The flower was almost colorless, with just a faint golden color on its petals.

It was filled with mana so much that, the mana began to fall down like waterfall.

But it wasn’t any flower that I have seen before.

Then my self proclaimed wife gave me a short description of what it was.

But I didn’t have to wait longer as Ayesha did the same soon enough.

"It is one of the items that I found inside a ruin. When I looked for its information, I found out that it is called soulpetal. One of the rarest flowers, which only grows in the place where many souls have been sacrificed. Maybe some evil mage was trying to make one for himself, but died in the process as this flower might absorb the soul of someone who tries to bloom it. But once it blooms fully, it is one of the priceless treasure." She finished explaining.

Mother was in awe for a moment and so was i. Hearing what she has just said, this is just too precious. And she was just going to give it away?

She is so self giver?

[That’s just her nature, husband. She had everything growing up, so she actually doesn’t have any needs for such items.]

Well, that is true. But if i was in her place, I surely wouldn’t do something like that.

Zixane simply smiled hearing that and didn’t say anything more.

"You won’t ever change, will you? You gave me that sword so casually and now you are giving such a precious item without a second thought." Eleanor said, shaking her head.

She knew how Ayesha was the most and also knew that even if she rejected, she will still give it to me.

Heck, don’t reject, I am accepting it without a shame.

"No, i gave it a careful thought and picked this flower for him. As i expected, the mana that flowed inside him will get absorbed by the world tree branch in him and that is exactly what happened, making him so much stronger when he is just a year old. And now with this, he won’t just be much stronger but this flower will accelerate the speed of his thought, he will be able to think much faster. That is the actual use of this flower, it helps in boosting the ability to think fast that will help him in battle."

So that’s why she is giving it to me. But why would that matter, I just need that flower and thats it.

But then she continued again.

"The outside world is stable right now, do you still remember what we promised that day?" Ayesha asked, her eyes firm, looking at Eleanor.

I rolled my eyes to look at mother and she was the same.

What they promised that day? Are they taking about the plan to make the new monster to face the demon king if he ever takes rebirth?

"How will I forget about that?" Mother said.

"I thought we might begin after he turns 4 or 5, but right now with the way he is growing up, we do not need to wait that long."

The things after this is pretty clear.

The training to make the monster or the weapon (me) to fight against the demon king (me) if he ever gets back will begin now.

But first of all... let me take this flower.

Ayesha forwarded the flower towards me. My body tingled, it could feel that the mana in front of it was immense and too dense.

I noticed it just now, but the mana that was flowing down from it made a small pool of mana liquid on the floor.

"Open your mouth, Ravi. Say ahh..."

She put the flower near my mouth and asked me to open my mouth, and so I did.

I didn’t even need to chew the flower, the soul petal, turned into dust particles and entered my mouth.

It felt cold, my lips turned golden for a moment. The colorless fragments of the soulpetal dissipated to every part of my body.

My muscles tensed up, a familiar feeling surged inside me. The feeling of mana filling my entire self.

It didn’t hurt at all, in fact it was comfortable as if someone was giving me a soft massage.

Mana surrounded my body, forming a protective barrier around me.

"It will take him some time to absorb all the mana, this is the correct time to begin now."

Both of them nodded at each other and the day after began my training...

My training was to make me a Knight, and the most important aspect for a Knight is to have a strong body.

In this world, both knights and mages have the mana core, the only difference is that, the Knight and demon use the mana core differently.

Mages use the mana core to chant the spell and make the magic circles and cast the magic.

But knights use it a little differently. Knights, use the mana core and strengthen their veins and turn them into to mana veins, only after they have achieved that, they are considered low rank 1 Knight.

They use the mana veins to flow the mana throughout their body to make it much stronger which helps them to use their skills conveniently.

The process of gathering mana is same for both knights and mages.

And as they were trying to male me a Knight, I was already prepared for anything, but dude, I did not expect what these two woman had stored for me...
