Unholy Player-Chapter 79: Aqualith
Chapter 79: Aqualith
"It gives motion to the water... makes it move, turning it into water slime?" Adyr tried to piece together the Spark’s connection to motion when a system message finally appeared before him.
[Name] Aqualith
[Path] Ignis
[Rank] 2
[Ability] Liquid Spawn / Hydropulse Core
Description: Aqualiths, one of the ancestors of the giant beasts, typically feed on high-motion waters such as rivers and streams. Their massive bodies and short limbs can be misleading, but they are surprisingly fast and fond of travel, though only when well-fed. Once they find a viable source, they often remain there for months or even years, staying until the waters are completely drained.
Ability—Liquid Spawn / Hydropulse Core: These Sparks are fond of comfort and particularly dislike being disturbed while feeding. To maintain a relaxed environment, they use Liquid Spawn on the waters they consume, imbuing them with motion and summoning soldier-class slimes known for their high defense and resistance to physical attacks.
Additionally, they constantly store the active motion of the water they feed on within their bodies. This stored kinetic energy is released in sudden bursts, allowing them to reach high speeds almost instantly—a trait powered by their Hydropulse Core.
"So this makes sense now." Reading the description, Adyr finally understood. A creature of that size, moving at such high speed, would be difficult to handle.
After observing the area for a while longer, he turned to Vesha and said, "I need to sleep... just half an hour or so." Then, he walked back toward the carriage. ƒгeewёbnovel.com
Siris and the other soldiers didn’t question the decision. To them, it was simply a warrior preparing himself before a major battle.
Vesha, aware of his curse and the need for frequent rest, agreed without hesitation and took it upon herself to ensure his sleep would be undisturbed.
"Commander Siris," she called, ready to give instructions—but Siris answered before she could continue.
"Don’t worry, Lady Vesha. We’ll secure the area." As a trained soldier, Siris understood her duty immediately. She began issuing silent commands, and within minutes, preparations were made to ensure not even the slightest sound would disturb Adyr’s rest.
The only sounds left in the environment were the soft brush of the wind against the dry grass and the pounding hearts of the soldiers.
All of them stood in quiet anticipation, ready to witness a battle that would likely find its place in the history books before long.

"You’re early this time, Mr. Adyr."
As he stepped out of the game capsule, the doctor and nurse greeted him with surprise. It had only been an hour since he left, and his sudden return made them suspect something had gone wrong.
"Yeah, I need to deal with something. I’ll be back in about twenty minutes," Adyr replied calmly. Without offering any further explanation, he left the playroom, took the elevator down one floor, and returned to his room.
He first opened a new thread and wrote about the recent findings he had uncovered in the children’s books he had been reading. Then, in a hidden thread, he provided a more detailed analysis to earn additional merit points.
Once that was done, he entered the shop section and began purchasing supplies for the upcoming battle.
He currently had 215 merits, and he had decided to spend them on explosives.
He specifically looked for the cheapest yet effective options, and soon found exactly what he was looking for.
"It has almost the same structure as C4 from my old world," he muttered, reading through the name and description.
X112. It was a plastic explosive with water-resistant properties, specifically designed for demolishing underwater structures. It also came with a built-in timer, functioning like a grenade, which added to its tactical value. He watched several promotional videos under the listing, and seeing how even the smallest fragments produced significant destruction, he made his decision without hesitation.
His primary reason for purchasing it was to deal with water slimes. Killing them with just his blades took too long and consumed too much stamina. On top of that, he had no way of knowing when the Aqualith lurking in the background would strike. He couldn’t afford to waste time fighting slimes.
At one merit per unit, he bought 115 and reserved the remaining 100 for emergencies. He placed the order with the express delivery option. Fortunately, express delivery didn’t require extra merit points—at least not for common, pre-stocked equipment like this.
Roughly ten minutes later, there was a knock at his door. Checking the digital display above it, Adyr saw two individuals in lab coats standing outside.
"Your order, Mr. Adyr."
One of them wheeled a small cart into the room and, without wasting time, left as soon as the delivery was complete.
Adyr opened the box and examined the neatly arranged explosives, each about the size of his palm. After confirming the contents, he spent one unit of energy to transfer all of them into the Dawn Land.
It was the highest energy cost he had paid for a single transfer, equivalent to a level 2 crystal—but it was a price worth paying. He would recover the cost soon enough.
With that done, he left the room and returned to the playroom.

When he opened his eyes again, Vesha was quietly waiting inside the carriage, watching him.
"Hey," Adyr said, meeting her gaze as she smiled.
She looked different from when he had first seen her. Her health had fully recovered, and beneath the slightly revealing white dress she wore, the scar on her chest was gone. Her glossy blonde hair seemed even more radiant, her ice-blue eyes deeper, and her flawless skin smooth like silk, without a single blemish.
"Do you want to eat something?" Vesha asked, opening an ornate box that looked like it was carved from fine wood. Inside were neatly arranged rice rolls, prepared with care. Her thoughtfulness and attention to detail made her feel almost like perfect wife material.
"Sure," Adyr said, taking one and tasting it. The flavor surprised even him. The vegetables were fresher and more flavorful than anything he’d eaten back on Earth.
After emptying the box and finishing a cup of the flavored tea Vesha had prepared, he stepped out of the carriage.
Outside, the soldiers stood ready—tense, alert, and fully focused. As Adyr looked over them, he mapped the plan in his head.
It was time to collect some crystals.
