The first rays of the sun pierced through the window, gently illuminating the room.

They landed softly on a boy’s face, revealing his golden pupil as his eyes fluttered open.

’Now, who removed the curtains’

Zeph can’t help but feel frustrated as just last night, he had meticulously covered the window with curtains, hoping to shield himself from the morning light.

"Come on, Black-Pearl, it’s time to eat something delicious,"

’Dammit’

Diana’s voice pulled him from his drowsy state. He couldn’t help but curse under his breath.

Last night, he had thrown that black-pearl out of the room but Diana had spent two hours trying to find it, returning it in the dead of night causing him to sleep late.

"Zeph, by the way, what does he eat?"

Diana’s incessant questions about her black-pearl grated on Zeph’s nerves. She seemed determined to learn everything about that pig even at cost of disturbing his rest.

As Zeph finally rose from the bed, he glanced over at Diana, who was attempting to feed an unusual dish to Chrono.

’Is that some poison’

He looked at the purple coloured thing in the bowl that Diana was trying to feed Chrono.

’Whatever’

He ignored all that and made his way to the bathroom.

Diana kept persisting her pushing show while the small dragon kept retaliating by clenching it’s jaws tightly, not giving way for the spoon to enter.

Inside the bathroom, Zeph couldn’t help but reflect on the peculiar connection between Diana, and Chrono.

It was as if fate had brought them together.

Zeph had never held Chrono in high regard. Despite the dragon being referred to as the Almighty by some people but for him, it was just a small line written in «Heroes Counterattack».

As a reader he knew even if ten Chrono stood against that demon queen it would still be impossible to defeat her.

As he gazed into the mirror, he can’t help but felt funny about how Chrono become wide known as Almighty dragon after defeating The Amrantha Tenebri, ’Defeat my ass, if not for those people....’.

He remembered all the names that lost their life in stopping that inevitable, it was not only Deventhia who sacrificed herself, there were many like her.

After the battle at Haidren Kingdom, Amrantha was mentally exhausted, but still not enough to stop her.

Her sight was now set on Vendal Kingdom, but between her and the kingdom stood the Sword of Vendals — Reinguard Family.

// A glimpse //

At the borders of the Vendal Kingdom, stood hundreds of people, their hands on the sword hilts on their waist, looking towards a huge tide of Demons approaching them.

"Father, there is no need for you to participate in this with your injuries,"

Diana pleaded as she remembered how her uncle had backstabbed her father, causing him to lose his «Ether core» when she was still in the second year of the academy, robbing him of his peak strength.

"Be focused, Diana, she is coming," her father’s firm voice reminded her.

WHOOSH

His eyes narrowed before his figure vanished, creating an after image.

BANG

Time seemed to freeze as two wills clashed with a deafening impact,

CRACK

The sheer pressure of their collision shattered the land, creating a shockwave that threw individuals standing around a kilometer.

Burning Amethyst eyes gazed at those sharp Sapphire ones, only two sword between these two figures, separating them.

"Father!"

While engaged in battle with seven demon elites, Diana looked towards her father’s directions

Who was facing off against the Darkness itself, The Amrantha Tenebri Noctilucis.

"For a mere human, you are commendable," Amrantha remarked, her amethyst eyes glowing as her crystallized black sword oozed out dark aura as it collided with a sword that was filled with sharp intent.

"Leave,"

Amrantha’s eyes narrowed as she understood about those words not being for her but the girl holding her ground amidst the chaos.

"Again a Child"

Hearing Amrantha’s words confusion swept over the Man, but right now, his focus was on his sword.

As the moment his sword clashed with Amrantha’s, he knew it was the last battle of his life. Even though he had lost his Ether core, he was determined to supplement his energy by using his life force.

For the first time in his life’s battles, he turned to take a glance at his daughter ,who seemed to busy repelling those demons, before his whole body burned into blue mana causing Amrantha to distance herself.

WHOOSH

Man’s body turned into complete luminance with blue as his sharp sapphire eyes turned towards the Demon Queen.

And, with a sudden light, his sword’s aura surged at tremendous height before his figure vanished and appeared in front of Amrantha causing the beginning of a relentless battle, Once Again.....

End—

*******

Zeph’s POV 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

After his life force had depleted, he died, and Diana was saved by seven beings who came to protect her, putting an end to Amrantha’s rage.

I couldn’t help but feel amused.

It was only after the death of her father that those self-proclaimed justice-bringers arrived to protect Diana, with the hope of recruiting her into the ranks of the Obsidian Order.

Throughout the entire novel, there was a recurring theme — Many strong figures sacrificed their lives to protect the Human Realm, yet among them, not a single member of the Obsidian Order was found.

First, Adriannel died due to the early breaking of Evangeline’s seal.

This marked the beginning of a series of deaths among mighty figures: Deventhia from Haidren Kingdom, Lysander Reinguard from Vendal Kingdom, and, finally, Chrono.

It was quite baffling that none of those heroines, except for Alisia, seemed to notice how seven beings could die at the hands of Amrantha, who was already mentally and physically exhausted from battling both Deventhia Hedrian and Lysander Reinguard.

When you consider the bigger picture, it becomes evident that the Order never intervened in any significant events throughout the entire story, instead choosing to wait calmly for the deaths of people who could have opposed them.

And, about Diana’s father, Lysander Reinguard, to call him a sword god will not be wasted, If not for his brother’s betrayal, it would have really an interesting battle to witness.

I can’t help but really like other readers wanted to get a battle scene between Lysander and Amrantha, face-to-face, but ofcourse, Everyone knew against a figure who can defeat Adriannel, how could a mere human with sharpest sword can survive.

Oh, it is a fact, If Professor Adriannel and Amrantha collided, though a long lasting battle but eventually, She will win.

But, it was impossible due to bonding they shared, it is really a long story but in short, There was four friends — Two Demoness from Demon Realm , a Saint from Saint realm and lastly an Archmage from Human Realm.

A Demoness and an Archmage fallen into their own fate and remaining duo, into the Trap made by Obsedian Order

Whatever, Leave this for another time.

As for right now, I don’t care much about ORDERS goal or whatever, as it will take at least five years.

Even if they increase the speed of their plans to complete it, they need access to Chrintain Valley.

That is, of course, not going to open until Adriannel is alive.

"Where has this toothpaste gone?!"

"Black Pearl’s mouth was stinking, so I brushed him. It was there beside the basin"

Why the hell did you use it on that pig?

I really felt frustrated, not knowing how far her obsession with that thing will take her.

Whatever, So, where was I? Ah, yes, remembering the upcoming plots

I first need to learn about «Archmage Mana» before the Professor goes into his reincarnation cycle. And then, ’Shit, why is there just so much mess?’

My head really hurt whenever I remembered all those damn plots.

That damn novel contains so much information that it felt impossible to remember it all at once. So, I’ll have to put it on hold for now.

"Gurgle... Aaaa... thooo."

I splashed my face with water before doing a gargle since my mouth needed to be clean.

I stole a quick glance at the duo of the mother and child nearby, or at least, that’s what I assumed they were based on their conversation.

"No, Mother, don’t poison me!"

"Just eat it. I made it myself, and there’s no poison in it,"

Is she really going to feed him that mess,’ I guess, it was true, afterall’

In my past life, every show or novel mentioned this thing — Sword Girl’s can’t cook at all.

I guess I’ll have to save my father-in-law too after I cure Diana, Sometime I really think

’What will happen to this world without me?’
