The Journey of the Outsider.-Chapter 14: Caugth in the middle of everything.

There is something, that one should always fear that is fear of uncertainty. No one ones, what might come from the actions they have done in their entire life. This fear brings the good and bad that comes next.

"Where am I?" Silver tried to move his hands, and legs which were tied closed with ropes, and wires. He was covered in sweat and nose was feeling the trench from the room, he tried to use this strength but it didn't help them at all.

"am I still inside the church premises? I can't feel any mana in the air, either." Silver looked around to figure out where he was. In the dimming light of a torch burning at the top of the door, and the walls of the room were a rock, hard and cold from touch, and a large steel door that locked them from the outside.

There was no holes or spaces for any light or noise to pass, he was isolated from the outside, but then he sensed something else inside the room, he turned around to see the where the noise was coming from.

He walked a bit ahead into the room, "That's the girl from note."

The little girl was tied up much more mercilessly than Silver, her mouth was muffled by a cloth, face red due to the scars on her face, and her hands were white to the lack of blood due to the tight windings.

There was no a hint of humanity the way the girl was tied, and being kept in this tenchy room. Her clothes were covered in drench and sweat too. The

"I need to get out of here. The air is getting thinner by the minute, if we stay too long. The girl will die of from air poisoning. There must be a way to get out."

Silver wondered if help would come, there must have some way the warlords or maybe a passerby would have observed the entire fiasco, something must have given them a hint about what is going on.

Silver was powerless unless he could escape the anti-mana zone, otherwise there would be no chance to do anything. "Wonder if I use the system here."

"The system works here, does the system use no mana. Then how does this work, that powers the system ?" There were some unimportant questions Silver was worried about when he needed to escape a death trap.

Silver began to wonder, was there something else he could use to bring himself out the death trap. The brute that knocked him down, had a overstrong punch more some reason.

"If he has that much strength, then I think there must be some other source of empowering yourself." Silver tried to feel it around himself, the noise of the nature was there something that could help and win maybe- "If the system does not need power to work..."

"It's time to get out of this place." The steel door opened with a slam, as the grunt with clubs in their hands. One of them walked in and picked up the little girl on his shoulder like she was some sort of baggage, while he ordered Silver to get up.

Silver reluctantly stood up on his feet using the wall for help, looking the grunt in the eyes. "What you looking at?" Another one of slammed a club straight through Silver's guts knocking him on his feet; "agh..." Silver coughed all the air and spit on his mouth.

"Get up and follow us, I'll gut you up again if you try anything smart. We know when you try to use any of that spells or tricks bastard." The club slammed against the wall, before the grunts left with the girl and Silver followed the best he could.

The long hallway came next from the locked door, Silver wondered where did this hallway from came from, at the end of the hallway there was a steps to climb down. "There is a bloody prison door at the upper portion of the church?"

Silver as he climbed down the stairs, each step was tough to step down. He was leaning against the walls and hoping that both his feet slip on the stone steps.." Shit!" But the unwanted happened, one of Silver feet rubbed against the long step and slipped and he wasn't able to stop himself from slipping.

Silver rolled and crashed through the stairs, and rolling the few of them. Hitting different parts of his body right before he reached the ground.

"Ouch..." Silver wasn't hit in the head, but it wasn't the same for his back and legs, that hurt. The second thing that reached his head was people laughing.

"I am telling you, I haven't seen this man. I didn't ask him for help." another pleading voice to him.

"Lift this one and show me his face."

A one of lackeys ran and picked up Silver from the ground, grabbing him by the hair and lifting him up in the air.

"Now, who are you in this weird dress and face?"

Silver saw a man in front of him, a muscular structure of his face and a sense of mystery in his double cut lips. He brought the a sample paper from his pocket.

"How did you get this?"

"On the ground... I clashed against a man and he dropped this note, it was black earlier and when I came to church, the note became white again."

The man crushed the note in his hand, "A coincidence indeed it seems. So, do you want to save this man's life or not?"

Silver shifted his view to the little girl who was lying on the floor and the a old man, that was probably the man Silver had gotten the note from, with a bag.

"I... I don't have enough money to pay for anyone."

"Come on, this poor innocent man just got caught in trouble because of you. You think you want to let this man die right here? I suppose you would choose the virtue of diligence, but it seems you are just a sloth aren't you?"

「The system is detecting something nearby. The trace is non translatable, trying to show the best description.」

It wasn't just the system that heard something, Silver could feel it around him, the whispers of bliss, and happiness, fulfillness...hunger, lust...death.

"Now, that you refused save a man's while, I don't think you deserve have your daughter's life promised to you anymore. Kill her." The boss signaled the lackeys.
