Chapter 76: SuperCannon New Form

"Osseoth, Let It Be Bone"

The same scene that had happened to Drae’mon a few minutes earlier was now happening to SuperCannon.

A vortex of energy enveloped the two-headed wolf.

Its bones shattered and reformed continuously.

Even a small portion of the remains of the corpses around them was caught in the vortex.

However, unlike Drae’mon, it wasn’t just the bones that were drawn in.

The flesh of the corpses was also crushed and ground within the vortex, only to be rebuilt into something else entirely unique.

And what emerged was something majestic.

It no longer looked like a monster, as it once did.

"Wow, it’s gorgeous—" Those were Jeremy’s first words, but he couldn’t finish the sentence before a strange gaze scanned his Aberration.

But he didn’t even have time to turn his head upward before a deafening sound hit him.

A great amount of energy tore through the atmosphere.

The world had lost its splendor. Everything seemed to be crumbling inward, as if reality itself could no longer contain it.

It felt like the end of the world.

Everyone’s gaze turned upward, where the clash between Malrik and Yvanna was taking place.

A dimensional rift absorbed all the figures in the sky.

Then, the world resumed as normal, as if everything that had happened had been a lie. freёnovelkiss.com

A serious look passed between Jeremy and Cambela.

The power displayed by Yvanna was astonishing.

In particular, Cambela wouldn’t have survived the blow.

Luckily, they weren’t enemies.

Well, not yet...

"What a shame..." Jeremy’s voice brought Cambela back from her stupor. "It seems the Empress has things under control. We still can’t test your power in an actual battle."

Jeremy’s and Cambela’s gazes turned to the new creation.

SuperCannon.

One thing was certain, it was no longer a simple Aberration.

Sure, it would always be one, but the outward appearance of the two-headed wolf had completely changed.

Now it looked... beautiful, worthy of being ridden.

"Wow, how is this possible? Do Aberrations have unique ways of evolving, or was this just a fluke?!"

Cambela couldn’t believe her eyes.

She had seen many, but the beast in front of her was majestic, regal.

Impressive in every aspect.

Jeremy’s eyes sparkled like stars.

Now he could ride SuperCannon in total comfort.

He still remembered the time he had made a saddle to ride a Flamehoof that was slow as death. After all, he had assigned all his attribute points to intelligence.

Good times.

But now, he no longer needed a saddle. Its body looked incredibly soft.

The Aberration still appeared as a massive two-headed wolf. However, its fur was no longer ragged, ugly, and deformed.

It was smooth and silky, like the softest velvet.

But the most surprising thing was its colors.

Before, there had only been a mix of blue and red, but now it was completely different.

It was rainbow-colored. It looked like all the colors of the world had merged together to bring forth the most mysterious creation in the universe.

Despite this, it didn’t look ridiculous at all. It made it appear even more majestic.

These were Jeremy’s thoughts as he stroked it.

Then his gaze fell upon its majestic wings.

They appeared glossy white, so shiny they reflected Jeremy’s image. Every feather seemed hand-carved, forming a work of art.

Its paws looked unnaturally strong, with claws that shouldn’t have belonged to a wolf.

"Well, after all, you’ve got the claws and wings of the Thunderbird."

Finally, there were SuperCannon’s eyes. A mix of colors lit them up, making its gaze hypnotic.

They were so sharp they seemed able to see the deepest truths.

Of course, that wasn’t their actual function. Its vision had been enhanced once again.

"..."

If Drae’mon’s skill panel had been outrageous, the same could be said of SuperCannon’s.

The truly sensational part was the fact that they no longer had countless skills, but only one.

Yet, instead of being weaker, this single Skill was a complete game-changer.

No more limitations, only imagination.

This had become the new meaning.

And while on one side there was a being enhanced in a balanced way—Drae’mon—on the other was a being powered directly with destructive strength beyond all measure.

"Interesting. This concept of mine seems to be much more than I thought..."

He couldn’t wait to test the new power of the Aberration.

