Chapter 32 - The Portal to War

After what felt like an hour of stillness, Wei slowly opened his eyes. His breathing was calm but firm, as if waking from a trance. Around him, the ground of the Death Dimension shifted unnaturally—black sand covering the floor like a cursed fog. He narrowed his eyes. Something wasn't right.

He stood up, gripping his Sevpon tightly. "This sand... it's not natural."

Activating the dark power of his Sevpon, a violet-black aura rippled from the blade. Instantly, the black sand began to swirl violently like a whirlwind. One by one, the grains of sand began reforming—elongating into bodies, gaining faces and limbs.

They weren't just sand. They were people. The Nocthyr.

Suddenly, hundreds more formed all around him, emerging like ghosts returning from an endless sleep.

One Nocthyr soldier stepped forward. His form was dark and hazy, his eyes glowing dimly with recognition and sorrow."Raevin, zae sar yuneth. Zaeven drel'shar niriel zael'tor silen. Karethar zae na'zor vorthal, zanir shael narel drai vel'shar vel shael vel'rakil, shael vel sar moraz, zanir shaen's velkarin shael 60, shael vel sar drai karnes nual vel noren shael vel sar drai silen."

(Prince, you are alive. Thank you for saving us from fading away. Maybe you don't know, but this is our condition—if we die by illness, we die; if we are murdered, we die. But when we reach the age of 60, we turn into sand. And after ten years, we completely fade away.)

Wei's eyes widened in realization. He looked at the Death Mask—then down at the creature."So that means... this mask can turn anyone into a Nocthyr." He murmured to himself, his voice laced with awe and concern.

He activated his Sevpon again, and a dark shimmer washed over his form. The glowing black armor shattered, dissolving, as Wei returned to his Human form once more.

Without wasting a moment, he turned and rushed down the corridor of the ruined dimension structure. He found the room where Ryu and Tony were still unconscious, Kai sitting beside them.

The moment Wei entered, Kai stood up."Wei, you turned back into Human form. Now, did you find a way to save them?" Kai asked, hopeful but tense. He didn't notice that his little finger was glitching, phasing in and out like static.

"Yes," Wei nodded. "But they have to be the Nocthyr for three hours to get their body parts healed. Then I will turn them back into Humans."

He held his Sevpon again. With dark energy swirling around it, he pointed toward the beds. Ryu and Tony were engulfed in black light, transforming. Their skin darkened, becoming ethereal, their eyes glowing with strange life. They opened their eyes slowly.

As soon as Tony turned to look at Ryu, he screamed in terror."AHHH! MONSTER!!" he yelled, scrambling backward. In his panic, he bumped the edge of the bed and tripped, falling onto the floor. He then dashed behind his own bed, peeking out only with one eye.

"Relax! Relax! He is Ryu, your brother!" Wei said, raising his hands to calm him.

Tony squinted, still shaking."Ryu... is that really you?"

"Yes, it's me, stupid," Ryu answered, dusting himself off.

"You look way creepier than ever," Tony replied, narrowing his eyes.

Ryu smirked. "Look at yourself—you look way better than your stupid normal form."

"Call me stupid one more time," Tony said, his voice rising in mock anger.

Kai grinned. "Now that is called the start of a sibling fight," he said to Wei, clearly amused.

"Now, stop it!" Wei snapped at them, stepping forward.

"He started it first!" both Ryu and Tony yelled in unison, pointing at each other.

Wei sighed and explained, "You will not be able to use your power, but you will not get hurt. Even if you are torn apart, you will heal immediately."

"Well, that is also a useful ability," Ryu replied, his tone more accepting now.

Wei turned to the Nocthyr beside him. "Zaeven vul shuvel'nas..."

(Thank you for your help...)

The Nocthyr bowed slightly. "Esai Darnyx, Raevin."(It's Darnyx, Prince.)

"Zaeven, Darnyx."(Thank you, Darnyx.) Wei repeated with a respectful nod.

Ryu suddenly crossed his arms. "So... how are we going to stop Prince Wei from destroying other dimensions?"

Kai leaned casually against the wall, a mischievous smirk on his face."It's simple. We are going to defeat him with the army of the Death Dimension."

Tony frowned. "Yes, but even for the army, we need a portal. And Wei doesn't have his powers now, so it looks like we're stuck in here."

Wei turned, eyes steady. "No. There is a portal in this dimension. But I don't know where it is."

"Ask them, maybe they know about that," Kai said, gesturing toward the Nocthyr.

Wei nodded, then turned to Darnyx."Zalek doren'zar velreth veron'thas? Shaen'ar velshin velen sevponsil drel'kar therionsil nual draxil niriel."(Is there any portal to travel through the Dimensions? There is someone who is collecting all Sevpons to destroy Dimensions and rule them.)

