There's No Love In the Deathzone (BL)-Chapter 447 - 440. Wings
Chapter 447: Chapter 440. Wings
"Mngh..." Zein wriggled when he felt the sunlight upon him and winced. It took him a while to remember that they didn’t close the window at all last night because...
Bassena was fucking him against the window so he could look at the ocean as much as he wanted.
Not that he could concentrate beyond anything past his ass and his dick at some point.
He blinked and looked at Bassena, who was completely awake and was watching him wordlessly with a smile on his face. Even in his half-awake state, he could easily tell that the esper was on the peak of happiness. It tickled his heart with warmth, and Zein pushed his tired body to climb atop the surprised esper. He gave his morning greeting in the form of kisses to the esper’s cheek and neck.
"What? Do you want to go again?" Bassena chuckled while stroking the black hair, but Zein stopped and laid his head on the bare shoulder, laying nonchalantly above the esper’s warm body.
"No," he mumbled against the bronze skin. "Well, not now, at least. Let’s do it again when the sun gets higher."
Bassena laughed. A completely joyous laugh also shook Zein’s chest because he was lying on top of the esper. He pulled the blanket to cover both of them again, and rested his hands on Zein’s waist and back, stroking it soothingly.
"So you’re serious when you said we won’t leave the room?"
"Have I ever not delivered what I promised?" ƒreewebηoveℓ.com
"Well, I thought you’d give up after you fainted last night."
Ah, yes. He did faint. It was rather embarrassing for Zein to faint from too much pleasure. Not even because he was too exhausted, but because it felt too damn good and overwhelming.
How many times did he come yesterday? He had no idea. And it wasn’t just semen he splurted out in the end. Getting railed facing the window, while his vision was filled with the sky and the ocean was...amazing. Exhilarating. He felt like he was flying, and it made him think about having sex in the sky and he clenched hard at that, which made Bassena thrust even harder in response. The thought of fucking in the sky immediately got shoved away by the real fucking he experienced right then. And when Bassena pressed on his abdomen from outside, his mind ceased thinking about anything but asking for the esper to do it more. It was the first time he squirted in his life, and to do it while he was on the ocean was...rather fitting he must say.
But then again, now that he thought about it, fucking in the sky was way too unethical for someone who might watch from below. Except...well, if they did it on a plane. Yeah...that could work. They could do it on their way back to Althrea...
"What are you thinking about?" Bassena asked when Zein just lay there with a blank expression.
"Having sex on a plane..."
Pfft--Bassena chuckled and pulled Zein slightly up so they could kiss. "You became even more perverted than me nowadays."
"You just thought I was a prude," Zein scoffed. "I did it in way dirtier places than you ever--"
"Nope nope nope I’m not listening," Bassena shook his head and covered his ears. Of course he knew Zein had had sex with others before meeting him, just like he also had some before meeting Zein. But still...knowing it vaguely and hearing the details were two different things.
Zein laughed and kissed the tightly shut eyes. "Cute," he commented lightly before climbing off the esper. He didn’t get away though, just putting on some clothes so they could have breakfast later, before diving back into the bed for a grown man who wanted more cuddle.
When he took out his clothes from the storage ring earlier, Zein suddenly remembered something that seemed to be left forgotten inside Bassena’s storage ring. "Hey, aren’t you going to open the chest?"
Ever since Bassena put the chest given by the Princess inside his ring, Zein had never seen it again. Afterward, he was so distracted by the seafood and the ocean that he completely forgot. It didn’t seem to be the case for Bassena, however, who didn’t look like someone who had just forgotten something important.
In fact, the esper looked rather doubtful.
"What is it?" Zein propped his head with his elbow and brushed the platinum hair away from Bassena’s forehead. He thought the esper would be excited about his mother’s stuff, but...
"I don’t know, I just..." Bassena sighed. "I’m kind of...scared?"
"Scared..."
