Returning to rest was a welcome relief—even Logan, who could use skills to restore his stamina, had no desire to face the hydra while feeling exhausted.

As soon as they arrived, the creatures instinctively went to their designated places. Emary and Silvia lingered near the portal, waiting for Logan to pass through, while Freya wasted no time heading straight into the mansion for her bath.

"Guess cracking her will be tough," Logan remarked as he and Silvia walked together. "At least this way, if she ever decides to betray us, we'll know."

A few steps ahead, Emary walked silently, his electric rodent perched on his shoulders. He continued as if nothing had happened, already knowing his place within the castle and his next task. Logan had provided him with books on trap mechanisms—the same ones Valeria had used to train him months prior. Once Emary grasped the basics, Logan intended to teach him more advanced techniques, assuming they had the time.

Inside, Lisa and Rubina were waiting, their exhaustion evident after intense training in the dungeon. Further ahead, Claire stood with Alma, both freshly out of the bath, their damp hair clinging to the soft tunics they now wore daily.

"Well, I guess it's time to eat," Logan said with a grin, making his way toward the grand dining table. The sight of countless plates and the rich aroma of the food instantly set his stomach growling.

Everyone turned to the boy and laughed before taking their seats. Over the past few months, Logan had grown accustomed to being around people, and now, moments like these no longer fazed him. Their shared experiences kept embarrassment at bay.

"So, what floor did you all reach today?" Logan asked, settling in for what was sure to be a long dinner. Fish and chicken were served, with everyone choosing their preferred dish.

He loved the buffet-style feast laid out before him, relishing the freedom to pick whatever he wished.

Just as someone was about to respondto his question, more people entered—Kai, Chloe, Irma, Bobby, Ruben, Wayana (one of his warks, who had gained even more human-like appearance), and several other heroes.

By now, Logan's table had expanded significantly, and with more servants at his disposal, unexpected guests didn't bother him. Given how rarely he was home, the lively gathering felt more like an extension of their time at the inn.

"We made it to floor 68," Lisa explained, feeling the strain in her core from excessive healing. "We'll need to get stronger before reaching the boss room. Each team advanced two floors, where the monsters ranged from the high sixties to the early seventies in level."

"Sounds like you'll need a bigger team to take down the boss. Won't it be tough with just four of you?" Logan asked, speaking only after finishing a bite of his drumstick, hunger driving his pace.

"Yes, we'll start planning early. One group will clear floor 69, and then the other two teams will enter to fight the level 70 boss," Rubina said while carefully seasoning her fish. "It appears to be some kind of sphinx. Based on the creatures we've encountered, we can guess they're smaller versions of what we'll be facing. And when I say small, I mean two to three meters long."

"Good. Take any of my tames if needed—for protection, at the very least," Logan replied, moving on to his salad just as Mr. Rosengard entered.

The Earl of Elris arrived with an air of satisfaction. He had a new lab where he could conduct his experiments, as well as a teleportation device set up near it, allowing him to return to his mansion with ease.

"I suppose I came just in time," he remarked as his maid served him. He took a seat near Rubina and began eating.

"Yes, get extra servings. As always, eat until you're satisfied," Logan added, as food rapidly disappeared from the table. Within twenty minutes, everyone had leaned back, ready for an earnest discussion.

Victor Rosengard cleared his throat. "I came to inform you about what happened with the hero of fire, Brian. Of course, Elris concealed the details of his actions, but the conditions imposed on him prevent him from moving to other kingdoms. From what I can tell, no kingdom would risk taking him, considering what he could do to their troops. And with so many other heroes, they don't need to."

"Good. We don't need him stirring up trouble here," Logan replied, thinking that Brian had gotten off rather lightly. Still, Elris had no reason to push for his advancement or protection, making the situation convenient for Logan. He had no desire to visit Elris or deal with Brian, so this worked in his favor.

"We still have to be wearing of him, that guy might be mentally unstable now that his two friends are dead," Bobby said with disdain, the boy had been pushed out of Elris because of Brian who thought of him as a leech due to his class.

"I'll see what I can do… Maybe I can have one of my monsters track him," Logan mused, turning his thoughts to Noctur—the night weasel he had tamed months ago. Once a key asset in the battle against Rosethorn, the creature had reached level 72 and had become highly adept at spying and keeping demons at bay.

Over time, Noctur had cultivated an army of shadows, perfecting the art of stealth. Even Yui, the Ninja hero, had praised their abilities, working alongside them to refine her own techniques while ensuring the safety of Rosethorn—a city where the abundance of bars and casinos often complicated law enforcement efforts.

As for the weasel itself, it could seamlessly blend into the darkness, its three-meter-long form capable of shifting in size to slip effortlessly into the shadows, just like some of Logan's other creatures.

The mission for Noctur, the night weasel, would be to keep tabs on Brian, using a communication crystal to relay information. However, translating the creature's signals would require a new invention—something only Marie could develop. Logan had no doubt that she would be able to complete the task.

"Well, I guess that's most of the news for tonight. I'll be fighting the hydra tomorrow, so if anything happens in the labyrinth, try to make sure it's after I deal with the creature," Logan said, exhaustion weighing on him. He almost let out a yawn but forced himself to stay alert, determined to take a long-overdue bath.

As he stood up to excuse himself he noticed Lisa also get up, she walked after him as he excused himself from the table.

[Did you also want to take a bath?] Logan asked telepathically as he smiled and slowed down his pace to walk beside her. As always, she looked stunning—her platinum hair elegantly tied in a bun, with a few strands framing her face. She wore a silver kimono adorned with gold accents, a gift he had brought from the tree tribe in the Verdant Lands. The garment suited her perfectly, complementing her overall presence.

[Sure? Why not, I came late so I did not have time so far, we can so have a bit of fun right?] She teased making Logan expectant, he naturally came closer and held her by the waist as they both entered his private bathing area together.