"From now on, you will be a Thalgrith. The second general under my command, leading the Bone Legion—"

A sudden realization struck the boy.

"Sometimes I feel like an idiot..."

His gaze fell on the army of white bones around him. They had not yet been blessed with the new power.

Sure, they were stronger than before, all EX Rank, but their power was still somehow lacking.

They couldn’t truly be considered powerful, not even among Rank S.

The reason was simple.

The absence of a law—or in this case, a concept.

And so, with a snap of his fingers, his Bone Legion was destroyed, ready to be rebuilt.

But not only that—

Every carcass on the battlefield was caught in Jeremy’s energy, ready to be deconstructed and reconstructed.

Every creature took on a form completely different from before. There was no longer a chaotic and disorganized army made up of mixed-race creatures like before.

Now, there were only certain types of creatures covering the ground.

"Magnificent—"

The sight was stunning.

And Jeremy and his group were not the only ones to witness it.

---

Elsewhere, humans were watching the scene unfold in complete disbelief.

An entire army of terrifying creatures. They no longer looked anything like before.

The disordered army of creatures was gone, replaced by something vastly superior.

There were skeletal four-legged beasts...

Humanoid beings made of flesh and bone. Some had two arms, others had many more.

And many other creatures.

The simple beings from before—Goblins, Kobolds, Orcs, Trolls, etc.—were gone, replaced by these figures.

The most absurd thing was that they no longer appeared naked, made only of bone or flesh.

All humanoid figures shared a certain attire.

A simple black robe.

It made everything even more mysterious and worthy of attention.

Then, someone approached the figure of the boy.

It was Victoria, followed by her grandfather.

Tears were streaming from her red eyes.

"How could you?!" she screamed, rushing at full speed toward Jeremy.

By her manner, it looked like she was about to strike him.

But with just a look from the boy, Victoria stopped a few steps from him.

"How could you use human corpses to create your army? How could you use my father’s corpse?"

Sobbing and collapsing, her voice broke.

Jeremy’s gaze was emotionless as he stared at her.

"What are you talking about?"

His flat voice was all it took to make Victoria realize he didn’t care at all.

Then, with a strong gust of wind, another figure approached Jeremy.

It was Lord Amabel, Victoria’s grandfather. He bowed his head to the boy and picked Victoria up from the ground.

"I’m sorry, please forgive her insolence..."

Despite his shattered heart, Lord Amabel could not show hostility, or they would all be finished. He had to retreat and swallow his pride for the good of them all.

Jeremy didn’t reply. He simply stared silently at the old man before closing his eyes, as if granting his permission.

And with that, the two returned to the human side.

Jeremy turned his gaze toward his army of undead. He didn’t care about any of the humans there—after all, they would soon be added to the new Legion.

And who knows, maybe in the form of a new Aberration. However, for that, he needed to wait for Cambela’s Elixir. After all, it was truly miraculous.

Jeremy was very satisfied with how things were going.

Amidst all this, Leo’sol and Hero wore gloomy expressions.

They looked at SuperCannon with envy.

They were jealous, but for different reasons.

Hero deeply longed for a majestic and regal appearance like SuperCannon’s.

Considering how ugly and deformed he was, he wasn’t wrong.

Leo’sol, on the other hand, didn’t find SuperCannon’s appearance beautiful at all.

He only desired power—power that would come with evolution.

Moreover, he preferred to maintain his current look. He liked spreading fear on the battlefield just by showing up.

Drae’mon watched as the two-headed wolf showed off, circling Jeremy and howling softly.

It didn’t appear lethal in any way.

However, thanks to his new body, Drae’mon could perceive and see something shocking.

The Thalgrith Aberration had a particular aura surrounding it. It didn’t seem particularly strong, but it gave off a strange sensation.

It felt impenetrable.

Which was strange.

Drae’mon’s strength was well-known to all. Would he really struggle to break that protective membrane?

And just as Drae’mon drifted off in thought and mental clashes, something new happened.

This time, it wasn’t just the area around them that was compromised.

It was the entire planet.
