With Aelyndra's new found strength, she and Lance fought against the Titan King, barely able to hold him back, though, that was all they could manage, and it was still unclear if they managed it themselves, or the Titan king just didn't exert more of himself. Though, the later felt like the case.

As the battle raged, Lance noticed the dragon elders regrouping in the distance. Their immense forms were battered and worn, but their presence was a glimmer of hope.

"Finally, they appeared!" Aelyndra said, trying not to break focus from the main foe before her.

"I'll handle the elders," Lance said, pulling back. "You… keep doing your best."

Aelyndra turned to him, her golden eyes unwavering. 'I can't tell if he's joking or serious.' She thought to herself.

The dragon elders, though victorious against whatever foes and challenges they faced, were visibly drained. Their magic reserves were noticeably nearly depleted, and their massive forms bore the scars of their battle.

Lance approached them, his hands glowing faintly with his healing magic.

One by one, Lance healed the elders, sealing their wounds and restoring their stamina.

The auburn-haired elder flexed his claws, his movements steady once more. "Wow, this is… more than amazing."

The silver-haired elder growled low. "This goes against the natural order itself, but I'm not complaining."

Meanwhile, Aelyndra fought valiantly against the Titan King. Her speed and most improatantly her defensive magic spells allowed her to stay ahead of its powerful strikes, but its sheer size and resilience made every blow a struggle.

The Titan King, despite its size, moved with surprising agility, its massive limbs swiping through the air with precision. Aelyndra narrowly avoided a devastating punch, countering with a burst of golden flames that scorched its crystalline armor.

She darted around it, her claws striking at its joints and weak points, but each attack seemed to take a toll, her energy waning as the Titan King's relentless power bore down on her.

As she began to falter, the elders joined in, their massive forms slamming into the Titan King with earth-shaking force, forcing it a few steps backwards.

Aelyndra seized the opportunity, unleashing a concentrated beam of light that struck at the Titan King's chest. The attack struck true, creating a massive crack in its body, but that was all it did, and slowly, it even appeared to be regenerating.

Regardless, with the combined strength of all of them, the battle began to shift. The Titan King, though still powerful, was now on the defensive, its massive form struggling to keep up with their coordinated attacks.

Despite all this, the Titan King stood resolute, its obsidian crown glinting ominously as it drew more power from the Earth's Heart. Its crystalline veins pulsed with an otherworldly glow, and the ground beneath it cracked under the weight of its immense energy.

"You cannot stop the inevitable," the Titan King declared, its voice echoing across the battlefield like fierce thunder.

The Titan King raised its arms, channeling the energy of the Earth's Heart into its massive form at a much higher rate than it has all along. Slowly, its colossal body began to shrink, the glowing veins condensing into a compact, dense structure.

When the transformation was complete, the Titan King stood only ten meters tall, its form sleek and refined. Despite its reduced size, the air around it felt heavier and dozen times more oppressive.

"This form," the Titan King said, its voice sharper and more menacing, "condenses my power a hundredfold. You will now face true despair." It said, putting fear and shock on the faces of those before it.

In an instant, the Titan King vanished from sight, its speed incomprehensible to all before it. A flash of light erupted as it reappeared, slamming into elder Thoryx with a force that sent him crashing into the mountainside, leaving a massive crater. Somehow, he had only been knocked back and not pierced through.

The others barely had time to react before the Titan King unleashed a laser-like breath attack, its beam slicing through the battlefield with the speed of light. Before the beam struck its target, the Titan King was already there, landing a devastating blow that sent Aelyndra sprawling while the light caught the other two elders dead on. Just at the last second, Lance had managed to dodge the attack, but it was close, even he didn't know he could react or move that fast.

Lance charged toward the Titan King, appearing before it in an instant as he unleashed a flurry of cleaving attacks.

The Titan King dodged effortlessly, its movements incomprehensively fast, after all, he was now faster than light itself. It countered with a punch that struck Lance in the chest, sending him skidding across the ground with several broken ribs that he immediately healed before the pain even struck him true.

"Is this the best you can do?" the Titan King taunted, its voice cold.

It moved again, appearing before Lance before he could even register its presence, unleashing a flurry of attacks to instantly kill him this time. Without even consciously adjusting to the appearance of the Titan king before him, Lance's body moved on its own out of instincts, dodging every single strike from the Titan king, moving so fast that Lance felt a lagging effect on his own self as his perspective raced to keep up.

