Bone Alchemist: Necromancer of The Aberrations-Chapter 77: One Shotting a Stellar Rank?
Chapter 77: One Shotting a Stellar Rank?
Every living being across the continent felt this powerful tremor. It was as if the very heart of the world had skipped a beat.
"Who could it be?"
Jeremy’s perception was somewhat limited. Or at least, that was before he used his power to evolve Drae’mon and SuperCannon.
Now, his abilities had expanded enormously. He could perceive everything his Thalgriths perceived.
In particular, the new element of SuperCannon made Jeremy’s vision completely different.
It was as if a third eye had opened, one that looked beyond matter, beyond time.
The world was speaking to him.
Every particle vibrated in response to his thoughts.
Not words, but sensations, visions, possibilities.
For every question he had, the world seemed to give him an answer.
And he knew what was coming.
Yvanna wasn’t here, so she couldn’t steal this juicy prey from him.
At that moment, two figures approached the boy.
Their steps were uncertain, almost oppressed by the boy’s aura.
They were the two imperial consuls.
"Greetings"
One of them spoke, slightly bowing his head. They didn’t need introductions.
Not because they were famous or anything, but because at this point, introductions were pointless. They had become mere extras in the background of a cosmic war.
The only thing that mattered was information.
Information about what was happening and who they were facing.
"Do you know what’s going on? Can we help in any way?"
The consul’s voice was tense.
Tense like a rope ready to snap under too much pressure.
He wanted to say many other things, however, the stares he was receiving from the army of bones gave him chills.
Their eyes appeared empty, but the feeling from those stares was real.
But he gathered his courage and approached the boy anyway.
Why?
The whole world seemed to tremble, unable to withstand this level of threat.
Space was crumbling, the ground opening as if made of paper. Everything was being destroyed, unable to endure whatever was happening.
At this rate, they would all die.
And the scary thing was that they had no idea why this was all happening.
However, Jeremy ignored them. He couldn’t care less about these weak humans.
He had only one thing in mind. Observing the power of SuperCannon.
His gaze was turned upward.
However, he wasn’t looking at the spot where Malrik and Yvanna had vanished.
He was focused on something else.
And the moment he saw the new target, a wide, toothy smile appeared on his stoic face.
At the sight of that smile, the two consuls trembled. The temperature seemed to drop suddenly. Their bodies began to shiver involuntarily.
However, shortly after, something completely unthinkable happened.
---
In the distance, a figure adorned in red and black armor wore an angry expression on his face.
"Where the hell did that boy go?!" his voice was a mix of anger and concern.
Without realizing it, his aura was being released naturally, damaging the world beneath him.
If Malrik was dead, it would be the end for him.
He was the only Stellar Rank on this mission, Prish Ebonveil.
He couldn’t just rush in and do whatever he wanted; after all, the mission was clear.
Capture Cambela alive.
However, there was another thing to consider.
Malrik must not die.
No one had ever dared to define this point. After all, the young devil was too strong to die in a low-level world like this.
Nonetheless, his aura had disappeared while fighting the strongest being on this planet.
If he didn’t appear within minutes, he would raze the entire planet to the ground.
Also, Cambela wasn’t stupid. He firmly believed that somehow she would survive.
And just as he was thinking about all this, a strange tingling and shiver ran through his entire body.
He couldn’t move; he felt anchored in space.
He heightened his perception to the maximum and released all his power, waiting to understand what was happening.
But as the seconds passed, nothing seemed to change.
Then, a shocking amount of energy materialized in front of Prish’s body.
"Shit—"
Those were his last words, before the energy beam hit him.
---
Jeremy’s eyes, as well as those of the generals and the newly powerful Osseoth Legion, were wide open.
No one expected anything like this.
On the human side, everyone trembled. The attack had been so fast and sudden that, for a moment, everyone thought they were dead.
And if they were in that state, what could be said of the two imperial consuls next to Jeremy?
They were so shocked that they had fallen, hitting their butts on the ground. Their bodies were twitching, foam seemed to come out of their mouths.
