Chapter 321: Chapter 321: Qin Xixi: I’m Waiting for You to Break In! (Please Follow)
They couldn’t stop Qin Xi’Er from doing what she wanted, and honestly, there was no way they could force Xiao Ye to stay away from Qin Xi’Er either. That just wasn’t realistic, nor was it possible.
Liu Ya, on the other hand, kind of understood why Qin Xi’Er had fallen for Xiao Ye.
Both she and Qin Xi’Er had been plagued by template flaws for ages. For her, it meant she couldn’t cultivate and her realm regressed. Qin Xi’Er had it even harder—she was born with a Calamity Body, couldn’t make physical contact with others, had to suffer through rumors, and people called her a jinx.
*In such a dark and icy predicament, no one in the world could help you. But at that moment, Xiao Ye was like a warm ray of light, shining through everything, pulling you out of the darkness, and fixing your template issues.*
Not to mention, Xiao Ye was really outstanding, and honestly, super handsome.
Who wouldn’t find themselves falling for their hero if they were saved in a moment of sheer desperation? Odds were, you’d not only develop a massive crush, you might just fall head over heels.
This went double for someone like Qin Xi’Er, who hadn’t really interacted with many people, let alone folks who were outstanding.
Afterwards, Liu Ya shifted into her Summoned Beast Form and started cultivating, too.
The realms of the three ladies had now reached: Tier Eight Venerable Realm, Tier Seven Venerable Realm, and another Tier Seven Venerable Realm. In the Venerable Realm, they could jump a whole tier in a single day, and that rate even gave Xiao Ye’s own realm a boost, pushing him up to Tier Eight Venerable Realm.
At this rate, it wouldn’t take long before Liu Ya’s realm was back to the Great Venerable Realm.
Meanwhile,
Xiao Ye and Mu Qingxue had finished their "battle."
Mu Qingxue lay in Xiao Ye’s arms. All her usual pride and sass were gone—right now, she just seemed like a bashful little woman, tracing invisible circles across his chest with her finger.
"Xiao Ye, after these days of treatment, my figure’s gotten wild. Do you like it?"
"I do," Xiao Ye said,
"So do you like the old me, or the new me better?" Mu Qingxue asked,
"I like the new you," Xiao Ye said,
"Huh? So you mean you don’t like the old me anymore?" Mu Qingxue’s eyes went all dewy and pouty.
"I like both," Xiao Ye said,
"So what do you like about me?" Mu Qingxue asked,
"I like every inch of you," Xiao Ye said,
"Ugh, not like that!" Mu Qingxue’s cheeks turned pink. "I mean, what part of my personality do you like?"
"Personality, huh... the feisty princess routine?" Xiao Ye said, "Honestly, don’t ask. What I like is you—Mu Qingxue yourself."
Mu Qingxue couldn’t help but let out a giggle, her eyes lighting up with joy and affection. "Want to go another round?"
Xiao Ye just shook his head, got up, got dressed, and rinsed his mouth downstairs.
"I’ve got something important to do tomorrow, so I need to rest tonight. Can’t waste my energy," he remembered. "Oh, right, after I leave tomorrow, make sure you keep an eye on Qin Xi’Er. Watch her, don’t let her drink any weird stuff, like aphrodisiacs."
"If I come back and find out Qin Xi’Er’s been mistreated, I’ll whip you!"
With that, Xiao Ye walked out of Mu Qingxue’s room.
Not getting what she wanted, Mu Qingxue followed him out with eyes full of grumbling bitterness, muttering, "He never stops talking about Qin Xi’Er. Who’s more important anyway, me or Qin Xi’Er? Hmph."
"Fine, I’ll take care of her. Qin Xi’Er is so innocent, it’s way too easy for her to get led astray."
Xiao Ye walked out and opened the room door. Before he could even reach for the hallway switch, the light turned on by itself.
"Damn it!"
Xiao Ye slammed on the brakes, nearly running into someone.
Raising an eyebrow, he realized it was actually Qin Xi’Er. She was standing in the hallway outside the door, nervously twisting the corner of her shirt, her delicate face stubborn yet fragile.
