Goodbye, Ex-husband! I'm Pregnant with Your Uncle's Child!-Chapter 62 - Tonight’s Plan!
62: Chapter 62 Tonight’s Plan!
62 -62 Tonight’s Plan!
Julia Land knew Noah Quarter had someone following her after she drove away.
She continued to the restaurant she had originally planned on going to.
However, she sent a message to Austin Langston.
Julia Land, “[Meet inside the ladies’ restroom at the restaurant]”
When Austin Langston saw the message, he found it odd.
Meet in the ladies’ restroom?
Hannah also read the message and hesitated, “Maybe the ladies’ restroom is safer?”
This Autumn Knowles is more mysterious than celebrities.
“We’re not about to run into a scammer, are we?”
Hannah asked again, clearly feeling somewhat insecure.
“I’ll go into the restroom with you, and we’ll have the driver keep track of time.
If over ten minutes pass without a message from me, call the police,” he said.
Austin Langston nodded.
Unbeknownst to Julia Land, her decision led the two young women to suspect they were walking into a scam.
The restroom of the small restaurant was very clean.
It had good sanitary conditions.
Austin Langston walked into the restroom with his agent and saw a perfectly figured woman waving at them.
Now, there were only the three of them inside the restroom.
“I’m Autumn Knowles, apologies for the inconvenience, but something came up last minute,” she said.
Julia Land chose a clean restroom stall, pushed the door open, let Austin Langston in, and Hannah stood guard outside.
“Here’s the contract, I’ve already signed it, and the songs are on this disc.”
Julia Land handed Austin Langston the contract and the CD case.
Austin Langston was straightforward too; she quickly read through the contract and, after checking the disc, she signed it.
They each kept their copy of the contract.
Austin Langston looked at Julia Land with a puzzled gaze, “Have I seen you somewhere before?
Wait, are you the ex-wife of the Quarter Group chairman?”
When she had tried to find out more about her rival Arabella Shaw, she had searched for news about Noah Quarter.
And then, she had seen Julia Land’s photo in the news reports.
Julia Land raised an eyebrow with a smile, “Yes, I’ve given the songs to you.
Your voice is very suited for these pieces.”
Austin Langston’s feelings were mixed, “Thank you for choosing to sell the songs to me.”
It seemed their common enemy was probably Arabella Shaw.
“It’s just business,” Julia Land said with a curled lip, smiling.
She couldn’t stay in the restroom for too long, opened the door, went to wash her hands, and exited the restroom.
Since she was there, she decided to eat a bowl of noodles at the place.
While eating, Julia Land watched entertainment news about Arabella Shaw making another city tour to promote her album.
It was Arabella Shaw’s first album release, and thanks to solid promotion, plus her decent looks and voice, her album became a hit.
She could become even more popular.
Julia Land scrolled through her phone to other news stories.
**
After finishing her last promotional event, Arabella Shaw sat on the hotel sofa with a facial mask on.
She would return to Dunmore City tomorrow and naturally wanted to appear at her best.
“Arabella, your album has been a great success.
I’ve landed you a spot on ‘Let’s Sing Together’,” Sister Wilson said with a laugh, suddenly remembering something else.
“Austin Langston privately bought the rights to a few songs, bypassing the company.
She’s getting ready to produce a new album.”
Arabella Shaw was slightly surprised, “Whom did she buy the songs from?”
“It’s said to be from an unknown composer.
We’re not sure who.
Should we look into it?”
Arabella Shaw removed her mask and spoke softly, “I suppose the composer isn’t very famous.
Let’s leave it for now, let her record.
If the company doesn’t promote her, she won’t make a splash anyway.”
There was a time when she accidentally heard Austin Langston practicing singing while at Winchester Place.
Arabella Shaw had decided she could not let Austin Langston debut before her.
She would be her obstacle.
Sister Wilson nodded, “You’re right.
Without proper promotion, there won’t be any waves to make.”

On her way back from the restaurant, Julia Land happened to pass by a supermarket.
Ten minutes later.