Darnyx's face darkened. He spoke with calm urgency."Esar dorel. Zanir, karethar neas su zhean'ar draethor vul zaevenil vul zae. Shaen'ar velshin sevponsil, el'zaen dosven fivor velmor."(There is a portal. But, may I suggest you take some army with you? If someone is collecting Sevpons, he might have the other six till now.)

Wei's expression grew intense."Na'zor. El'zaen dosven fivor velmor, shal draethor vornil'sil su fivor'zel therionsil su shael'kar. Neas zhael draethor kreshtar su drel'shar tia Noctherion. Neas dosven neas'len draethor."(No, if he has other six, he will send an army to every dimension to invade. I want those soldiers to protect this Dimension. I have my team.)

Darnyx bowed slightly. "Zae'thor, zarek vul neas."(As you wish, come with me.)

As they walked through the now-restored realm, Tony opened the door and gasped. The Death Dimension no longer looked desolate. It was alive again—populated with walking Nocthyr, echoes of civilization returning.

Darnyx led them through winding stone paths to a dark ancient cave, covered in glowing runes and ancient carvings. At the end stood a massive gate-like structure, pulsing faintly with dormant energy.

Darnyx raised his hand and began to chant in the ancient tongue. The gate glowed with ethereal blue light, a pulse echoing through the cavern walls.

He turned to Wei with a serious look."Raevin, sar zae vekros zae saral vel su vel'drel shael'kar drai zael'shen? Vel'drel shal velen vel'mor zaen'thor."(Prince, are you sure you are not going to take revenge on your family? Revenge will lead to nothing but negativity.)

Wei stepped closer, eyes calm but fiery."Esai saral zael'shen drai neas'len. Esai nual drai shaen'ar velkarin zarnel shael'shensil nual shaen'ar shal zarnireth zael'shen. Na'zor vornil, neas na'zor shal vekros xelvar neas."(It's not only about my family. It is also about those who lost their families and those who are about to lose their families. Don't worry, I won't let my anger control me.)

"Zanir, zarek neas raevin."(Then, go my Prince.) Darnyx said with a firm nod.

The team stepped into the glowing portal—disappearing in a flash.

Meanwhile, in the Dimension of Life...

Prince Ryu and G Tony sat with Master Feng in the principal's office. The atmosphere was heavy. Suddenly, they heard a noise from the corridor.

The door creaked open. Jin walked in, rubbing his head.

"What happened... and where are the others?" Jin murmured.

Seeing him, Master Feng and Prince Ryu both stood up in shock.

"You... you woke up early!" Master Feng gasped. "Prince Wei said you'd be in a deep sleep for two weeks before he was corrupted."

Jin's eyes darkened with memory. "I remember now. He came to stop me. He tried to help me return to normal... but I lost control. I tried to destroy everyone."

Prince Ryu stepped forward. "After that, when I returned to my dimension, I saw Prince Wei on the throne—he looked... evil. Wei, Kai, Ryu, and Tony went to stop him. But they haven't returned yet."

Jin turned to Master Feng. "Is there any other way to travel between Dimensions without Wei's powers?"

"We were asking the same thing," G Tony added.

"There is a portal," Master Feng admitted. "But... I don't know the spell."

"Can you take me there?" Jin asked, stepping forward.

"No. I don't want to lose any more students," Master Feng said firmly.

"And I don't want to lose my friends and cousins. Please," Jin pleaded.

Master Feng closed his eyes, sighing. "Alright. But promise me you'll come back alive."

"I'll try my best," Jin replied, determined.

Master Feng led them to the Ex-Agency.

"Is that portal in that agency?" Jin asked as they approached.

"Yes. Now follow me."

They took the elevator down into a deep underground lab. In the center of a giant circular chamber, a gate-like structure stood tall, covered in dust and inscriptions.

"That is the ancient way to travel Dimensions. But as I said—I don't know the spell," Master Feng admitted.

"I do," G Tony stepped forward confidently. "I read Prince Wei's books. Let me try."

He raised his hand and spoke the spell aloud.

The portal glowed, lighting up the entire chamber.

"That... worked," Master Feng said in awe.

Prince Ryu looked at Jin. "Let me come with you."

Jin shook his head. "No. Blackfire is the most powerful Sevpon. And it has two masters. One is my cousin Ryu... the other is you. If he killed Ryu, he still wouldn't be able to control it—because you are the other master. Don't worry. I'll be back soon."

With a nod, Jin stepped into the portal—vanishing into the unknown.
