The group from the Laver Empire were confused to hear this, but they still followed Lin Fan into the dungeon.

However, he didn't lead them to the place that he said he would.

Instead, he led them into a corridor that led right to the entrance of the dungeon.

Though the corridor was actually behind the walls of the dungeon and one could see into the dungeon through holes in the wall that would appear with a thought.

But he didn't lead them right to the entrance of the dungeon.

Instead, he brought them to a place that was near the entrance of the dungeon.

It wasn't right at the entrance, it was a little further in.

This was a place where those that entered the dungeon would start to encounter the monsters that were here.

Though the monsters that they encountered weren't that strong.

There was a reason why this was considered a D Rank Dungeon after all. There was a level to the monsters that were here, or else it wouldn't have received this ranking.

It was a place where the monsters shouldn't pose any threat to any adventurers that came into this dungeon since most adventurers were D Rank to begin with. The only ones that were E and F Rank were those that were in training, but they would come with higher ranked adventurers.

There wouldn't be anyone that would struggle against these monsters.

However, it seemed like there was someone that seemed to be struggling against these monsters.

"Help, please help me!"

This person was completely alone without a single other person nearby.

But that was actually quite strange.

With the number of people that were diving into the dungeon, it was impossible that there wouldn't be anyone nearby. Especially since this was near the entrance of the dungeon that had the highest traffic out of any place in the dungeon.

The only reason that there was no one around was if someone deliberately made it so that there was no one else that was able to come near this place.

This was exactly what this person had done.

When Lin Fan showed this person to the group from the Laver Empire, they all had ugly looks on their faces.

That was because they immediately recognized the person that was crying for help.

In fact, this person was the one that they had come looking for in the first place.

So for them to see this person acting this way…well it wasn't a pretty sight.

There was a part of them that even wanted to dig themselves into a hole and hide their faces, but there was nowhere for them to do such a thing.

In the end, the only thing that they could do was turn to Lin Fan and ask, "Please stop her."

Lin Fan and Rokuko looked at each other with bitter smiles before they suddenly opened a door in the dungeon wall.

If it was anyone else that was here, they would have never done this.

It was only because the person that was calling out for help was Haku that they decided to create this hole in the wall to stop her. And when Haku saw the two of them appear, she stopped calling out for help.

The monsters that had been around her looked at Lin Fan and Rokuko as if they were asking for their help, but Haku just completely ignored this as her eyes were on a certain someone.

Of course it wasn't Lin Fan that she was looking at.

The only one that could catch Haku's eyes was Rokuko.

The moment that Haku saw Rokuko, she stopped crying out for help and stood up to come to Rokuko's side.

Before Rokuko could even react, she grabbed her in her arms and said with a wide smile, "My saviour!"

Rokuko looked at Lin Fan for help, but there really wasn't anything that Lin Fan could do about this. Even if he wanted to help, it wasn't as if he would be able to stop Haku from doing what she wanted to do.

She was stronger than him in the first place, so it was unlikely he could stop her with force.

At the same time, it wasn't as if she would ever listen to anything that he said, so he wouldn't be able to stop her with words.

The only thing that they could do now was…

"Just endure it for now." That was the meaning of the look that Lin Fan gave Rokuko.

After a while, Haku finally let go of Rokuko and turned to glare at Lin Fan.

Though the ones that she was really looking at was the group from the Laver Empire that stepped out from behind Lin Fan. They all looked at her with helpless looks, but it was clear that they were determined to take her back.

Only Haku didn't seem like she was ready to go back yet. frёeweɓηovel.coɱ

Instead of acknowledging the group from the Laver Empire, she turned to Lin Fan to say, "Let's go and have a talk in a private place."

Lin Fan was surprised to hear Haku suggest this, but eventually he nodded in agreement.

It wasn't that he wanted to do this, but he knew that Haku wouldn't bring something like this up that easily. That was unless there was something that she wanted from him.

So with a sigh and a shake of his head, Lin Fan said, "Follow me."

Then leading the way, he brought her and the group from the Laver Empire to the core of this dungeon.

This wasn't a place that he would bring others to, but it was fine to bring Haku here.

Once they were here, the group from the Laver Empire started asking a few questions before Haku could say anything. However, the questions that they asked surprised Lin Fan since he didn't expect them to suddenly ask about these things.

"Where is your stove and your tableware?"

"Do you have any tea leaves or coffee beans?"

"Can you bring out a cloth for the table?"

These were the last things that he would have expected to hear from this group of officials, but it turned out that they weren't just officials. It turned out that this group from the Laver Empire was just like Agnus.

On the surface they were officials, but really they acted as Haku's maids.

In no time at all, they had pulled out things from their Storage Rings and had created an entire set for afternoon tea. They made sure to set the table and prepare everything before standing off on the side.

Even though their mission had been to take Haku back, they were now acting as her maids as they served her.

It even seemed like they were used to going along with these eccentric ideas that she had. Though it did make sense if they had been with her for long enough that they could represent the Laver Empire.

The amount of time that they had spent with her should be longer than Lin Fan had lived in both of his lives. So there was no need to even mention Rokuko when she hadn't been alive for more than two years.

After they had finished setting everything up, that was when Haku finally got to the main point.

"There's no reason for you to obediently listen to this plan, so there must be something that you've been hiding."

The way that she said this sounded quite serious, but it really was hard to take her seriously when Lin Fan already knew the real reason that she had come all this way.

She had chased Rokuko all the way here because she missed her.

Whatever she was saying was most likely a secondary reason.

However, Lin Fan had to admit that Haku's senses were quite sharp that she was able to discover this. After all, the way that she said it didn't sound like she was just making a guess, but rather like she was certain of this.

If she didn't actually think that something was up, then she wouldn't have said all of this.

So that meant that Haku had to at least have some suspicion for her to say this.

But Lin Fan didn't panic since he was certain that he hadn't let any clues about what he was hiding leak.

He knew that Haku had just come to a conclusion based on her guesses.

In that case…there was no real reason for him to panic. If she couldn't prove anything, there was nothing to lose from her accusing them like this.

But if Lin Fan knew this, it was only natural that Haku would know this as well. So it wasn't as if she would say something like this without a reason.

Seeing that Lin Fan wasn't saying anything, Haku just calmly said, "Well, we're both using each other in the first place, so it isn't as if this is a strange thing. It's just that I feel wrong to let you use me more than I'm using you."

Lin Fan slightly knitted his brows when he heard this.

This sounded…a bit troublesome.

He was fine to make another deal with Haku as long as he had something to benefit from it, but if it were to bring him trouble…

Then it really would be better to send her on her way now.

It wasn't as if she would actually do anything to this dungeon since it was Rokuko's dungeon.

So there was no harm even if Haku wanted to start something since it would be impossible for her to escalate it.