She emerged from the supermarket with a bag in hand.
Inside the bag, there was a pair of men’s slippers.
She casually placed the bag on the passenger seat and rubbed her face.
Forget it, it’s bought anyway.
As she was about to reach the community building, she called Sophia Hart to come down to eat together.
“Julia Land.”
Someone knocked on the car window.
Julia Land looked over and saw it was Alexander Strong.
She raised her brows, opened the car door, then made a call to tell Sophia Hart to get in the car and wait for her.
Inside the car.
Noah Quarter lifted his coffee and took a sip, holding a document in his hand and reading it.
The car door opened, and Julia Land got in, looking at Noah Quarter, she said indifferently, “Is there an issue?”
Noah Quarter put down the coffee, lifted his cool gaze, and looked at her, “You went to Grace City.”
Julia Land smiled, “You’re quite well-informed, aren’t you?”
When James Thompson told her that Noah Quarter had people following her, she guessed that he would find out about her trip to Grace City yesterday.
She just didn’t expect him to come looking for her so soon.
Sure enough, true love really is different.
“I went as a fan to support Miss Shaw, what’s the problem?” Her eyes shifted slightly.
She exuded a charm she wasn’t even aware of.
“I surely didn’t do anything bad, I, for one, am a good citizen, unlike some people, all black-hearted yet angel-faced.”
Julia Land drawled.
Noah Quarter’s eyes narrowed, pulling back his view from Julia Land, “You really aren’t planning on leaving Dunmore City?”
“Of course not.”
Julia Land laughed, “Dunmore City is a fun place, with fun people too, I really can’t bear to leave.”
The woman’s joking demeanor.
Noah Quarter coldly smiled, tapping the document on his knee, “Don’t do anything unnecessary, your mother is still with the Langston Family.”
“Oh?
Too bad she called me a while back to sever mother-daughter ties.”
Julia Land was all smiles.
“It’s fine, I’m leaving.
Being with you too long, my heart starts racing…
makes me want to throw up.”
Noah Quarter’s expression changed.
Julia Land snorted with laughter, got out of the car, and straightened the white shirt she was wearing.
Sophia Hart stuck her head out of the car window, glanced at that car, and Julia Land opened the door and got in.
“Who was that?”
“Ex-husband.”
Sophia Hart hesitated for a moment, then said, “Julia, I don’t think Mr.
Quarter is worthy of you, maybe you should think it over?”
Julia Land, hmm, she started the car, and laughed, “I haven’t made porridge these past few mornings, did you notice?”
“!”
Sophia Hart was instantly thrilled, “Julia, you really got over it, it’s better now, I was actually worried you still had ties with him, especially since he’s with Arabella Shaw now.”
Julia Land laughed, “Yeah, I got over it.”
Disgusting oneself really isn’t pleasant.
Sophia Hart, rubbing her chin, clicked her tongue, and with a snap of her fingers said, “I’ll introduce you to some good ones, arrangements for tonight!”
Julia Land softly chuckled.

Julia Land got in Noah Quarter’s car and was photographed.
Recently, because Arabella Shaw became popular, Noah Quarter, related to her, also garnered attention.
But the paparazzi didn’t dare to photograph Noah Quarter.
Then some paparazzi thought of Noah Quarter’s ex-wife.
The paparazzi had some skill.
They found the community building where Julia Land lived, thinking to see if Miss Land’s situation was suitable for creating a topic.
Instead, they captured Noah Quarter’s car.
Although the paparazzi were cautious not to report recklessly, they still sold the photo to Arabella Shaw’s agent.
Arabella Shaw looked at the picture, her expression ugly.
“Don’t be angry just yet, do you still not understand how Director Quarter treats you?
Their meeting might have been for business,” Sister Wilson analyzed seriously.
Arabella Shaw touched her phone, in thought for a moment, she said, “Sister Wilson, have this photo leaked out, make the end clean.”
Sister Wilson was surprised, “Are you sure?”
“Yeah, send out the photo.”
Arabella Shaw said with a cold laugh.
