The moon set, and the sun rose.

The next day at 07:00 am, Ren practiced martial arts in the backyard alone.

"What are you doing?" she inquired.

"Test? Illusion world? What are you talking about? Are you still sleeping now?" the other orphans comforted her when she was sad, so Scarlett had already lost more than half of her real memories.

There were two conditions for the participants to lose their real memories.

First, they would lose their real memories faster if they interacted with the people created by the illusion world.

And lastly, the longer they stayed in the illusion world, the more they would forget their real memories.

In other words, they could not stop the illusion world from taking their real memories.

They could only slow it down.

He forgot another memory when Sofia smiled softly at him.

"Thank you for bringing him to me, Scarlett." Sofia did not scold him as she knew his personality.

Scarlett stopped holding his right hand and spoke, "Then, I will play with other orphans now."

Right after she walked out of the living room, Sofia began talking to Ren. Ren tried his best to end the conversation quickly, but his efforts were in vain.

After around ten minutes, they finally stopped talking.

Ren went straight to his room after that.

However, he only wrote to the sixth form because other awakeners could see him through the projector.

He closed the book and practiced martial arts again.

As Ren and Scarlett were chatting in the backyard, twenty bad guys in black went to the orphanage.

"Remember, kill all the caretakers and kidnaps the orphans." The blue-haired man named Eddie spoke abruptly. "There are sixty-five orphans in that orphanage. We will be rich if we can kidnap them all."

They were from Dusk organization, one of the evil organizations in Shinya City.

They kidnapped children and sold them to someone or some groups.

They had been in this business for ten years, and Kindred Hearts Orphanage was their hundredth target.

"Don’t worry, leader. We will not let any child escape from us." The yellow-haired man stated.

"That’s right. We will kidnap them all." The others said in unison.

"Good!" Eddie liked their answer. "We will hold a party after we kidnap them."

His subordinates became more enthusiastic and happier because they liked the party.

Shortly after that, they arrived at Kindred Hearts Orphanage.

They parked their cars in the front yard of the orphanage. They were not afraid of anything because no one could stop them in Shinya City.

"Who are you?" One of the caretakers was furious when four cars broke into their orphanage.

Eddie got out of the car and shouted, "Kill the caretakers and kidnap the orphans."

His subordinates listened to his order and got out of the cars.

With this, the first test for Ren and Scarlett had officially begun.
