The 100 day celebration was even more grand than Alix and Caishen’s wedding, with so many important guests invited from both families to shower the babies with gifts.

"I have got it." she declared proudly.

Her words did not send the other relatives away, most of them remained close to the table actually hoping for another baby to cry.

Grandpa Tai was not as patient as the rest, he carried Tai Liwu away, ignoring the unhappy looks he received from other people. He was the only one that could pick the babies up and take them out as he pleased. Everyone else had to get past Caishen, Xiaobo and Alix’s brothers first.

"Sister....." Zhang An tugged on the arm of Alix’s dress. Her eyes gestured at the babies, she wanted to steal the remaining niece away.

With nothing left to watch over, Caishen pulled his wife to sit down and enjoy some idle time which they had a lot of since their home had not been empty from the day Alix gave birth.

One of their mothers, Nanny Luo, Wang Ma and the other aunties and grandmothers was always chasing the couple away because they wanted the babies all to themselves.

Alix chuckled and rubbed the top of his left thumb with her right hand pinky finger. She smiled and her heart was filled with great joy at the sound of her son’s laughter. She diverted her eyes and noticed grandpa Tai putting a floral crown on Liwu’s head, on another side Zhang An was slowly dancing with Zhang Alix.

The grandparents were shaking rattles for the other two babies, all children were healthy and happy and it was all that mattered.

"The babies are loved Caishen, our children are so blessed in many ways. As their mother, i cannot ask for anything more."

"I know." he leaned down and kissed the top of her head. "Still no word from Mafan?"

She shook her head, not a peep had been heard from that open communication channel which he promised to open.

"I guess he has not arrived at his home planet yet, i wonder where it is."

Alix looked up at the sky which was visible because the celebration was out in the gardens. Their eyes met the view of the light blue sky and light white clouds, searching for Mafan’s possible home planet beyond what the human eye could see.

"I have a strong feeling that he is going to come back. We gave him a family, nobody easily gives up a happy family." Caishen consoled her with his genuine opinion.

"I miss him." Alix whispered.

She sighed and looked away from the sky and back to the guests, not allowing herself dwell on any sad moments. It was a day to be happy, there was a lot to celebrate.

Looking out at all her family and friends whose lives had been changed thanks to Mafan, she felt proud rather than sad.

Jin Kang had met Du Fuzi’s family, Zhang An and Rongyan were engaged, Mantis had finally agreed to become Bo’s girlfriend after he made so many apologies.

Biming and his witch sister Ning were expecting a baby and planning to register their marriage the following week.
