The Seven Sisters and Their Hidden King-Chapter 171: Damn Sequelae
Chapter 171 - 171: Damn Sequelae
After taking a shower, Emily emerged wearing a thin, light slip nightdress. Her figure was impressive—tall at 5'5", with long, slender legs.
A soft mist still clung to her fair skin, making her look even more alluring.
John enjoyed the visual feast thoroughly.
Emily, however, looked conflicted. "Dad... isn't this a little too sneaky? What if John wakes up and thinks we're plotting against him?"
Alton immediately waved it off. "What plot? He's the one who got drunk and stumbled into your room."
Emily went quiet.
Eventually, the father and daughter managed to get John into the room.
Even with his eyes closed, John could tell he had been brought into Emily's room. The soft, sweet scent unique to girls filled the air—it was unmistakable.
"Well, daughter, I'll leave the rest to you," Alton whispered, before quietly sneaking out and shutting the door tight.
John lay still on the bed, inwardly smirking.
Let's see what you do now, Emily.
One minute passed.
Nothing.
Two minutes.
Still nothing.
Three minutes...
Come on already! Don't you know how hard this is for me?!
He almost opened his eyes to peek—when finally, Emily spoke.
"John... I really didn't want things to happen this way. But the girls around you are all so amazing... I'm scared..."
If you're scared, then just take it off already! John screamed internally.
He nearly sat up to help her out of her nightgown himself.
He was agonizingly conflicted.
Then he heard it—a soft rustling of fabric.
He cracked one eye open and saw Emily standing with her back to him. Her nightdress had slipped off.
Her long black hair cascaded over her shoulders. Her back was elegant and smooth. Her waist, slender. Her—
John swallowed hard.
Just when he was about to sit up and break the act...
Emily froze.
After a long pause, she quietly picked up her nightdress and slipped it back on.
Then she whispered, "What I want is to be your girlfriend first... and only then do something like this, properly. I don't want to trick you into being responsible."
With that, she curled up beside him and fell asleep, holding him gently.
John sighed inwardly.
What a good girl.
The night passed.
Nothing happened.
But the next morning, Alton looked at John with an expression full of... implication.
In his mind, of course something had to have happened. After all, no man could resist that kind of temptation.
But when Emily told him John was too drunk to do anything, he looked disappointed.
"He couldn't do it?" Alton asked, confused.
"That's right," Emily said quietly.
Alton let out a dramatic sigh. "What a pity..."
He'd hoped to use the night's events to show off in front of Marcia, who had gone back on her word.
But now? He'd have to keep waiting.
Seeing his daughter a little down, he consoled her: "Don't worry, there'll be more chances. In fact, I've got Plan B ready. I rented an apartment for Dr. Lopez at River Apartments—right next to yours. From now on, you'll be neighbors. Plenty of chances to make something happen."
Emily nodded silently.
It was Sunday, and John still had two days before his first class at Providence College. He biked back to New York.
But the moment he stepped in, he was intercepted by Alice.
She sniffed him like a hound and grabbed his sleeve.
"Why didn't you come home last night?"
John coughed, clearly nervous. "I dropped Kate off at the airport... then went shopping in Rochester... felt tired, so I found a place to crash."
"Oh really?" Alice narrowed her eyes. "Then explain why you smell like a woman's perfume?"
Again?!
John panicked. "It's Kate's!"
"You liar. If you don't tell me the truth, I'll call Big Sis and let her teach you a lesson."
"Okay, okay! You win!" John surrendered. "Alice, you're too sharp! I can't hide anything from you."
So he explained everything that had happened at the Wood family estate the night before.
As he finished recounting the events, he sighed.
Alice... you're like a permanent roadblock on my path to women. If I end up single forever, will you take responsibility?
"Hahaha..."
To his surprise, Alice didn't get angry. She burst into laughter.
"Little John, I think you're not a real man."
John looked at her, defeated.
"You were already there, and you still held back? Are you even human?" she teased. "If you didn't want to go through with it, why pretend to be drunk and sneak a peek?"
She thought back to her own experiences with John... and somehow felt a bit bad for Emily.
John sulked.
Blame the damn Nameless Divine Skill. I might not be able to do anything, but can't I at least look?

Still laughing, Alice clearly wasn't done having fun. "This is too good to keep to myself. I should tell Big Sis. She'll love it!"
John immediately panicked.
If Queenie found out, she definitely wouldn't laugh. She'd lecture him into oblivion!
"Alice, my dear sister, please! Have mercy!"
"Nope!" Alice grinned. "I'm telling her. Maybe if she beats some sense into you, you'll stop seducing girls everywhere!"
Seduce? John felt wronged.
I'm the victim here! Last night I nearly lost years of cultivation in a moment of weakness!
Desperate, he tried his final card.
"Alice, let me help you with your cultivation..."
Just as he hoped, she stopped in her tracks.
A sly smile curled on her red lips.
"Why didn't you say so earlier? Hurry up. I've been waiting!"
She darted off, stripping as she went—dedicated and enthusiastic as ever.
Half an hour later...
John once again carried her into the bathroom.
Hands firmly on Alice's hips.
Damn sequelae!
