But apparently it wasn't limited to just reinforce the body and body cultivation, the elder who lost his right arm all the way from the shoulder, actually started growing it back, though the regeneration stopped above the elbow, past that a prosthetic arm formed by earth and spirit energy was formed to be a temporary substitute.

It was understandable, though these elders are from secondary branches within the Mountain Amber, they still have the lineage of a main Fey family, so it wasn't surprising that their lineage ability had such a practical property.

And in case you wonder why Bradley didn't do something like this when Aster cut his arm, that's because it came with a price, the elder who had regenerated a part of his arm, had a few strands of his hair turn white for a second, a sign that he had burned some of his lifespan in exchange for the previous, though they turned back to their brown color a moment later.

Bradley as a direct descendant didn't have the need to resort to this ability, since he could recover with treasures and it will be less troublesome than to recover burned lifespan, especially because as someone with a higher amount of the Mountain Amber's lineage, he could have completely regenerated his arm, though it will come with the respective price.

Of course, that was the "logical" explanation that the elders of the Mountain Amber family thought about, the reality is that he was so afraid of Aster that he couldn't even think properly, so he had no chance to use his innate ability, not that it would have made a difference at that point anyway.

The elder with the prosthetic arm looked into his spatial ring to then take out another shield, since Camilla had destroyed his with her spear earlier.

'We might be from secondary branches, but even us got a chance to take a weapon from the elite mass-produced armory of the main families, the shield that woman destroyed should be on par in terms of quality with treasures used by high ranked elders of middle grade Stellar System ruler families… so are you telling me her spear used materials on par the ones used for personalized treasures from direct descendant elders?', thought Mariana to then say.

"The spear used by that woman seems to have been made with the same material as the swords of the Lord of the Twin Sword Valley, add Mountain Armor to it this time".

Two of the three early-stage elders hesitated for a second, extending "Mountain Armor" to something outside of their bodies will burn their stamina like crazy after all, the elder with the prosthetic arm on the other hand, immediately followed Mariana's order.

The shield of the elder with the prosthetic arm covered in an oily dark brown substance, dying it of the same tone, before intent was added to it and then rocks covered it, it was triple layered defense.

He finished his defense just in time for Camila who had flashed back continue the fight, to appear in front of her same elder as she thrusted her spear frontwards.

"Clang!", the sound of metals colliding, accompanied by sparks flying, reverberated through the sky, the head of the spear sank half into the shield, but the thing actually blocked the silver-haired girl's thrust!

Very much to Mariana's satisfaction, after all that elder was using the innate ability of the Mountain Amber family, it might be the basic form, but it's still something that only those with a relatively decent amount of purity in their blood can do.

"Armored Mountain Protection!", the other two early-stage elders followed the example of the elder with the prosthetic arm, creating a triple layered defense that then merged together creating a dark brown mountain-like wall, making the silver-haired girl softly snort.

"Copper Com…", just as Camila prepared her spear for a heavy attack to crush the mountain wall in front of her, the peak stage male elder as well as Mariana flashed from their previous position.

After the previous exchange they understood that trying to stall Camila was a bad idea after all, that spear that they thought the Lord of the Twin Sword Valley gave her, apparently was a ridiculously high ranked treasure, just like the golden swords he used to their young master down through his defensive treasures.

So, they were going to go with a hybrid combat formation, the three early-stage elders to block the enemy, while they who were the strongest of the group and could handle the enemy on their own, will be in charge of the vanguard.

"Mountain Charge!".

"Landslide!".

Using their movement spirit techniques, the peak stage male elder and Mariana, respectively, appeared next to Camilla, the double layered shield was bashed at her, while Mariana's Warhammer was aiming for her chest.

"Copper Crusher".

"Silver Piercing".

With a dark copper colored light cladding her left hand and a blinding silver light covering the tip of her spear, Camilla met the weapons of the enemy head on.

"Booom!", the result was a thunder-like shockwave followed by the three of them being blown away due to the impact, naturally Camila was forced backwards more than double the distance of those two, but that didn't make them happy in the slightest.

"How the hell is she fine after taking our attacks head on, she is a damn energy/soul cultivator… it's going to be a pain in the ass if we still have to deal with mind tricks on top of it", said the peak stage male elder.

"Forget about that, though her lineage ability seems to be weaker than the one from the Lord of the Twin Sword Valley, she seems to have a wider variety of applications for it, for example I didn't see her using intent on her first and yet she damaged your ghost shield, damn it", added Mariana.

Earlier, Camilla used the silver light cladded spear to deal with her Warhammer while punching away the charging shield with her copper light cladded fist which actually created quite a few cracks on the double layered defense of intent and rocks on top of the spirit treasure shield, at the same time.

That's right, Camilla's treasure aura had the extremely rare capacity to affect intent even if the auburn-haired girl didn't use intent with it, and the reason is actually quite simple, her treasure aura is supposed to reinforce her body, as she is not a body path cultivator.

So, through Julian's network, Aster bought a batch of treasures with the ability to affect intent and gave them all to the treasure girl to refine them, to see if she could integrate that into her treasure aura.