"I don’t understand it myself, just..." Bassena bit his lips. "It’s a part of my mother I don’t know."
"Hmm..."
Zein wondered if it was the same as how he was scared of knowing who his parents were before. Would they be the assholes he always thought, would they actually be decent people? Would it change the way he had been seeing them?
Perhaps, Bassena feared that opening the chest would change his view toward the mother he always knew.
"Well, it’s up to you," Zein said, stroking the scar above the sharp eyebrow. "Whether you want to open it or not, or whether you want to do it alone or together."
"Together..." Bassena looked at the gentle gaze that was akin to a calm, deep ocean. "I think...I can do it if we open it together."
Zein smiled and kissed the esper lightly before getting up and patting the mattress. Bassena took out the chest and placed it there, but he only looked at it wordlessly without touching it further.
"Should we order room service while at it?" Zein tilted his head, and Bassena chuckled before putting his hand on the chest and clicking the lock open.
Unconsciously, Zein also held his breath as he looked inside the chest. Funny, since there was nothing worth to be anxious for inside. There were trinkets, accessories--rings, bangles, pendants, and many more. Each one of them was different and crude, probably good enough to be sold in the yellow-zone and below, but definitely not good enough to be called a quality product despite the good materials.
But it was understandable since it was stuff made by an inspiring artisan, not a professional one. Everything looked old and out of fashion, but the fact that it still looked decent meant the material was good and someone was keeping it clean.
Of course, it was probably thanks to the Princess.
Bassena scooped some of them in his hands and...laughed. Contrary to his hesitation before, he looked at the trinkets with amusement.
"Why?"
"My mother will be embarrassed if she looks at these things now," he chuckled. "She’ll tell me to bury this where no one will be able to see."
"Will you?"
Bassena smiled. "Fortunately, she can’t order me to do that now, can she?"
"What a bad son, keeping his mother’s humiliation like this," Zein shook his head, but there was a smile on his lips.
He felt glad that Bassena seemed to be having fun observing each of the trinkets there. The anxiety presented earlier could no longer be seen as the esper chuckled at those who were deformed or looked like failed products.
And then, after a while, he muttered softly. "She had always been wanting to run away."
Zein raised his brow. "How do you know?"
As an answer, Bassena put a few things on Zein’s palm; a ring, a pair of earrings, a pendant, a brooch. All of them had different designs, stones, and materials, but there was something similar in all of them; wings.
There was a wing or a pair of wings as part of their design.
"Art represents what’s inside the artist’s heart," Bassena said with a rather bitter smile. "She must have been wanting to run away for a long time. Even without that marriage arrangement, eventually..."
Art represented the artists, huh...Zein tilted his head as he leaned back and stared at Bassena. He wondered then, what was represented by Bassena’s ’art’? The stakes, the snake, the...children?
"Oh?"
Bassena’s surprised voice ended Zein’s thought and he looked back at the chest, where Bassena had rummaged deep into the bottom. He took out a small notebook and patted the surface. It was rather plain, with a leather cover and silver decoration on the edges.
"What is that? A diary?" Zein asked curiously.
"I think so?" Bassena opened the notebook randomly to a page and froze. He blinked and laughed soundlessly until his shoulder shook. Zein peeked at the page curiously and saw nothing but lines upon lines of cursed words.
"Feisty," Zein nodded. "I see how you’re her son."
It was probably the biggest proof that the mother Bassena knew and the girl named Svadiva was still the same feisty, energetic person.
Bassena laughed audibly now, looking like he was having even more fun than when he looked at the trinkets. He held the notebook as if it were more precious than anything and looked at Zein. "Can I...read this first?"
"Sure," Zein shrugged and leaned on the esper. "I just said we won’t leave the room, not that we have to fuck like rabbits all the time."
Bassena raised his brow, glancing at the black hair strewn on his shoulder. "Are you sure?"
"I mean...we’ll still do it later, right?
"Pervert."
