Trapped In A Novel As The Breeding Mate For Four Powerful Alphas-Chapter 101: I slept well and I have you to thank
Chapter 101: I slept well and I have you to thank
I had woken up that morning to find all three of them still in bed with me.
It was the first time. They usually woke up before me and left me to roll around till I was ready to wake up and start my day, but today, they decided to stay.
It felt like this was going to be a day to infringe on my personal space because they missed me so much.
Gosh, didn’t they have work or something? Why were they still with me?
I bet they decided to skip work for the day and leave the brunt to their enslaved secretaries. Honestly, sucks to be them.
I can tell it’s hard to have a very capable boss, only for them to dump the crazy workload on them, giving them no room to complain.
How would they cope?
Once again, it sucks to be them.
That aside, I think I need to buy a camera. These men looked so fine even when they were peacefully asleep.
There was a sweet lingering scent in the air. The scent wasn’t just from one source but three, and I realized it was their Pheromones.
When they were so peacefully asleep, their violent Pheromones became rather gentle. freeweɓnøvel.com
The scent of a flower field, spring, and raindrops. Wait, do raindrops even have a scent? Anyway, that was how the scent came off to me.
And mixed together, they made a rather enchanting combination.
It was a scent I wanted to drown myself in for a while, but I couldn’t because they ended up waking up one at a time after sending my small movements.
The first to wake up was Min-Cheol. I think he woke up first because he was the one tied to my body, so my movements were more like a nudge to get him to open his eyes.
"Hyung?" He called, rubbing his eyes.
Gah, he was so cute.
"Good morning," I greeted with a warm smile. "Sorry, did I wake you?" I asked in a soft whisper, hoping not to wake the rest.
"It’s okay," he said, smiling brightly. "I’m glad."
What was he glad about?
Before long, Jin-Yeok woke up, and Ki-hoon also woke up, almost at the same time.
"Good morning," I greeted them both. "Did you sleep well?"
"Thanks to you," Ki-hoon said, planting a kiss on my cheek, and I gulped.
The pressure was too much. Why were they being so touchy? If one of them did it, the other two would certainly want to do it as well.
"Good morning, Jo-Pil." Jin-Yeok said, smiling at me, and I nodded.
His face looked bright. It would seem that he slept well. I reached my hand towards his face and caressed his face softly.
At least he didn’t have nightmares.
Jin-Yeok was a bit stunned by my action, but he got over it quickly and held my hand, pulling it to his lips as he said,
"I slept well and I have you to thank," he kissed my hand, and my face flushed.
"Ahem," I cleared my throat.
Let’s not think too much about it. He was handsome, I know. But if I continued like this, I would definitely get pulled into their tussle.
So, I decided to change the subject.
"By the way, I was wondering where my phone was?" I asked. "I didn’t see it next to me after waking up and I... Well," I wasn’t about to say I wanted to check my account balance so that I’d be able to smile with glee in my heart after seeing the numbers.
I’d just seem like a gold digger. Though they probably wouldn’t mind.
"I have it in my room," Ki-hoon responded. "Nothing happened to it, and your bank card is safe as well." He said, and I sighed in relief with my hand pressed lightly to my chest.
"That’s nice to hear," I said, and watched him smile proudly. Dude, that wasn’t even a compliment.
I sat up, but Min-Cheol still had his arms around me. It seemed like he wanted to sleep more, so he hugged my waist and lay his head on my lap.
Had he been sleep-deprived? I wondered as I stroked his hair softly. He did sound like he was very worried when he came to my room and talked about the book.
He seemed fine, but I could tell he wasn’t.
"Is there a specific reason you asked for your phone?" Jin-Yeok asked, sitting up as well, and I nodded.
"I was going to ask for your numbers so I can reach you when you’re not here." I said. "I already have Hyung’s number."
"I’ll definitely give you my number." Min-Cheol said, and I smiled down at him.
Even with his eyes closed, he was still taking part in the conversation.
"I’ll also give you my number." Jin-Yeok said.
"Alright, thank you."
I would add them to the group chat. It seemed like they had all moved into the mansion while I was unconscious, but I would prefer it if they took their jobs seriously and not try to share my personal space every hour and every minute.
Ahem.
They talked about a few other things, but did not bring up the fact that they were all at home and not where they were supposed to be. In the office.
That reminded me of the cooperation between the Lee and Kang groups.
These two were lazying around with me. What happened to their cooperation? If my calculations were correct, then the signing was supposed to be taking place in two weeks, so why were they so lax?
"We postponed it." Ki-hoon said, and my mouth fell in shock.
They did ’WHAT’?
So carelessly?
"We didn’t know when you would wake up, Hyung." Min-Cheol said, and I looked down at him. "We couldn’t fully concentrate. Plus, we wanted you to be there when we made history, so it just wasn’t right to continue while you were unconscious."
I went silent. I felt guilty. But at the same time, I felt they were idiots.
Love does make a man go blind, but it makes them go crazy and irrational as well.
I’m not saying they’re in love with me yet, but whatever feelings they had at the moment were making them make the wrong decisions.
How could they postpone that life-changing event? It was as if they were giving their enemies more time to perfect their plans.
Why were they such idiots?
Surely they knew that there would be some sort of plot to sabotage the cooperation, so why did they still act so recklessly?
If I tried to understand them, I would only be giving myself a headache. Let’s leave it.
As long as I’m aware of who their enemies are, then it shouldn’t be too much of a problem. I’ll just prevent it.
"Phew," I sighed. "I need to go brush my teeth," I said, and Jin-Yeok started getting out of the bed.
Min-Cheol let go as well and I got down but as soon as my feet touched the ground, Min-Cheol held me again.
Jeez, was he going to be this clingy the whole time?
He wrapped his arms around me from behind, dropping his head on my shoulder, and followed me to the bathroom. Not just him. Jin-Yeok and Ki-hoon also followed me, and I felt I would go mad any time soon.
Why were they following me? Did they want to watch me brush my teeth?
"What are you doing?" I asked them. "Shouldn’t you go brush your teeth as well?"
"That’s what we’re going to do." Jin-Yeok said with a friendly smile, and my gaze traveled to Ki-hoon. "We’re going to brush our teeth."
Ki-hoon nodded his head without saying anything, and I turned my head to the bathroom door, feeling my skull twitch. Haa, don’t tell me...