Xiao Ye was surprised, "Qin Xi’Er, what are you doing out here? Spying on us?"
Qin Xi’Er’s cheeks turned crimson, and she quickly shook her head.
"No way! I wasn’t eavesdropping, I swear. I don’t even want to listen to that... stuff. It’s so embarrassing!"
Xiao Ye: "..."
*Yeah, right. You know exactly what we were doing, but you say you weren’t listening.*
"Come with me, I need to talk to you," Qin Xi’Er said, blushing as she grabbed Xiao Ye’s hand and led him quickly to a guest room upstairs.
Xiao Ye was super confused and joked, "It’s really late... what are you up to? Aren’t you scared being here with just me, a guy, and you, a girl?"
Qin Xi’Er shook her head, "I’m not scared."
Once they were inside the guest room on the second floor, Qin Xi’Er shut the door, dashed over to the coat rack, and pulled out a handful of silky pajamas, looking shy as she asked,
"Xiao Ye, which one of these pajamas do you think would look best on me?"
The pajamas were more like nightgowns, and came in white, black, purple, red—basically every color.
Xiao Ye: "..."
*She called me up here in the middle of the night... for this?*
Xiao Ye stroked his chin and said, "They all look nice. How about you try them on, one by one, and I’ll judge?"
Qin Xi’Er nodded, ran to the bathroom, put on a pajama, and zipped back out, spinning in front of Xiao Ye with her arms raised, "How does it look?"
This one was white, silky and fitted tight to her curves, accentuating her body in all the right ways.
Xiao Ye said, "Looks great."
Qin Xi’Er’s face lit up with joy, "Then I’ll wear this one."
Xiao Ye waved his hand dismissively, "Why not try the red or purple ones, just in case they look even better?"
Qin Xi’Er nodded, agreed, and scampered off to the bathroom. But two seconds later, she bounded right back out in the same white pajamas, face red as she stopped in front of Xiao Ye and said,
"Xiao Ye, touch it—see how it feels. Do you like it?"
"???" Xiao Ye’s eyes went wide, "Touch what? You... or the pajamas?"
Qin Xi’Er stamped her foot, "The pajamas, of course!"
Xiao Ye’s mouth twitched. *What was even the point of this? I wasn’t the one wearing them anyway.*
But since it was Qin Xi’Er asking, he reached out and rubbed the corner of the pajamas, "Feels super smooth, really light, silky, breathable, definitely stitched from fancy material."
Qin Xi’Er’s eyes sparkled with hope, "So, do you like it?"
Xiao Ye said, "I wouldn’t say I love it, but it should be really comfy to wear."
Qin Xi’Er’s eyes dimmed, "So you don’t like it. I’ll try on another."
She scurried to the bathroom, and came out two minutes later.
Xiao Ye: "!!!"
This one was blood red, a shockingly deep crimson so bright it looked like something a ghost bride would wear. Seeing shy, gentle Qin Xi’Er wear that, it just felt... weird.
When she saw the awkward look on Xiao Ye’s face, Qin Xi’Er pouted, turned right back around, and dashed into the bathroom again to change.
When she came out, Xiao Ye’s eyes lit up.
The purple pajamas, on Qin Xi’Er, truly had a unique vibe.
Old Song hadn’t been wrong: purple really did have its own charm.
He snapped his fingers and grinned, "Nice! Super cute, full of vibes. You look amazing."
Qin Xi’Er’s face beamed with joy, and she scooted closer, "Then touch it—see if it’s nice. Do you like it?"
Xiao Ye’s mouth twitched, "You’re the one wearing it, not me. Doesn’t really matter if I like it or not. As long as you like it, right? Besides, aren’t they all made from the same material? They all feel the same."
Qin Xi’Er shook her head, "No, it matters if you like it."
Xiao Ye said, "I like it! Any clothes made from this material, I’m a fan."
Qin Xi’Er grinned, "Great, then I’ll wear this color. I have at least a few hundred pairs of these purple pajamas."
*Inside, she silently added, ’No matter when you suddenly barge into my room, I’ll be waiting for you, wearing this outfit.’*
