The SSS Ranked Villain's Return-Chapter 245: Red Eyed Angel
Aurelia suddenly wrapped her arms around his waist, gripping tight.
And to his surprise, her strength exceeded what he had expected.
It was to the point that, with a single hug, she managed to shatter his spine—and even kept going until, finally, he grabbed hold of her hands and made her stop.
"Aurelia? Do you hear me?" he called out, not receiving a response.
The tips of her hair had begun turning golden, mimicking how his looked.
Meanwhile, her fangs had retracted, making her seem like an ordinary girl again.
But the mana that was coming from her was simply incredible, and he was certain most of it wasn't his.
Instead, it was the light mana, which, for some reason, seemed to be manifesting itself in the form of a pair of white wings.
Or so he thought. However, the more mana she released, the clearer the image became—until, finally, the body of some strange red-eyed angel appeared right above her.
And in the very next moment, the angel summoned some sort of scythe before swiftly bringing it down toward her face.
However, before it could connect, Neraxis extended his hand, firmly gripping the tip of the scythe and shattering it in an instant.
He glared at the one responsible. "Who the fuck are you?"
"Hmm...?" The angel tilted its head. "You're that guy that was broadcasted earlier, correct?"
"You know me?" Neraxis's brows furrowed.
"We higher beings receive the broadcast a bit sooner than others, so your friends over there should receive it soon enough," the angel chuckled. "On the other hand, why are you defending this heathen?"
"So you're not the one responsible for her curse..." Neraxis deduced with a sigh. "Are you one of the people who banished that angel?"
"And if I am?" The angel grinned. "Are you going to do something about it? You've not fully awakened, so your powers are still—"
Before the angel could finish its words, Neraxis enveloped Aurelia in a protective layer of mana before swinging his rapier right at the angel.
It might've seemed like a slow attack, but because he could see into the future, Neraxis made the attack undodgeable.
The angel widened its eyes as it attempted to block the rapier using its wings.
However, it offered no resistance, and Neraxis's rapier slashed through the wings.
"Wait—"
The angel didn't have any time to protest as Neraxis's rapier made contact with its forehead and blasted its brains out.
Or so he would have hoped. However, there were no brains, only mana that flew into the air and dissipated.

In the meantime, the angel merely stood there, shocked.
"You're a bit more impressive than I expected... However, do note that your hour of peace will not last long. The same goes for this girl. Eventually, she will face our wrath for the sins of her ancestors."
"So much talking, yet all I hear is bullshit coming out of your mouth," Neraxis scoffed as he pulled his fist back before swiftly delivering a jab toward the angel's face. "Fuck off."
In the very next moment, the angel dissipated, its mana seeping back into the surroundings.
Some of it began spreading toward Aurelia. However, he swiftly used his {Primordial Presence: Destruction} to get rid of it.
And now, it was done.
But... is she alright? Neraxis removed the barrier and approached.
However, to his surprise, her hair had turned fully golden, and now, she was merely sleeping, her soft snores resounding melodically.
Hmm... Neraxis hummed in interest before bringing his attention to something.
That something was a pair of red system messages.
<The Solarian Vampire Family>
<Progenitor: Neraxis Valen>
<Firstborn Solarian Vampire, Aurelia Solis>
I guess it's done? Neraxis let out a relieved sigh as he slumped down on the seat beside her.
It was a bit stressful, and he was still reminded of the soft kiss.
However, just as he thought of releasing the barrier and explaining everything to the girls, Aurelia suddenly reached out and grabbed his thigh.
She dug her nails deep into his thigh before sitting up and glancing straight into his eyes.
Aside from a few features, such as her mana feeling completely different and golden hair, she didn't seem too different.
And of course, her eyes soon regained focus as she looked around, confused. "W-What happened? Is it done?"
"It's done," Neraxis assured with a chuckle. "How do you feel? Any different?"
She still seemed slightly out of it, not even realizing he had spoken. Therefore, he decided to do something a little more drastic.
Neraxis brought his finger up to his wrist and slashed it open, hitting an artery.
Immediately, blood squirted out—some of it landing on Aurelia's face as she stared at him in shock.
But that was it—shock, nothing more.
"Are you okay?" Aurelia scrambled toward him, her fingers covering the wound.
However, due to the amount of force she used, Aurelia accidentally lopped his arm off before looking at her own hands in shock.
"AAAH! Sorry! Aella!" Aurelia began darting around in panic, the ground melting with each of her steps.
"Calm down," Neraxis sighed, as it didn't even take a second for his hand to regrow. "Look, I'm fine."
"Huh? Oh wow..." Aurelia ran up to him, inspecting his hand and wrist thoroughly.
It seemed like she didn't even realize she was holding his hands, and even stranger, she sat on his lap.
"Aurelia?" Neraxis called out, as he gently pinched her waist, making her realize the position she was currently in.
The moment she did, her eyes widened as she lunged off him, knocking him over in the process.
"S-Sorry!"
"Yep..." Neraxis stood back up, wiping away the bruise on his chest as he stared Aurelia in the eyes.
"You've become a vampire, though I'm sure you've already seen the system windows about it," Neraxis stated. "Anyways, your curse should be gone now, and if it isn't, you can drink my blood instead of those potions."
There were still many things he wanted to say to her—such as the fact that her emotions were going to be heightened and unstable for the time being.
But...
It'll be funny watching her be clumsy and cute...