After all, her natal treasure had the ability to integrate properties of the materials that were refined into it, so Aster thought it was worth the shot, and it turned out to be the case.

Of course it costed a lot, after all treasures that can affect intent are not easy to come by in middle grade Stellar Systems, and even in high grade Stellar Systems they are available but for really high princes, so Aster asked Julian to find those that were basically unusable and were being maintained simply as family antiques due to their rare property, and buy them.

After all, Camila didn't need the treasure to work to absorb its properties, though the amount of silver and copper liquid she could turn them into did diminish, that being said the price still escalated to an obscene number of spirit jades, luckily the merchants which Julian used as brokers, were more than enchanted to accept yin or yang accumulation crystal instead, depending on the gender of the merchant in question.

And Aster had a virtually endless source of it, so he splurged a bit for the sake of the treasure girl, only the best for his family after all, naturally he didn't bother to mention all the previous to Camilla, until she had absorbed the mountain of "broken" treasures he casually brought her one day.

Needless to say, but she was all smiles when she managed to obtain that property for her treasure aura and her face was red as an apple when Aster told her, that he will be sure to offer the most exotic treasures for the "queen".

It's worth mentioning that Julian only obtained them after Aster's date with Camila, he handed them to Aster when he visited the valley before the left for the mission, so this was a recent improvement.

"Fire Wave!", in the fractions of a second that took Camila and the elders recover from their clash and prepare for the next one, the elders from the Blazeheart family launched their next round of attacks.

This time they went for a wide area focus with lower physical impact but higher elemental damage, because earlier they saw those black metal plaques completely nullifying their slashes, while the fire did remain, though it was ultimately dispelled as the black metal plaques seemed to be highly resistant to fire.

A bright purple-blue light illuminated the sky as the flame tsunami produced by those five attacking together, exploded, turning the vicinity in a fiery hell.

They actually took advantage of Alexandra's "weakness" which is the fact that her range is limited to the size of her black heavenly gold plaques, to make their fire explode outside of the range of her defense.

Of course, the part of the explosion that approached Alexandra's plaques was instantly nullified, but the massive sea of flames did advance towards her, at least until the light gray-haired girl beckoned and the five plaques of black heavenly gold which she used to block those guy's attacks earlier, flew in different directions.

"Boooom!", the five plaques released the impact they had absorbed all at the same time, producing a shockwave which clashed with the incoming fire tsunamis, blocking its advance.

The Blazeheart elders gritted their teeth, they injected more spirit energy and their fire attribute into their technique to extend its duration, just to see how the black plaques released a second explosion to counter them.

"Damn it!", cursed the leading Blazeheart elder, what was worse is that they couldn't feel any significant energy radiation from the light gray-haired girl, in other words she blocked their five techniques at the same time, without much of an effort, it was outrageous.

'How the hell is she doing it, she didn't use any noticeable amount of spirit energy to block our swords earlier, nor did she use it to clash without fire waves this time, she isn't a damn soul cultivator so she couldn't possibly be hiding the traces of her spirit energy from us either', thought the leading elder to then take a peek at the side of the Mountain Amber family.

They hadn't made any progress either, what's more he noticed that one of the elders was now missing an arm, which mean that even after exchanging enemies they weren't doing it any better than before.

But then he received a message from Mariana.

'What have you discovered on your side?', she asked, to which the leading Blazeheart elder said.

'I don't know how, but she blocked out sword attacks without those strange pieces of black metal and then used them to clash with out flames in order to cancel them out, so she has both physical and energy high defense properties, not to mention that the amount of spirit energy she put into it was really small if she even used any'.

'Try and see if she can defend against soul attacks as well…', just as Mariana was suggesting the leading elder from the Blazeheart to try through the soul path, she was interrupted by the same elder saying.

'Ahem, we don't know any soul attack type techniques, the Blazeheart use the soul path for control and enhance over our flames'.

'…', Mariana was momentarily at a loss, before she lashed out at the leading elder.

'Well, those damn flames of yours aren't working at all, you fool!', naturally, the leading elder from the Blazeheart wasn't going to let that insult slip away, after all the defenses that the Mountain Amber family was so proud about, weren't working like intended as well.

'At least we have managed to remain in one piece so far, besides it's not like "Fire Wave" or "Blazing Sword" are the strongest attack techniques we have, it's just that those are the ones we can use without any preparations so our flames aren't useless', he said.

'You are attack type cultivators, there is no need for you all to clash head on with the opponents when you fight with flames, despite using the body path as your main one, we on the other hand fight at close range and that woman keeps attacking…', midway through her sentence Mariana realized something.

The Blazeheart elders needed time to charge stronger attacks and they needed someone to attack the silver-haired girl while they controlled her with their strong defenses.

'Let's do it like this…', the eyes of the leading Blazeheart elder flowed for a second as he listened to Mariana's explanation, making him nod to then look at his teammates.

"Henders, Beck and Wilk, you three go support the elders from the Mountain Amber family, don't worry they'll cover for you, just listen to elder Mariana's orders", said the leading elder, making those three frown, they naturally felt more comfortable fighting against someone who clearly had defense-oriented talents like Alexandra, instead of the surprisingly fierce silver-haired girl.