After avoiding dozens of life ending strikes, with a point blank range energy attack shot from the Titan's mouth, Lance was knocked backwards while engulfed in it. The attack came like a flash of light engulfing everything before the Titan king, and though Lance reacted fast enough to avoid it, the range of the attack was just too great and he still got caught in it.

Lance staggered to his feet, his body screaming in protest. Despite the overwhelming odds, he felt something stirring within him, a wellspring of power, deeper and more primal than anything he'd ever known, as his mind started zoning in.

But, before he could tap into it fully, the Titan King appeared before him, its hand wrapping around his throat.

"Not so fast," it sneered, lifting Lance off the ground, cutting him off and bringing him back to reality. Even he had felt it at that time that he couldn't allow the human before him any more time. Somehow, he felt threatened at that bit of time, and from a human no less.

Though Lance tried to set himself free, it was no use once he had been caught, the Titan king's strength was far superior to his.

As the Titan King raised its other hand to deliver a killing blow, a familiar voice echoed across the battlefield.

"Isn't that rude to cut someone off when they are just about to unlock something more? Only the weak do that… Besides, what's so impressive about reducing your size to gain strength?"

The Titan King froze, turning its head to see Kaelthara descending from the sky, her dragon form casting a long shadow over the darkened battlefield.

Her golden eyes glinted with amusement as she hovered, exuding an aura of unshakable confidence.

"K-K-Kaelthara," the Titan King growled, its grip on Lance loosening for a moment, giving him room to catch his breath before forcefully freeing himself and creating distance. "You dare mock me?" The Titan king growled while staring at Kaelthara, turning to look at Lance who had just escaped death for a moment before turning back to Kaelthara.

Though he labeled Lance as a certain potential future threat and wanted to kill him before doing any other thing, he also couldn't go after him and ignore Kaelthara who stood before him, she was a present threat. At least, for the time being, he had stopped Lance doing whatever he was going to do, so the threat was contained, so he could focus on the main issue before him. frёeωebɳovel.com

Kaelthara smirked as she looked at his slightly confused reaction. "I've seen better tricks."

The Titan King darted toward Kaelthara with the same speed, yet, before it could take a third step, its foot nearing the ground, time seemed to freeze. The battlefield fell silent, the chaotic winds and energy grinding to a halt.

Kaelthara's massive dragon form shimmered, shrinking and condensing into her human form, though, this time she appeared in a humanoid form unlike any before.

Standing at the same height as Lance, she was clad in sleek, dark draconic armor that glimmered with golden and black hues, a brilliant shade that surpassed any worldly gem any had seen, if they could witness it. Her presence was otherworldly, a fusion of raw power and graceful elegance.

Kaelthara appeared beside the Titan king as though she had teleported to his side. With a single, almost casual motion, she tapped the king lightly on the chest.

She turned to glance at Lance, who was still falling, and smiled faintly, her smile trailing as things seemed to return to normal.

To everyone else, Kaelthara appeared to have barely moved. The Titan King's body, however, was sent hurtling backward as if struck by an incomprehensible force.

It crashed through more than two dozen massive chunks of earth, each collision sending shockwaves that rippled across the earth connected. By the time it stopped, it was over a thousand kilometers away, buried beneath the earth.

Kaelthara returned to her normal human form, her draconic armor fading as she strode over to Lance. She nudged him with her foot, her expression calm but stern.

"Get up," she said flatly, drawing him out of his blank expression.

Lance groaned, his body aching as he stirred.

Kaelthara crossed her arms. "Go make sure that thing is dead."

"What? Arghhh…" Lance looked back to see the massive hole through a few mountains in that island, some collapsed some still holding, and judging by the way they looked, the body was nowhere near.

The dragon elders and Aelyndra stared in stunned silence, their expressions a mix of awe and disbelief. None of them had seen what had happened, only that Kaelthara had shifted into her human form and the Titan King was suddenly gone.

"What… just happened?" elder Thoryx asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Aelyndra shook her head, her golden eyes wide. "I don't know. I didn't even see her move."

Kaelthara smirked faintly, her eyes glinting with amusement. "Like I said, condensing your size isn't that impressive."
