Pushed by the urgency filled voice of First Angel Lupto, Allen held up the soul beast stone high in the sky.

«So that's it. Then it's time for me to return to the Temple too.»

A distant look appeared in the gaze of Nestirad, as if he was looking at somewhere far away, his form fading into a glowing bubble of light.

Since Allen already had the soul beast stone out, Nestirad's soul was absorbed in it.

(Who would have thought that the Spirit Beast Stone, which Peromas risked his life to obtain, would be so effective in collecting S-rank summoning beasts?)

Allen once again felt an endless wave of gratitude for Peromas inside his mind, who had risked his life to gain the soul beast stones from the Demon King Army in the Prostea Empire. Though on the flip side, it appeared he had already forgotten about dragging the same target of 'respect' to battle, despite later's vehement.

«Soul Beast Nestirad's soul has been absorbed into the soul beast stone.»

A huge screen appeared in front of Great Angel Aura, who had been drawing a magic circle.

Then a touch panel appeared in her hands, and she began typing furiously, her fingers flying across the keys in a blur.

Before Allen, Grimoire materialised, displaying the text as logs streamed by.

«Would you like to proceed with the analysis of the soul of Spirit Beast Nestirad?»

(So it was her who displayed the log in Grimoire? But, err, it felt like using a smartphone to chat while standing next to the same person.)

Perhaps, she might reply if he addressed her, though instead, he opted out for 'analysis' in his mind.

«Analysis of Soul Beast Nestirad's soul has begun.»

"So, can I ask for an explanation for the situation now?"

«We're constrained on time. Please focus on the task at hand.»

Allen tried to dig more into the situation, however Lupto's cold response shut him up.

(I mean, there should be no problem speaking while it's still in the process of analysing though... Hmm? This is...)

Though Allen found nothing to reflect here. He was the type to offer excuses whenever reprimanded.

*Thump-Thump*

Once again, the heart of Nestirad was left behind on the ground, now only the size of dodgeball. But this time, the heart expanded no further, perhaps because the soul, the main driving force, was absorbed.

Allen picked up the heart with both hands, and put it in the Grimoire.

«Allen has stored the heart of Spirit Beast Nestirad in the magical book.»

(At long last, Cecil's Extra Mode can be finally unlocked with the objective being completed. Though it sure did make us run in round. Heck, without Shea's divine technique, we have failed without any victory in sight)

Allen felt a relief that their team's effort had finally paid out. But regardless of his thoughts, logs continued to stream on Grimoire.

«......Analysis has been completed. Please store the soul beast stone in the Grimoire.»

"Oh, done? Well, there I go."

Since explanation was kept out for now, he could only follow and do as instructed. It wasn't an ideal scenario, but it appeared Lupto etc were ramping up their cooperation with Allen.

«Proceeding to reconstruct the soul of Nestirad with fragments of the Sun and Moon as medium...... The shard of the Sun and the Moon has been consumed. Allen has unlocked the seal of [God S Summon]. A soul and medium has been detected. Prompt summoning is possible. Would you like to summon S-rank God Summon?»

(How long it has been? I believe 11 months since the search for Beck in Prostea Empire when my Summoning level reached 9. Took quite a while... Well, whether 11 months or so feels long is up for debate. Anyway, so the [-] in ' --- S-rank' was [God] huh.)

It was during the 10th month of last year, when he had turned 16, that Allen reached level 9 in summoning.

What had begun with summoning sacred fish Mackris, and now with just one month away from turning 17, he could finally summon his first S-rank beast.

The silver letters on the cover of his Grimoire flashed with bold emphasis.

(Well, Nestirad is quite a mouthful to say the least. Hmm? Ohh, so it seemed like this one's name isn't settled yet, unlike other S-rank beasts. Alright, let's first begin with summoning!)

Due to how long he had waited for this day, Allen, in a rare move, skipped the naming and and directly jumped to summon.

*Skills and Awakening effects are under review. They might be secretly adjusted later.

The summon appeared in the form of an old man in his 60's, sporting a long white beard from mouth to chin. The old man was without any weapon, or armor, but he was dressed in the white, Greece-esque dress that covered his body rippling with muscles.

(Oho, I see. Since the heart was the base material, I had thought it might be a heart shaped summon or something, but it's great it turned out to be a humanoid one. Well, he sure is quite tall. I think 5 metres? But that pompous aura, sublime techniques, and awakened skills all appeared strong. This is indeed quite fitting for God S.)

Appearance wise, it reminded Allen of the thunder god in Greece mythology.

Summoned beasts were divided into front, middle, or rear positions based on their appearance, stats, skills, and awakening abilities. Now it was to be analysed which position that new summoned beast fits for.

But from a general standpoint, unlike rearguard, the body size was a crucial aspect for the vanguard or mid-guard position. A good example would be how a giant could hide mid-guard or rearguard behind themselves, allowing them to steal eyes from their opponent.

The 5m height made him incomparable to anyone of human race, but when it comes to S-rank summoned beast, 5m might even be the base start.

A huge physique might give an edge in battle against a human-size opponent, but too big of a size was also not a call for many situations as that would mean obstructing the view for the team members behind.

It would be like if Haku, Magla or Tam-Tam come to battle in close-combat, it would definitely create an obstacle for Kurena and Dogora.

