The System Awakens: Rise of the Champion-Chapter 156: Conquering Earth - 3
Within a few minutes, all the cocoons of evolution in various cities around the world began to shake as cracks appeared on them.
In the next instant, one after another, billions of cocoons burst open, and evolved humans, known as Superior Humans, emerged from each of them.
[Conditions have been met]
[You have unlocked the Kingdom Function]
"Oh?" Damian's eyes brimmed with interest as he opened the system interface and clicked on the [Kingdom Function] before creating a new profile.
[Name your kingdom]
"Virellion, the Kingdom of Ouroborous."
[The Kingdom of Ouroborous, Virellion, has been registered into the system]
[The Awakener, Damian Ignatius, known by his Awakener Title as 'Infinity,' has been registered as the King of the Kingdom of Ouroborous]
[The world known as Earth has been registered as the territory of the Kingdom of Ouroborous]
[The species of Superior Humans and High Humans on Earth has been registered as the denizens of the King of Ouroborous]
"Now become part of my faction," Damian muttered.
[The Kingdom of Ouroborous has become a part of the [Circle of Ouroborous] faction]
As soon as this notification appeared, billions more followed, as one by one, the billions of Superior Humans that had been in a state of evolution for the past few minutes began to emerge from their cocoons.
For each Superior Human who awakened, a notification appeared in front of Damian, showing their name being added to the Kingdom of Ouroborous.
Meanwhile, the High Humans Damian had sent to convert every single human in the First Tower Realm into part of the Human Progenitor's faction had only just begun.
So far, they had turned about two hundred humans into [Superior Humans].
Every single one of them, including the newly transformed Superior Humans, stared in shock as a series of notifications appeared before their eyes.
[Virellion, the Kingdom of Ouroborous, has been established]
[The world of Earth has become the territory of the Kingdom of Ouroborous]
[The entire species of Superior Humans and High Humans has been registered as the native denizens of the Kingdom of Ouroborous]
[The world of Earth has been registered as the native world of the species of High Humans and Superior Humans]
[The Progenitor of Humans, Damian Ignatius, has become the King of Virellion, the Kingdom of Ouroborous]
"Virellion? The Kingdom of Ouroborous?"
The high humans' eyes widened, and not just that, they could physically feel millions upon millions of superior humans joining the sire line of the great human progenitor through their connection with the progenitor.
"Do you guys feel it as well?" Maria asked, looking at her adopted sisters.
"Yes... he turned the entire Earth into his own kingdom?" Caitlín Snow, one of her adopted sisters, muttered.
Maria and her seven adopted sisters were originally from Earth, so they could imagine what it meant when the system said that the entire Earth had become the territory of the Kingdom of Ouroborous...
Damian had become the King of Earth, which he ruled and could do whatever he wanted with...
That really was crazy.
But little did any of them know that this was just the beginning of the craziness that was about to come for countless years...
"Thank God we didn't use the king's blood," Pietro Grimaldi muttered as he sighed.
By king's blood, he meant the ten vials containing drops of blood that the human progenitor Damian had given, seventy vials total, ten each to Maria and her seven sisters, Noah and Cara Ravenfang, Eric Walcrown, Pietro Grimaldi, David Harris, Yuki Nonaka, and Ana Sánchez.
Each of the vials contained a drop of his blood, with the potential to turn a being into a high human.
Damian gave them the vials so they could each choose ten humans and turn them into high humans, allowing them to create seven subsidiary factions, each ruled by one of them as the faction leader.
The ten high humans they chose would join their respective factions.
Damian did this because he wanted these subsidiary factions to handle the various problems that would arise on Earth, within the kingdom's population, and even against future threats, while he would be off doing his own things like training, cultivating, or conquering other worlds.
"Now we have more options. We could just go back to Earth and see whoever has the highest potential, then turn them into high humans using the progenitor's blood. This way, I'd have the strongest subordinates," Pietro Grimaldi said, rubbing his chin.
"…Is it really necessary to go around looking for whoever has the most potential for the subsidiary factions we're creating?" Ana Sánchez asked.
"Of course it is… the king would obviously favor the faction that has the most power. Do you think he's letting us create factions for nothing? He's growing his faction, which means there will be a lot of strong people coming along. If we don't keep ourselves useful by having more power than the others, we'll be left behind. The king might even lose interest in us, and we'll be stuck as weaklings for the rest of our lives," Eric Walcrown explained.
Actually, thinking about it, the other high humans couldn't help but realize that it was very much possible.
While this was happening in the First Tower Realm, something else was unfolding in various godly pantheons of the Lower Plane.
The sectors of the universe could be divided into two planes: the Higher Plane and the Lower Plane.
The Lower Plane was where Damian was currently located.
Every single race, like werewolves, dwarves, vampires, elves, high humans, and even various godly pantheons, existed there.
As for the Higher Plane, it was the part of the universe inhabited by beings born from the highest ranks, possessing immense power and godly potential, with authority over concepts so vast they made everything in the Lower Plane seem like child's play.
The gods of the Lower Plane were much weaker than those of the Higher Plane.
Even the weakest god in the Higher Plane would surpass the highest-ranking gods of the Lower Plane.
Similarly, the higher-ranking races of the Lower Plane, such as vampires and werewolves, were nothing compared to the races that existed in the Higher Plane.
Right now, all the gods from the various godly pantheons of the Lower Plane, including the God Kings, had taken notice of what was happening on Earth.
As previously established, gods relied on the energy they channeled from the universe through various concepts of reality.
These concepts could not exist without a population of beings in the universe who experienced them.
Humans, for example, had religions for gods and goddesses whom they prayed to, based on these concepts.
A human might pray to the god of wealth for prosperity, to a holy god like the Heavenly Father for blessings, or to a goddess of beauty for attractiveness.
As gods, they could feel these prayers because they were tied to the concepts mortals believed in.
The gods could influence change through these beliefs.
If the beings who followed a particular god were to disappear, the god would feel it because it would affect the energy they received from those concepts.
Losing one or two followers wouldn't mean much.
But imagine if billions of those followers were to simply disappear…
How much would that affect a god or goddess?
Right now, billions of those followers didn't die or simply vanish.
They changed their religion.
Billions of Superior Humans knelt down, facing the direction where they could feel the presence of their godly figure, the Human Progenitor.
It didn't matter how many kilometers away he was; every single Superior Human, in every corner of the Earth, could feel his presence in their minds, in their hearts, in their very being.
The Progenitor was like a god to their race.
So when the Superior Humans emerged from the cocoons of evolution, it didn't matter what god or goddess they had been devoted to before.
Once they felt the presence of their one and only divine figure, their Progenitor, every other god became meaningless.
It didn't matter how many years they had worshipped those gods, or how deeply they believed.
They no longer cared.
To them, the only god was their Progenitor.
When this happened, a large portion of belief in the gods and goddesses of various pantheons simply vanished.
And because this portion numbered in the billions, the gods and goddesses of the pantheons could no longer ignore it.
"A Progenitor?" the Heavenly Father, God King of the Biblical Pantheon, watched with wide eyes as he witnessed the emergence of the first Progenitor, a single being floating, surrounded by an ethereal aura, as billions of [Superior Humans] knelt in his direction.
"Such a providence.... how can a single being produce so much karma?" the Heavenly Father watched with a confused expression.
As a god associated with the concepts of creation, life, and holiness, he could see the karma and providence of the entire race of humans increasing rapidly, especially in the Earth or the Kingdom of Ouroboros.
Karma and providence are exploding in every direction.
