The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system-Chapter 207: Aggressive jealousy.
Caishen felt quite silly for being irrationally angry. This was unlike him but he was not very appreciative of the way she was laughing with Aang Yu Chen. He was another one with the right keys to her laugh factory. He had witnessed a few hahaha's while making his way to her.
"Ah, Aang, this is my husband, Zhang Caishen." Unaware of the emotional turmoil that Caishen was experiencing, Alix went on to introduce them to each other.
Caishen nodded stiffly, acknowledging his position. To further cement it, he took one of Alix's hands in his and interlocked their fingers.
His actions puzzled her a little bit but she didn't dwell on the reasoning behind them.
"Aang, you must give me your number. I am serious about TFK, and if it doesn't work out with them, I have booked you. In two or three months I will be starting a skin care company. I am going to book you in advance to be my exclusive face model. You have said jewelry is not your thing but skin cleansers, masks and little things like that should be okay, right?"
"Really," he said. His voice held a lot of interest.
He looked at her skin more observantly. To sell skin care products one had to have good skin first. He leaned his head forward to look at her from up close. Now, he noticed that her skin was radiant and flawless.
Suddenly, a hand was placed in front of Alix, blocking his view of her, especially the upper part of her face. Both Alix and Aang turned to the owner of the hand curiously.
"Hub...hubby." Alix called Caishen in an unsure voice. "What's wrong?"
He looked at her and said in a low and deep unhappy voice, "I am hungry."
When she looked into his eyes, she detected a heaviness in them and a hint of annoyance. His brows were furrowed and the corners of his mouth drooped downward, creating a subtle frown. He was definitely sulking.
Alix figured that she might as well end this re-union and cater to her husband. She took one of her business cards and slid it over to Aang.
She gestured, call me with her fingers and stood up.
"Hubby, let's go and get you fed."
She waved at Aang and a smile almost formed on her face but it quickly retreated when she met her husband's unhappy eyes.
Caishen gave Aang Yu one last cold look and turned his wheelchair around, holding on to Alix's hands with determination.
When they left, Aang wiped nonexistent sweat away from his forehead and sighed.
"I have never seen such passive aggressive jealousy." he thought.
He looked at the two business cards and smiled. Who knew that a trip to the hospital to see as friend would drop a business opportunity in his lap.

Alix had no choice but to follow Caishen back to the VIP ward, returning not even an hour after making her escape. She had all but lasted thirty minutes. She sighed sadly and hoped grandpa Zhang was already there with his wife to stop her from talking nonsense. If she had her mind on something else, she would not bother Alix with outrageous suggestions.
Caishen misinterpreted her weak little sighs to mean something else and he clenched his jaw.
"You are sighing so much, are you that unhappy to be away from him?" he bit out bitterly.
"Eh!" Alix's feet stopped moving and she exclaimed. "Me?" she asked.
The wheelchair continued moving, making it into the ward and she broke into a small run to catch up with it.
"Hubby, don't misunderstand me." she called out.
The rest of her explanation died on her lips when she saw the outrageous spread of food in the room. She had to blink a few times and scratch her eyes while shaking her head.
When she looked again, the impressive spread of a variety of foods on a long table that had not been there before was still there.
"How long have I been gone exactly?" she asked.
She turned her head from side to side, looking around the room. The adjoining door had been closed so grandma Zhang was not a part of this feast.
"Sit down here." Caishen pointed to the chair opposite him. Between that chair and himself was a small table with one single red rose in a vase.
This strangely resembled a date. But they were in a hospital so that couldn't be it. She scrubbed that thought out of her mind with an invisible mop and bleach. She didn't want to presume anything.
"Aren't you going to sit down?" he asked her.
Alix scratched the back of her head and twisted her face because she was confused. Grandma Zhang was right next door. Did she know that they were about to feast in here? Was this morally right?
Feeling a bit reluctant. she took a few hesitant steps towards him and sat down.
"What are we doing?" she asked him.
"We are having a a date." he said.
He grabbed a box of wet tissues from the table and pulled one out.
"Give me your hands."
She did as he asked. This was not new to her, him wiping her hands for her with a wet tissue.
"Uhm, a date..." she started saying and then hesitated for three seconds. "Why?" she blurted out finally.
He looked at her with raised brows as if she was asking a silly question. But Alix didn't think it was silly given the circumstances at hand.
"You asked for a real marriage, didn't you?" he responded.
She nodded her head once. "Mmm."
"I am your husband and as such I have a responsibility to you. We both have to do pleasant things for each other. Dates fall under that umbrella, don't they?"

"But," She said and looked at the adjoining door. "The timing is quite...." she tilted her head to the right with confusion renewed on her face.
He picked up a bottle of wine that was sitting on the ground and poured some into a glass for himself. As she was not a wine drinker, he pointed to a transparent glass bottle of fruit juice.
"Our lives will not come to a stop just because my father is alive and I have an illegitimate younger brother. As for grandmother, she has been given a clean bill of health. The doctors have said we can tonight itself but we will do so tomorrow after your family visits."
Alix got to her feet, and brought the juice bottle and a glass for herself.
"This still doesn't feel right." she said as she sat down again.
"Grandma is okay with it. In fact, she is very excited. She said something about this being the right step in moving along the planned actions from a conversation you two had earlier."
Alix was startled and the glass almost fell out of her hands.
"She told you. I already said no, it's not a good idea Caishen. I hope you backed me up." She looked at him with hopeful eyes.
"Well, I am unaware of the precise details of the conversation so I cannot back you up. What conversation did you have with her exactly?" his voice was quite curious.