(He gave off the vibe of vanguard from a glance, but with the creation skill, I think it could play the role of mid-guard or rearguard like Merus, huh? Well, it sure seems like it needs creation skill to unlock much. Then again, it would be a waste to assign someone of Merus status to mere support.)

Allen shook off his assumption After all, creation skill had allowed Merus much flexibility in his role. Even now, with magic and buff, he played the pivotal role to amplify Peromas's luck. And he also had played a much bigger role in quickly filling up the combo meter.

«With the release of seal on S-rank god summon, the [-] summoned beast A has been changed into [God] A summoned beast.»

(That log message feels like it's reading my mind. Then again, it seems like it actually is.)

Creation skill was currently used by Merus to increase weapon, armament, or further add up techniques and awakened skill. Allen decided he would give a thought to the deployment position after testing out the creation skill.

(Anyway, name was it? With the past precedent of Macris, Magla, or Kuwatoro, 'Nestirad' makes sense. It truly is fitting for the Law of God but... I think it's quite a mouthful.)

"Hey!"

Allen was busy contemplating when a shout reached him from the sideline.

"Hey, you, Allen! From the direction of conversation just now, it sounds like you're going to have Nestirad as a summoned beast?"

Since Cecil was absent, Keel stepped in to jab at him.

"Huh? Ah, I am currently busy analysing, so hold on a second."

"Why are you still so......"

Keel was dumbfounded at Allen's behaviour, but he knew better than to attempt an talk with Allen when he displayed a thoughtful expression. His words would be falling in deaf ears.

"I think you're right. If everything is true, then Nestirad truly is the Law of God Auxilion who once supported the Old World. No, wait. So that's why his sacred artifact was sealed---it was necessary for the summoned beast."

Shea, who had worshipped Beast God Garm, was just as exasperated as she listened to the situation. The absurdity of the situation had so surpassed the human psyche that she couldn't help but try to stop Allen. freёweɓnovel.com

«Good grief. Who do you think Lord Auxilion is? He's the supreme god... Lupto, you really are trying for some crazy setup huh!!»

After weathering hundreds of thousands of years, there were not many things that could startle Merus, but even he could feel the crack on his expression as his body shook uncontrollably.

It appeared he, too, believed turning one of the pillar gods into summoned beasts was a move beyond comprehension and logic.

(Among the 255 gods, there are fewer than 10 who can be actually called Supreme Gods. And then, apparently there had only been three Transcendental Gods in this world. Well, I am not sure if his current 50,000 stats truly reflected that transcendental nature.)

Allen theorised there must be some kind of restriction why even a god's status was begun at 50,000 stat baseline. Well, the number would surely rise once he thoroughly checks the strengthening creation skill and brings together the other body parts.

If the rumours were correct, the God of Law's physical body was split and lost into the Dark Realm, though this was a place Allen couldn't go willingly, since they're currently throwing hands against Demon King Army. ---Oh wait, that actually sounds like post-game material once Demon King is subjugated.

As far as he knew, the only supposed transcendental god at present was Creation God Elmea. The other two were God of Law Auxilion and Sun God Amanty who had fought Creation God in the past.

The God of Law was once labelled as the Evil God, and after his body was split into five parts, all of them were dumped into Dark Realm. Similarly, Sun God, who had begun to be touted as God of Darkness, was chased into the Dark Realm. Once, he had appeared in the Divine Realm during battle with the Demon King Army.

Either way, Cecil and Hero Helmios had yet to finish their trials, but from the situation, they're in the final stage of their growth.

Allen, finally done with his analysis, turned to glance at his comrades, and noted a sighed appearance on their expression. As if they'd resigned themselves, and were expecting it.

"You know, you really are one heck of a guy, Allen."

"We're talking about Allen after all! But that's the cool part about him!!"

Dogora and Kurena, who had witnessed Allen's bizarre antics since childhood, offered their full support.

Then, the God S summoned beast, who had been quietly overlooking the situation, finally spoke.

«...Where is this? What has happened to me?»

"Huh? Are you confused? Do you know who you are?"

Allen figured formal language was unnecessary since Nestirad was now his summoned beast, and directly addressed him.

«I can't remember anything. Why am I here?»

«Lord Auxilion, your memories are stored in your head. The situation might appear confusing at first, but your body has been reconstructed as human Allen's summoned beast.»

«......Allen's summoned beast?»

"She's talking about me. I will be counting on you from now, alright?»

(---Counting on you to work hard for me, that is!)

«Is it fine for me to serve you?»

"Well, this is the situation. Either way, you're our comrade starting today. Let's aim to defeat the Demon King!"

«Your Summoned Beast, and a friend? I will try my best...»

"Umu, but less of trivial details. We need to decide on a name. I would have just asked you, but you're missing your memories, so it would be a useless question. Would you like me to decide, or you find the name Nestirad just fine?"

«No, my name matters no------"

Just in time, a voice hollered, unable to take the absurdity of the situation anymore.

«Nestirad can go to the dump for all I care. It's just a dumb name people of Divine Realm has given on their own accod. Listen well, he's none other than the Supreme God Auxilion. Did you get it, human boy? So don't you dare trivialise the honor of the Supreme God!!»

Beast God Garm shouted with a red face.