"In case you have forgotten, this enemy is stronger than the girl with the spear, she fought in close combat with elder Mariana and received zero injuries, the fact that she isn't attacking right now, doesn't mean she won't do it later, that's why in exchange for you three to go help the Mountain Amber, their vice-leader will come to help us have a proper defense".

Two middle stage and one early-stage Sea of Knowledge in exchange for a peak stage one, was a fair deal, especially because the former are attackers while the latter is a tank, the Mountain Amber family elder was taking the bigger risk, since he will be in charge of fighting head on against Alexandra.

"Don't be cowards, just bomb that speak bitch off with your flames while using those tough guys as shields", added the vice-leader from the Blazeheart, making Henders and the others ultimately nod to then flash away towards the battlefield of the Mountain Amber family.

It's worth mentioning that by the time they were leaving, the peak stage male elder from the Mountain Amber family was already arriving to the Blazeheart's battlefield, not like there was that much of a distance between the two of them.

"Why did you call that guy, that woman is stronger than him in terms of toughness and she couldn't keep up with me anyway", casually said Alexandra to which the peak stage male elder snorted.

"Mountain Armor!", this time it was his turn to use the innate ability of the Mountain Amber family, making his skin gain a dark brown tone, that's what the elders from the Blazeheart were hoping for, the endurance of the Mountain Amber family members was known at Heavenly Quadrant level after all.

"Leave the frontline to me, prepare something to blast that arrogant bitch into smithereens!", exclaimed the elder as he flashed at Alexandra with his tower shield in one hand.

"Mountain Charge!", midway through it, the peak stage male elder used his movement spirit technique to gain momentum.

"Rock Shield Bash!", with his now triple layered defense, including the treasure, his intent and the rock layer that grew on top of it, as well as the explosive increase of speed given to him by the Mountain Charge, he tried to smack Alexandra away, only for the light gray-haired girl to punch with that pretty right fist of hers.

"Mirroring", with a single word, Alexandra's fist exploded in dark gray spirit energy to then clash against the shield of the enemy.

"Booom!", a thunder-like sound was produced by the clash of Alexandra's punch and the shield's bash, if one looked carefully at the point of collide, one would see a thin black metal plaque floating a millimeter in front of Alexandra's fist, she was actually punching the metal plaque and not the enemy's shield directly.

'No way!', exclaimed the peak stage male elder as he felt a shiver travelling through his whole body, not only was the impact of his shield bashing technique, enhanced by the Mountain Armor, and the speed he gained due to his movement technique, equaled by a single punch of the enemy without any momentum, but he was the one that received backslash from it.

On the other hand, contrary to what the elders from the Blazeheart stated, the enemy was using a notorious amount of spirit energy against him, so his participation did bring a change for the better and with reassured confidence, he threw his arm backwards.

"Damn it, Mountain Crushing Fist!", the peak stage male elder punched his own shield, making the layer of rocks that had covered it to explode.

"Booom!", at blank point, countless pieces of debris were shot at the light gray-haired girl's face, they were fighting in the sky and there weren't mountains to destroy with the elder's fist, so he used his technique on his own shield, using it as a replacement.

"Humph!", Alexandra however, used her free hand, well, free as in it wasn't the one with which she was clashing against the shield but holding onto her lance, to swing said lance which was cladded in ghost lance to smack away the pieces of rock flying at her.

Continuous clinking sounds were produced by the rain of rocks that were impacting against Alexandra's lance, the thing actually did a good job at blocking the attack, despite it being an attack type spirit treasure, unlike the tower shield of the enemy, which was being forced backwards by Alexandra's fist by the way.

Fun fact, unlike Camila who recently obtained the amazing ability of affecting intent without the need to use her own, Alexandra already had that capacity since before her date with Aster, her attribute was centered in absolute defense after all.

She couldn't absorb it, but her black heavenly gold was a material that had the innate property of affecting intent and when using "Mirroring" she produced an impact on par with that of the enemy's attack, not to mention that she could compensate for the difference with spirit energy and even further empower her own attack, like it was happening right now.

"Ack!", the peak stage male elder ran out but Alexandra's attack didn't diminish in the slightest, resulting in him being sent flying, he wasn't gravely wounded at all, but his shield's triple layered defense was nearly destroyed.

However, it was worth it, because the Blazeheart elders had finished gathering their flames to use a stronger spirit technique.

"Blazing Glory!", shouted both the leader and vice-leader Blazeheart elders, making their seas of knowledge shrink a nearly by a half, in exchange the light blue border of their flames gained a darker tone, this was the boosting spirit technique used by the guy who fought against Nerissa.

But that wasn't all, their newly acquired flames were absorbed into their bodies which then started glowing in a purple-blue light.

"Blazing Sun!", both the leader and vice-leaders turned into purple-blue spheres of fire that then expanded in every direction, the peak stage male elder smirked at Alexandra to then flash away, avoiding the incoming giant spheres of fire that charged at the light-gray haired girl, whose eyes glowed in a fierce dark gray light as she placed her hand on her chest, more accurately on the area where the heart is positioned.

But then, her plans were interrupted by… a silver star coming at her?