But no one noticed this; everyone was focused on something else.
Jeremy, in particular, had seen everything with precision.
SuperCannon had opened its two mouths and spread its wings.
In less than a moment, a glowing sphere, shining with all possible colors, formed in the space between its two heads.
SuperCannon’s body was majestic as it charged this devastating blow.
Its perfect posture revealed no openings.
Its wings ready to launch it in a heartbeat.
And so it did.
To create even more power, the Aberration beat its wings violently, reaching unheard-of speed.
Even Hero and Leo’sol struggled to spot it.
The only thing they felt was the gust of wind and loud rumbles. Not only was the sound barrier broken, but the shot fired by SuperCannon made a deafening, nightmarish noise.
But all of this was music to Jeremy’s ears, who watched the scene with growing amazement in his eyes.
The Arkhéon beam was stunning, worthy of a majestic creature.
A multicolored ray, capable of traversing space-time as if it didn’t exist.
A shot capable of destroying any defense, any resistance, any concept.
Every possibility of survival was erased.
A light laugh escaped Jeremy’s face.
Not one of mockery, but of pure ecstasy.
Cambela was hopping with excitement. What she was seeing was too much to even comprehend.
Her eyes shone with childish fanaticism, as if she were seeing the ultimate masterpiece. A work born from the fusion of their combined powers.
Destroying a Stellar Rank in one shot as an EX Rank?
No one would have ever believed it.
After all, the difference between an EX Rank and a Stellar Rank was like that between a Rank A and a Rank S.
A Stellar Rank didn’t just have the ability to survive in space.
They were living solar systems. Entities that shaped galaxies with their will.
They were defined as such because with their power it was possible to destroy a planet, but the most surprising thing was the presence of a new ability, called Stellar Skill.
Thanks to it, they were capable of many things.
Creating rules. Challenging logic. Reversing the impossible.
But a few moments later, a scream echoed across the world.
A colossal power was unleashed.
The world, which for a few seconds had stopped trembling and breaking apart, began to disintegrate again at a renewed pace.
The sky was losing its brilliance, the daylight fading, replaced by a living darkness.
"How dare you—" The devil was still alive.
Every part of his body was torn, his armor was gone, and part of his body was missing.
However, he was alive.
He had managed to survive. Not by chance, nor by luck.
Simply because he was strong; otherwise, he wouldn’t have been chosen as the commander of this mission.
Prish Ebonveil governed the concept of Dark Space.
His body was a world unto itself, capable of containing all kinds of things, capable of creating dark energy, capable of miracles.
Despite SuperCannon’s overwhelming attack, the peculiarity of his concept had saved him.
If not for that, he would be dead.
His body had allowed him to absorb much of the Arkhéon beam’s power into his dark world.
However, things hadn’t gone as planned.
His world had been damaged from the inside.
The Arkhéon energy was so powerful and full of peculiarities that it had made its way into his dark world, destroying everything and devouring his energy.
"Hey, I didn’t expect him to still be alive. SuperCannon, you didn’t go easy on him, did you?"
Hearing the devil’s scream, surprise crossed Jeremy’s face.
Then, his eyes narrowed, analyzing every missed possibility.
He hadn’t expected him to be able to survive that shot; it was too powerful, and it was impossible to react.
SuperCannon’s look confirmed the boy’s hypothesis.
The two-headed wolf hadn’t used its strongest shot. However, it affirmed that it was one of its best.
Well, it wasn’t able to speak yet, and Jeremy didn’t know if his undead would ever be able to, but with their enhanced connection, he was able to understand everything.
Without waiting any longer, Jeremy, followed by Drae’mon and SuperCannon, headed toward Prish’s position.
He was glad the devil had survived.
They could play a little longer.
After all, it wasn’t just his Thalgriths who wanted to have fun—but he did too.
He couldn’t wait to use all his power.
But soon the time would come.
After all, with the deaths of Prish and Malrik, the Ebonveil clan would take the situation very seriously.
And with Jeremy’s arrival in the galaxy, things could only get far more interesting.
