some. Violet’s blood is old so it’s not as potent of a healer.

Violet’s medicine was made with higher quality materials and more specific to her needs. She needed something to speed up the red blood cell reproduction rate to

accelerate her healing, as well as rising the injuries on the outside. The bruising, the bite marks, the pain.

After making a bath remedy and a salve, he set the oral medicine to still in his incubation chamber.

When he arrived to the room everyone had a worried look on their faces.

"What’s wrong?" Jeremy asked puzzled.

"Violet has a fever." Ash said his face had increased worry lines.

"A fever? How is that possible?" Jeremy asked. Violet was a pure blood, unless she were dying she shouldn’t be able to get a fever. We can’t get sick from anythin other than food poisoning.

"I don’t know how, but we need to know why and fix it." Ash said.

"Is Viktoria awake yet?" Jeremy asked. Viktoria was busted up pretty bad but not

that bad, Rosa did a number on her without causing any serious damage, he

wondered if he’d need to make her something. Jeremy rolled his eyes and thought ’fuck that’.

"Yeah, she looks like shit though." Ash said "She’s in her room."

"Thanks." Jeremy and left the room with a bit of urgency. Violet having a fever wasn’t normal. As far as he knew she’d only ever been sick once in her life and that was when she first started her bleeding. Jeremy knew Violet’s medical history, he received all her files before she arrived.

What could cause her to have a fever?

Arriving at Viktoria’s room, he doesn’t bother knocking and just walks right in. And standing front of the mirror, she was examining her body and face, her bruising on her body wasn’t too bad and but her face was pretty bad.

Jeremy was unfazed by Viktoria’s nudity. No one compare to Violet in his eyes. But then an image of Rosa popped into his mind.

Quickly shoving the image aside he speaks to Viktoria. "What did you do to Violet?" Jeremy’s tone was harsh.

"Wow, could have knocked." Viktoria frowned seeing Jeremy at her door.

"I don’t care to waste time waiting for permission to enter a room in my house of someone who assaulted my woman." Jeremy snarled with an aggressive tone "You’re lucky you’re still alive. If she is pregnant and harmed you could be imprisoned for a really long time, you know?"

"Whatever." Viktoria said.

"What did you or Riley do to Violet, this is the last t time I ask nicely. Next time I will do worse things to you than Riley."

Viktoria gulped feeling the seriousness in his words.

"Riley drugged her with a shit ton of ecstasy." Viktoria confessed.

"She could be pregnant what the fuck was he thinking." Jeremy yelled.

"Who cares? I don’t."

His smile looked devious. As he chuckled he said, "I’d watch my back if I were you. Rosa is a pretty formidable opponent, and Ursula has a pretty mean bite as

well. And now Ash hates you, better hope Violet forgives you before my father

arrives for the birthday."

Jeremy walked out and slammed the door behind him. Heading back to Violet’s room he pulled out his phone and called Gabriel to update him on what happened.

"You’ve got to be kidding me?" Gabriel said after Jeremy finished the story.

"I need IV bags sent to the house. I’m going to go and make her a downer to lower

the effects of the drug." Jeremy said.

"I’ll have it sent over now. What a fucking dumb ass Riley. And Viktoria she’s such a pathetic little brat." Gabriel sounded pissed. If your average person were to hear

him speak they would tremble. "I’ll be home to handle the situation after my next meeting."

"Alright." He finishes hanging up the phone. Jeremy heads back to his room to make remake the pain medicine with the downer effect in mind to counter the effect’s of Riley’s drugs.

After the medicine was made Jeremy went quickly back to Violet’s room.

"Ecstasy, they gave her fucking ecstasy." Jeremy said aggravated slamming the door behind him.

"Stop touching her and leave her be for now, I’m giving her meds to help the pain and bring her down and numb her some so she can come down from the ecstasy."

"I’m gonna go fuck him up again." Ash said turning to leave again.

"You will not, I just gave the maid his meds. I didn’t put in the effort to heal that shitbag for you to undermine my work." Jeremy snapped.

"The fuck you mean heal him?" Ash growled deeply his voice rough and angry. His muscles tensing up. He balled his fists resisting the urge to hit Jeremy.

"Yes, our father will be here and I’m not trying to cause anymore problems, he’s

already gonna lose it over their being a wolf and a human and a half blood there." Jeremy reminded him.

"Fuck, I forgot he was coming." Ash said relaxing his muscles.

"Yep. Be grateful I’m saving your ass." Jeremy grinned.

"Rosa, you should go before our brother Gabriel get’s home. Riley’s going to get has handed to him and he think that is family business and not for others who aren’t family." Jeremy said there was was a hint of sadness in his face almost.

Part of him didn’t want her to go.

"Kay. Keep me posted on Violet, what’s your number?" She asked.

Jeremy takes her phone and puts his number in it.

"Text me, see ya." Jeremy says waving bye.

Rosa gives Violet a soft, gentle kiss on her forehead before departing.

Maidservant Kim was at the door when Rosa opened it with IV bags in hand.

"Excuse me, Miss Rosa." Maidservant Kim said.

"Oh yeah, here I was just leaving," Rosa said holding the door and stepping aside to her in.

"Thank you." She said and then looked to Jeremy "Your brother sent the IV bags and the cannula to stick in her arm." Handing the supplies over to Jeremy.

"You may leave." Jeremy says turning back to Violet, beginning to clean the backside of her hand before pushing the needle in.

Hanging the bag above her bed and he gives her the medicine next.

"Wake up Violet, you have to take this medicine." Jeremy said.

"Hey, you have to wake up now" Oliver joined in echoing Jeremy.

Violet opened her eyes just barely. She tried to smile but was too weak.

"You have to wake up and take this so you can feel better." Jeremy said.

She just blinked some and open her mouth a little. Jeremy place the medicine table into her mouth and takes a glass of water to her lips helping the tablet dissolve and wash the gross flavor a way.

Violet was exhausted to even make a face of disgust as she swallowed the gross tasting water. And then closed her eyes again.

"Should we have asked Rosa to stay and watch her as we go and meet with Gabriel?" Oliver asked Jeremy.

"No we will ask Mrs. Grace to stay by her side and watch over." Jeremy said "I’m going to clean her up some and apply the salve I made to help heal her wounds. She shouldn’t have so much as a scar before her birthday as one as we keep apply in it. Go and fetch Mrs. Grace." Jeremy asked Oliver as he headed to her bathroom for a soft, wet wash cloth and some soap.

Oliver leaves to fetch the house keeper. When he gets down stairs he finds Gabriel by the front door.

"I didn’t even hear you come. I’m disappointed in myself I’ve lost my touch." Oliver said.

"Is Violet in her room?" Gabriel said. His face screamed fury his eyes flashing from a glowing red to his typical blue.

"Yes Jeremy is taking care of her, and Ash is handling some things with Victoria and is on the phone with Uncle Hyde." Oliver answered.

Gabriel throws his things on the ground quicks walks for the stairs. Oliver was pretty confused by Gabriel’s concern and urgency regarding Violet, he’s usually pretty detached and unconcerned with things involving her as long as it doesn’t

concern outsiders.

But this time he was actually pretty anxious about it. His father would be here soon. His brothers are at war over this girl. And he was starting to grow a soft spot for the girl. He doesn’t know when it started but today, he noticed it. frёewebnoѵēl.com
