Chapter 837: Chapter 837 Aren’t You the Same Cheap?
It was unclear whether it was because she hadn’t slept well last night, or her mood was still off, but Yang Qingyin clearly had no appetite.
Luo Ziling had ordered all her favorite dishes, but she hardly ate anything.
During the meal, she couldn’t help but yawn from time to time.
Seeing this, Luo Ziling couldn’t help but feel distressed, and his resentment towards Ouyang Huihui deepened a notch.
He decided that after returning to Yanjing, he would settle the scores with Ouyang Huihui for good.
All he could do was to keep saying nice things to comfort Yang Qingyin, trying to cheer her up.
Yang Qingyin ate so little, and no matter how much Luo Ziling urged her, she had no appetite. In the end, Luo Ziling could only decide to pack up some of the dishes Yang Qingyin liked to eat, along with some rice, thinking that after she had slept and woke up feeling better, he could reheat them for her or take her out for a late-night snack.
When it was time to settle the bill and leave, Luo Ziling became infuriated to discover that Yang Xiaodong and Wang Zhenjun had indeed charged their dinner to him, claiming they didn’t bring any money.
“Young master comrade, we definitely won’t bother you tonight. Ye Xiaoli won’t show up either. Whatever you want to do, no problem,” Yang Xiaodong said to Luo Ziling in a sleazy manner as they were leaving, and the expression on his face while saying this was truly punchable.
When Yang Qingyin left, her face turned cold again, but that happened only after she saw Yang Xiaodong and Wang Zhenjun.
“Want to go out for a bit?” Luo Ziling suggested softly as they walked out of the hotel.
“No,” Yang Qingyin declined promptly. “I want to go back and sleep. I’m dead tired.”
“Okay,” Luo Ziling didn’t insist, “I’ll accompany you back.”
Yang Qingyin didn’t respond and kept walking ahead.
Luo Ziling quickly caught up and draped his arm over Yang Qingyin’s shoulder.
The weather was very cold, Lucheng was more humid than Yanjing, so the cold felt even more biting. Yang Qingyin subconsciously shrank her body as she walked out of the hotel. When Luo Ziling pulled her into his broad chest and fastened the top button of her trench coat for her, it was comforting.
Because of this small gesture, Yang Qingyin felt a little comforted and did not try to break free from his embrace.
As they headed back, Luo Ziling kept on talking, but Yang Qingyin didn’t pay attention, and Luo Ziling didn’t mind.
They quickly returned to the hotel, and as Yang Qingyin used her room card to open the door, she pushed Luo Ziling outwards.
“You go, head back to your own hotel and don’t disturb my sleep.”
Of course, Luo Ziling did not heed her, holding Yang Qingyin as he entered the room.
By the time the door closed with a bang, he had already carried Yang Qingyin onto the bed.
Before Yang Qingyin could get up, Luo Ziling’s body pressed down on her.
“How about this, take a bath first, then I can give you a massage,” Luo Ziling suggested softly, looking down at Yang Qingyin.
“No way, I don’t want you around,” Yang Qingyin pouted slightly, looking quite aggrieved.
However, upon seeing Luo Ziling’s injured lips, she couldn’t help but want to laugh, yet she forcibly held it back.
At that moment, Luo Ziling’s phone rang, and it was a message from Ouyang Feifei. He hesitated for a moment but still answered it.
“Ziling, where are you?” Ouyang Feifei’s voice, slightly tender, came from the phone.
Luo Ziling glanced guiltily at Yang Qingyin, who was listening attentively, and replied to Ouyang Feifei, “I’m not at school. Is something the matter?”
“Huihui did something foolish last night. I spoke to her today, and she explained what happened. If you have time, come over to discuss it. She’s here with me.” Ouyang Feifei’s tone didn’t change as she spoke, “I’ll ask Wang Qing to pick you up.”
“I’m busy right now, just tell me over the phone,” said Luo Ziling, relieved, no longer feeling guilty.
“We should talk about it in person. If you don’t have time today, then tomorrow,” Ouyang Feifei softened her tone a little, “It’s just her being petty. After she developed feelings for you, she got angry about how close you are with Yang Qingyin. Not only did she send messages and photos from your phone to Yang Qingyin, but she also sent them to me. She’s already admitted her mistake, and I hope she can apologize to you and Yang Qingyin face to face.”
“I won’t apologize to them,” Ouyang Huihui’s voice, angry and upset, came from the phone. “Sis, stop talking to him. I’ll explain it to him myself later; don’t interfere in this.”
“Tell Ouyang Huihui I’m waiting for her to take the initiative to explain,” Luo Ziling sighed in relief, unwilling to say anything more in front of Yang Qingyin, “Yang Qingyin is missing. I’m currently searching the whole world for her. I’ll contact you after I find her.”
At the other end of the phone, Ouyang Feifei was startled and immediately asked, “Do you need my help?”
“No,” Luo Ziling rejected plainly, “That’s all for now, I’m busy. We’ll talk another time.”

With that, not waiting for Ouyang Feifei’s response, he hung up the phone.
Ouyang Feifei, not expecting Luo Ziling to reject her kindness, felt a little wronged and a bit angry.
Of course, she immediately vented her anger on Ouyang Huihui.
“By doing this, even if you succeeded, what could you have gained?” Ouyang Feifei looked coldly at Ouyang Huihui, speaking bluntly, “Do you think after this, Luo Ziling will still regard you, will still treat you as a friend? You’ve ruined everything.”
“You’re just afraid he will take his anger out on you, aren’t you?” Ouyang Huihui looked at Ouyang Feifei with disdain, “Too bad, I ran out of strength last night. Otherwise, I would have already sealed the deal. If I had his first time, I would be better than all of you. Humph!”
“I’m going to tell grandfather about this,” Ouyang Feifei said with a frosty face, “and you can explain it to him yourself.”
Hearing that Ouyang Feifei was going to tell their grandfather, Ouyang Huihui suddenly panicked a bit.
But after thinking for a moment, she still toughened up, “Tell him then, tell him. At most, I’ll be kicked out of the house. Humph, if that happens, I’ll just throw myself away, mingling with different boys every day. When the Ouyang Family’s reputation is tarnished, let’s see what you’ll do.”
“If you’re willing to degrade yourself like that, then I can’t stop you,” Ouyang Feifei ignored Ouyang Huihui’s threat, “When Luo Ziling comes back, I’ll explain it to him with you. I hope this affair won’t affect the relationship between the Ouyang Family and the Luo Family.”
“I’ll explain it to him myself; I don’t need you there,” Ouyang Huihui’s stubborn streak emerged.
“No, you must have me there.”
“I don’t need you, and that’s that,” Ouyang Huihui glared at Ouyang Feifei aggressively, not backing down, “Just because you can’t compete with Yang Qingyin, why take it out on me? You think I’m cheap, aren’t you just as cheap yourself?”
Ouyang Huihui’s words instantly changed Ouyang Feifei’s expression.
