Chapter 282: The Hidden Tycoon is No Longer Hiding!
The tension at home felt less frantic than it had that morning. The news that tarnished the Jones family name and caused the company’s stock to drop was no longer widely circulated on the internet.
Television stations had stopped broadcasting the story, and only a few social media platforms were still discussing it.
Overall, the negative comments were no longer as intense as earlier that morning after Ethan finally returned from his short vacation and accessed his supercomputer at Silverstone Tower to resume work and remove all bots’ comments.
Everything is under control now, but the public is already aware of Hannah and Sawyer’s identities.
They have no choice but to accept it.
That late afternoon, Abigail had just woken up from her nap.
When she heard the door open, she was about to get out of bed. To her surprise, her grandma and Sawyer’s mother appeared behind the bedroom door, with Sawyer standing behind them.
Abigail’s attention was focused on Hannah. Seeing her look as beautiful and calm as ever brought her relief.
She quickly got up, tidied her hair, and greeted them with a wide smile. "Grandma, Mother, when did you arrive?" she asked happily, shooting a thank-you at Sawyer through her gaze.
This morning, after news about Jones’ family’s dark secret circulated, she asked Sawyer to pick up her mother and let her stay with them for a while. She was concerned about Hannah being alone in her house, even though her father-in-law was there.
She also requested that Sawyer bring her grandmother and his grandmother along, but unfortunately, she didn’t see Martha with them.

While Abigail and the others enjoy their afternoon tea near firewood in the living room, Sawyer heads to his office at the Silverstone Group.
Many things kept him busy today, but he couldn’t manage everything freely while he was at home with his beloved wife around him.
He didn’t want her to witness his anger toward the people who tried to harm him and his family.
When he arrived at the fiftieth floor, Ethan and the others were already waiting for him. They sat in his office with unusual tension.
The tension in the room grew as Ethan announced that he had discovered the person responsible for the shocking news spread across the country.
Everyone’s eyes were fixed on him, eagerly awaiting the moment he would reveal the name.
However, Ethan didn’t divulge it right away. Instead, he scanned the faces of those around him, making eye contact one by one.
He glanced at Andy Bennet, Rowan Sterling, Ronan Peters, and then Brody. However, when they were eager to hear the perpetrator’s name, Evan ignored them, and his gaze landed on Sawyer.
A faint smile slowly emerged from the corner of his lips when he noticed his boss’s calm expression. There was no curiosity reflected in his eyes.
"Boss, you know about that person, right?" Ethan’s question surprised the others, prompting them to turn and look at Sawyer.
Nodding slightly, Sawyer’s blue eyes appeared to radiate anger as he replied, "Harvey Jones!"
Andy Bennet and the others couldn’t hide their surprise when they heard that name. They didn’t expect Harvey to have the audacity to tarnish his family’s dignity to attack Sawyer.
Ethan chuckled and shook his head slowly, explaining how Harvey Jones did it.
"Almost everyone in this country doesn’t know that the ’Fact’ website is managed by Harvey and his goons, myself included. I never suspected anything because the website only attacks his business rivals. He has never targeted our boss or his family there. However, this morning, the news began there."
"My investigation began from there. I was shocked to discover that Harvey had a skilled hacker. That’s why the website has survived all this time without anyone being able to interfere with any news they publish."
Ethan suppressed his laughter before continuing, "But this time, he faced the wrong opponent. He disturbed our boss; that’s why I was intrigued by ’The Fact,’ of course, I quickly discovered who was behind it all."
He finished his explanation with pride, and a joyful smile graced his lips when he noticed Andy and the others giving him a thumbs-up.
But his wide smile slowly faded when his gaze fell on Sawyer. There was no sense of pride coming from his boss, only a cold stare. Instantly, he felt his blood freeze in his veins.
Ethan swallowed hard in silence before asking, "B-Boss, you didn’t like my report?" he stammered.
The tension in the room, which had begun to ease, returned as all eyes turned to Sawyer.
