The incident of Sakagami Village finally came to an end. They left Sakagami Village on the second day. Of course, they would not refrain Sakagami Village from making a report to the police about yesterday's incident. However, it was obvious that the villagers of Sakagami Village were all joyous the next day even though a few people died. That was because the villagers could feel that the pressure from the curse was gone. The villagers cleaned up the village instead of going to sleep until the next morning. They were waiting for the sunrise as they wanted to see if the curse was lifted.

Kimura Kazuki and the others were still there at that time. Sei Shigeru did not leave as he wanted to see what happened to the curse. After all, he bore the task of investigating the incident of Unto Shrine as requested by the Deity Rising Palace. Since Sakagami Village and Unto Shrine were inextricably linked, he could not just leave like that after getting rid of Otome Sakagami. He had to at least see if the curse was lifted.

Kimura Kazuki did not leave when he saw this situation. Although what happened next was not his business, he was also curious to see what would happen. He would not refuse to help if he could.

The sun shone brightly on the earth after sunrise. Some of the youngsters of Sakagami Village walked out from under the roof carefully until they were beneath the sun.

Looking up to the sky almost blinded them. The golden sun shone brightly above them and they started sweating. There were no negative effects apart from the heat.

The people of Sakagami Village were crying with joy at that moment, their joyous cheers were loud and endless. Sei Shigeru was touched to see the scene. Happy emotions were contagious after all. Kimura Kazuki also showed a smile upon seeing them.

He was about to say something when the cell phone in his pocket rang suddenly. He took out his cell phone and saw that the call was from Chiba Shiori.

"Hello…" As soon as Kimura Kazuki spoke, Chiba Shiori's intermittent voice was heard. "Kazuki… Check the team."

He heard no sound after that. Kimura Kazuki was speechless. He knew that Chiba Shiori acted like that because of Sakagami Village's poor reception. She knew that Kazuki went somewhere in Kyoto with poor reception after the holidays so she only said the keywords quickly.

After hanging up the call, Kimura Kazuki picked up his phone again and checked the Line team named X. He did not intend to change the team's name although the members in the team kept dissing it.

X stood for the unknown, as well as for hopes and goals.

He had not logged in to the team to check the happenings ever since he arrived at Sakagami Village. Many of the messages could not be displayed at all due to the bad reception. He could only check them after he left Sakagami Village. Secondly, he was busy dealing with what happened in Sakagami Village so he would not be able to get away from the village even if something happened in the team. Therefore, he did not bother to read the messages in the team.

The messages were still loading when he opened the chat room of the team.

Kimura Kazuki looked at Sei Shigeru. "Shigeru-sama, since the issue in Sakagami Village has been dealt with, I'll have to leave first. If there is anything that needs to be followed-up in Sakagami Village, you can contact me and I will do my best to help."

"Alright!" Sei Shigeru nodded with a smile. "You've worked hard these days, Kimura-sama. Feel free to visit the Shigeru house anytime."

"I will." Kimura Kazuki laughed after he finished talking. He then looked at Asuka and Mei and changed his tone. "I formed a small team and I was wondering if the both of you would like to join?"

Asuka and Mei were stunned upon hearing that. They did not speak and hesitated for a moment before their grandfather said directly, "It is an honor for both Asuka and Mei to join the small team formed by Kimura-sama."

The Shigeru family had always been neutral and refused to interfere in any disputes between forces in Japan. This was also the reason why the Arisu family wanted to ask Sei Shigeru to come forward but he determinedly rejected them.

However, Asuka and Mei were still young and they could not represent the Shigeru family fully yet. Joining the small team formed by Kimura Kazuki would be beneficial for the two of them. Therefore, Sei Shigeru would not refrain them from joining.

Since Kimura Kazuki did not invite him, Sei Shigeru guessed that the team was likely to be formed by a bunch of young people. The youngsters who were invited by Kimura Kazuki were probably some young outstanding elites. Therefore, Asuka and Mei could expand their social network by joining the team.

Asuka and Mei did not decline the invitation. They would not reject Kimura Kazuki even if their grandfather did not voice out.

Asuka had always been curious about the Enchanted Talismans in Kimura Kazuki's hands and he was dying to have a discussion with him. On the other hand, Mei was also yearning for the Jade of Four Souls from Kimura Kazuki and she hoped that there would be a day when she could get something worth as much as the Jade of Four Souls to be exchanged with him.

Neither of them wanted to lose contact with Kimura Kazuki so they obviously nodded and agreed to join Team X.

However, the signal was really poor at that time so Kimura Kazuki could not invite them into the Line group. He promised to contact them again after two days.

Kimura Kazuki did not stay long in Sakagami Village and left with Harunaka after that.

They took the bus that came only twice a day at the village entrance. Harunaka let out a sigh of relief on her seat. "I can finally relax now." Although she did not help much, what happened in Sakagami Village truly changed her views in life.

There were the immortal Majin, the curse of thousands of years, the origin of Unto Shrine, and Sakanoue no Tamuramaro, who was known as the Bushin who lived hundreds of years after his death and was seeking for immortality.

Everything that happened here was like a dream for Harunaka. The only pity for her was that her mother did not get to see this. Her mother was still alive and well on the day she became a shikigami, but she fell asleep not long after that, which was normal according to Elder Shigeru.

After activating her consanguinity and becoming a shikigami, she would require a certain amount of time to get used to her new way of living and to accept her powers. Things would get better after Furuhashi Sakurakyu wakes up from her sleep.

Kimura Kazuki looked at his cell phone while listening, there was finally a signal now. Scrolling through the messages in the group chat, he shook his head and laughed. "You can't relax just yet." Noticing that Harunaka was looking at himself with confusion, he smiled. "You should log in to Line to check Team X's group chat. "

Harunaka was curious upon hearing that.

Their phone signals were back to normal at that time. Harunaka picked up her phone and saw the horde of messages from Natsui and the others even before she entered into Team X's group chat. She was "away from home" after all. Fortunately, she left a message in the group chat between the four of them saying that she went for a trip with senpai. She had been basically isolated from the outside world for the past few days because of the poor signal.

Looking at the tsunami of messages, she did not reply immediately. She entered Team X's group chat instead.

She noticed some messages sent by Ikioi Ito and Yuma Sugawara in the group chat.

"Boss Kimura, I need your help! I'm in Kyoto now, when are you coming? I sent you hundreds of messages but you didn't reply to me. Are you okay? Are you involved in some kind of accident?"

"Kimura-kun, the people here are calling the police if you don't come here immediately. The monster will be taken from us by that time and the Department of Mysteries will definitely get involved."

"I can only delay for another day, reply me as soon as you see this."

"Come ASAP!"
