Once I had chosen Braveblitz, Nova, and Aurora and unified them into a single Card, the last Familiar I chose was… Quite obviously the strongest being available.

Once the Grimoire had swallowed the card and assimilated it completely, it produced it anew form within its own pages.

I grabbed and then raised the card, as a bright light emerged from it for a second, it required no Mana, but I could immediately tell this thing would gladly drain all of my Mana to be summoned once.

It wasn't a monster that could be summoned at all by normal means, so it better not die…

Well, would it even die to begin with?

FLAAASH!

The card itself exploded into bright red and black light, spreading everywhere around the completely white space.

I noticed 0-10 glancing at me calmly, she didn't even panic or feel any fear, despite the strangely dreadful sensation spreading everywhere.

"Hahah, this is quite something."

Out of nowhere, we found ourselves within a completely black, abyssal world.

Yes, the world before ended, and a new world of darkness started in an instant.

This darkness was nothing but this monster's very presence.

After all, she wasn't qualified as n "Eldritch type" for nothing.

The closest being to an Outer God I'll ever have as my Familiar… Perhaps a monster that would have eventually become one if she hadn't been stopped by me and the many friends I made in that trial.

Once she devoured the entire universe, what would have stopped her from becoming as big as it was?

I don't know exactly how Outer Gods are born, but I knew that such a method would have been possible, she was already supernatural beyond being a mere parasitic alien.

"Where are we?!" Braveblitz wondered. "This presence…! Don't tell me this is…?!"

RUMBLE!

The darkness surrounding us trembled constantly, as it poured out everywhere and began to rapidly take the shape of hundreds of crimson eyes and fleshy tentacles.

"YOU…"

And I heard her voice, reverberating through my mind. No, our minds, I am fairly sure they also heard her speaking.

"YOU DARE… BELIEVE YOU CAN CONTROL ME?"

"Oh?"

I looked around, as countless tentacles wrapped around my entire body, but I felt no force or power behind them aside from that.

The hundreds of crimson eyes glared at me furiously, the world around us had become a aberrant, formless monstrosity.

"AFTER YOU KILLED ME… AFTER YOU DESTROYED MY ENTIRE LEGACY! YOU TRULY BELIEVE YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH IT?!"

"Ah, you seem mad, Xenoid Queen."

Her gigantic jaws appeared across the darkness, opening and showing sharp teeth as she talked to me.

"I DON'T KNOW WHAT METHODS YOU USE TO BRING ME BACK… BUT I WILL MAKE SURE YOU REGRET THEM UNTIL THE LAST DAY OF YOUR LIFE!"

She sounded furious and intimidating, and yet I couldn't feel a single amount of murderous intent from her.

In fact, she simply couldn't release any.

Nor she could kill me or do anything to harm me either.

She was my Familiar, and so such things were instinctual, perhaps she herself hasn't realized it yet.

"I will regret it, huh? Well, I don't think so."

"HAH?! YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST-"

"Enough with this, Xenoid Queen. I know you hate me, but this is not the way of doing things. You are now my Familiar, act like one."

"DON'T THINK YOU CAN ORDER ME AROUND YOU DAMN HUMAN! I WILL MAKE SURE YOU- UGH?!"

When she tried to kill me, she was unable to do so, her tentacles were not capable of tightening enough to go for the kill.

Her eyes glowed as she tried firing a laser beam, but it didn't work either.

"T-THIS IS…! DAMMIT!"

She quickly let go of me, rushing towards Braveblitz.

"I'LL KILL YOU, DAMN PIECE OF JUNK!"

"Ugh?!"

Braveblitz was caught off-guard, as a giant tentacle rushed towards him, about to crush him.

And yet…

"AH…?!"

She gasped, unable to harm him either, no matter how hard she tried, she simply couldn't do it, something, an invisible force bound her body to do specific things.

"I already told you, Xenoid Queen, as long as you're my familiar you're bound to do as I say, and to never harm me or anybody that I deem not worth of harm. Even if you tried killing my friends it won't work, even if I am not even there."

"W-WHAT…?!"

"I don't want to say that you're my slave… We can work together for mutual benefits."

"YOU THINK I'LL COOPERATE?!"

"Lower your voice and talk nicer to me."

"Hah! As if I would ever obey such a small and easy to obey request, my dear master- EH?!"

Her voice became much sweeter and calmer, and she wasn't screaming into my mind anymore either.

She even called me "dear master" without even intending to.

Okay this might be a bit hilarious.

I hated her and her damn children so much; I just wanted them gone forever.

But maybe this isn't so bad either!

"Good, that's the proper tone of voice you have to use with me, Xenoid Queen," I nodded. "Well, not too nice, it felt weird that you called me dear master."

"I-I am not your puppet!"

She kept complaining but she could simply not do anything to fight back.

"T-This is…! No…! My glorious… Family…! I was about to conquer the entire universe! And now… And now I am stuck like this?! I cannot… I cannot believe this!"

As she kept complaining, the darkness where we were located slowly dissipated, revealing her true appearance.

She shrank more than I imagined.