"Your explanation, while it is good, I don’t want to hear that. I want to hear that you have, beyond reasonable doubt, evidence to silence him," Sawyer said coldly. His tone was so icy that Ethan found it difficult to respond, but he managed to nod in reply.
"Yes, we need solid evidence to confront Harvey," Rowan Sterling said. "He isn’t just anyone; Morgan’s family is supporting him. You must gather strong evidence and consider other factors to deal with him effectively."
Ethan gazed at Rowan with a smile. "Of course I have. I possess all the key cards to silence Morgans if they dare to protect him. Don’t worry, I’ve worked for Boss Sawyer and you all for too long, so I know what to do without needing you to ask."
"You are truly great, Ethan!" Ronan raised his thumb in approval.
"Without you, we are nothing, Ethan! Well done, man—" Andy smiled at him while giving him a thumbs-up.
Vincent, who had remained silent all this time, simply smiled at Ethan.
Brody smiles at Ethan but says nothing.
While Sawyer’s expression remained unchanged, it reflected a complete lack of emotions. No happiness or pride was radiating from his eyes.
Once again, Ethan was stunned. He couldn’t help but vent his frustration inwardly, ’Geez, Boss, why is it so hard to please you? Unless it’s about your wife...’
Sawyer was so preoccupied with planning his next move against Harvey that he didn’t notice the reactions of those around him.
When would he finally repay Harvey for what he had done? That was the biggest question on his mind.
He wanted to take action immediately, but a significant event was approaching—Harvey and Serena were getting married.
It wasn’t just the Jones family involved; the Philips were part of his family as well.
If he attacked Harvey now, their wedding might be postponed. Sawyer didn’t want their wedding to fail; he wanted it to happen before he took any action against Harvey.
Sawyer took a deep breath and realized he couldn’t proceed without consulting his elders. He needed to inform them, as this could bring shame to their family.
’Are they prepared for this?’ Sawyer silently muttered to himself as he took another deep breath.
"Boss, what will you do?" Andy’s question prompted Sawyer to glance back at the four of them. He shared his concerns and outlined his plans.
They all nodded in agreement and prepared to execute his wishes.
As they thought the meeting was over and were about to leave to complete their tasks, Sawyer stopped them.
"Boss, is there something else you need us to do?" Ethan asked; curiosity could be heard in his voice.
"Yes," Sawyer replied slowly, his gaze resting on Andy. His calm blue eyes gradually sharpened. "Prepare your speech to announce my identity to the public. Do that after Harvey’s wedding day."
The room fell silent; they were stunned by Sawyer’s decision.
They had been waiting for this: Sawyer Jones is no longer hiding.

Sawyer did not go home immediately; instead, he asked his grandfather and father to meet him.
They gathered at a private restaurant owned by the Silverstone Group.
All the elders arrived one by one, curious about why Sawyer had suddenly requested this meeting, especially given the recent shocking news about him.
His photo had gone viral as the illegitimate son of Walter Jones, even though there was currently no publicly available image of him. Still, everyone was expected to recognize his face.
"Sawyer, my grandson, are you okay?" Nathaniel asked with concern. He had wanted to see Sawyer since morning but couldn’t because his grandson seemed too busy.
James Philips shared his worries: "Sawyer Jones, don’t worry. Even though the world may not accept you, you are still my number one grandson-in-law!"
"Son, please forgive your father. I couldn’t protect you and your mother." Walter Jones felt the heaviest burden of sadness and guilt. He had done everything he could to safeguard his younger son, but someone had leaked critical information.
Their family name has been tarnished, and their company suffers significant losses. The stock value has plummeted to its lowest point, causing some investors to question the company’s performance. As the acting CEO, Walter is becoming increasingly overwhelmed by the need to manage the situation.
A faint smile unexpectedly appeared on Sawyer’s lips, surprising Walter and the others as it revealed his calmness.
Before anyone could speak, Sawyer said calmly, "I gathered you here to inform you that we have found the person who spread the news."
