The Primordial Record-Chapter 1541: Primordial Reality
The changes being experienced by all the realms where the storm had arisen were drastic and unprecedented, and the first to comprehend these changes were the Old Ones; they were the ones that had the closest relationship to concepts besides Primordials, and it did not take long for them to realize the incredible latent power dwelling inside the storm after Rowan had began releasing five percent of the energy he was gaining from outside Reality.
Five percent might not seem like much, but in the grand scheme of things, when it came to the powers at the Primordial Level, five percent was extremely potent, and the amount of energy released had surpassed anything ever seen in reality, almost equaling the power levels of the Primordial Domains.
However, Rowan expects that it would take a few years, perhaps a decade, before every Old One would become acclimated to the energy from the storm. Reality was infinite after all, and a decade for this change to be detected and harnessed was a blink of an eye in comparison.
Rowan could respond so quickly to changes in events in a relatively short time because Time was much more abundant for him than what was available to the rest of Reality.
Time went by much slower in his Origin Land, especially in its depths, where Rowan chose to settle his consciousness. In the city of Sheol, time moved at a ratio of ten to one, where every ten days inside his city was a single day outside of it, and in the depths of his Origin Land, a thousand years would pass in a day.
This advantage was extremely potent, and Rowan would see more benefit from it as time passed. It meant that technically, Rowan could never be threatened by an emergency because he would always have enough time to tackle any situation that arose. However, the same thing also applied to his enemies. The Primordials existed outside time, and any limitations they had were what they gave themselves.
His only hope was that his advantages would cancel out their advantages to leave a level playing field. Bringing the storm into Reality was a way to break one of the greatest advantages of the Primordial Domain and slowly shatter the firm hold they had over Reality.
At that time, the true face of Reality would begin to change, but this storm was going to bring transformation not only from the top but also from the bottom, and Rowan knew that the changes from the bottom were much more significant to him than what would arise from the top.
As much as the Old Ones would benefit from Essence that was nearly as pure and powerful as Primordial Essence, the greatest beneficiary of this process would be the mortals and the minor immortals.
The Old Ones had all grown under the influence of the Primordials. Their path was only possible because they followed what was given. However, in a Reality where endless possibilities had been unleashed, Rowan believed only the mortals and lesser immortals were poised to take advantage of it.
The act of Ghribba, the Silver Queen murdering every life inside her domain was not just premeditated on her madness and her distaste for the life dwelling in her realm, it was in the realization that if these lower dimensional beings understood the power in the storm, there was a great possibility that they would rebel against her control.
She quickly realized the endless possibilities of advancement hidden inside the storm, and she could not allow the people she had come to hate to claim this power, even though there was more than enough power inside this storm to satisfy everyone in her dimension, including herself.
It was harder to grow stronger for a being like an Old One because every step forward demanded a harsh requirement, but that was not the case for mortals and minor immortals, who were blank slates, and Rowan had given them the ultimate tool for advancement.
The energy and concepts inside the essence that filled the storm were so high-level that they could boost a mortal's position from zero to godhood in the blink of an eye. The speed of breakthroughs enjoyed by so-called geniuses would be nothing compared to what was coming, and these were just the basic benefits they would be enjoying.
Rowan had not just unleashed this storm in the higher realms; he did it in the lower realms as well. Although the storm had caused great devastation and deaths across countless universes, the change that would occur in the coming years would bring so much sweeping changes that Rowan could only fully predict the overall direction that Reality would take and not the many Minor changes and surprises that would arise from Reality slowly returning to its primordial state.
Life could flourish inside a dimension because a small amount of Primordial essence powered the realm, and Rowan was releasing this power to all of reality.
Rowan treasured mortals' potential, which is why he released just five percent of the Primordial Essence he was gaining from outside Reality. With this level of power, it would not be too harsh on mortals, and they would be able to adapt to it quite easily.
He would not be this lenient forever, because he would begin rapidly releasing more power into Reality after a while. Those who could quickly adapt would prosper in this new Supreme Era, and those who could not would become one of the endless number of fatalities in this war.
Something else that dragged Rowan's attention was the overall state of Reality that was being transformed, far more quickly than he had expected, because he assumed he would begin seeing these changes when he had released around forty percent of the Primordial Essence he controlled.
Still, the Primordials had starved Reality of so much Essence that just placing five percent of this essence inside of it was enough to trigger this transformation.
This change was subtle and would only become more apparent after centuries, but it was indisputable that the energy being released from the storm was making Reality more condensed.
