Chapter 526: 526. A Mission (2)

Kitty thought about the big mutated rats that he had encountered so far and didn’t feel too good. Many of these rats were bigger than him back then and it made him annoyed and angry.

He’s the cat, but how come he’s smaller than a group of big mutated rats?

Now that Kitty had become bigger, would he still be smaller than the group of big mutated rats?

Kitty was curious.

"Meow?" so when are we going?

Dylan patted Kitty’s head because he thought that the cat was complaining. After all, Dylan couldn’t speak animal’s language and didn’t really understand what Kitty was talking about.

Kitty saw Dylan’s expression and rolled his eyes.

This human didn’t understand what he was talking about.

"So our missions would be to hunt those big mutated rats," Anna muttered and then shrugged. "In any case, Kitty should be able to help us hunt the big mutated rats."

"Meow." Kitty’s whiskers’ moved. novelbuddy.cσ๓

Don’t rely on him!

Kitty might like to hunt some big mutated rats and some other animals, but it was not like he was a professional big mutated rats’ hunters.

Besides, why the hell are they relying on a cat rather than themselves?

This is cat abuse!

What Kitty forgot was that as a ’combat pet’ he could go to the battlefield and go on his own to fight against the big mutated rats and other animals if it was ordered to do so. After all, such a valuable resource like this, why would they not use it?

It was unreasonable.

Dylan and Anna went to Mark and Lucy.

"The mission’s date is tomorrow," Mark said. He looked at Kitty, who had grown bigger again and then looked at Dylan. "Are you sure that Kitty can hunt those big mutated rats?"

Dylan glanced at Kitty. "He’s usually hunt other big mutated rats and other type of animals out there."

"Yes, Kitty is pretty strong," Anna replied with a smile.

"Meow." Those two are telling the truth!

Kitty raised his head proudly. When he followed Dylan and Anna, he had already fought against several big mutated animals out there. If it was only a few big mutated rats, Kitty was sure that he would be able to defeat them too.

Mark looked at Lucy’s appearance and chuckled. "Then I’ll trust you."

Alan was looking at Kitty and also felt that this cat was bigger than normal cat. Even if those big mutated rats were bigger than normal rats, Kitty that was bigger than normal cat should still be bigger than those big mutated rats.

In this way, their mission shouldn’t be that hard.

The nest that the base found was a relatively small big mutated rats’ nest. Normally speaking, one team would be enough to deal with the small nest because they were not very strong.

But now, Dylan and Anna were dragged together to do this small mission.

Mark was thinking about this and guessed that they should have some other intention when asking Dylan and Anna to come with them. After all, he knew very well how powerful Dylan and Anna were.

As for Kitty?

Well, this kind of mission could only be used for training for Kitty.

Those big mutated rats would not be a match against Kitty who was very powerful and could even fight alongside Dylan and Anna when they were fighting the extremely large mutated animal.

Speaking of that extremely large mutated animal... the meat was really delicious.

Mark and Lucy could feel that the improvement in terms of strength was far from comparable from the vegetables that Anna brought to them, but it was definitely far more than ordinary big mutated animals’ meat that they could find.

It was good.

Now that they were going to hunt some big mutated rats, they couldn’t really eat the meat from these big mutated rats, though.

Not everyone like eating big mutated rats’ meat.

But it would still be handed over to the base... after all, the canteen here that sold some cooked meat porridge for free used big mutated rats’ meat.

"It’s been a while since we see each other. How about if we talk more for now, Anna?" Lucy interrupted and hugged Anna closer.

She wanted to spend more time with Anna since it was impossible for her to do that in normal times.

They were too busy!

Not to mention, there were still various other things they have to do such as fighting against other big mutated animals out there.

"Hey, hey, hey," Anna complained.

The two girls had a tug with each other with a laugh while the two men looked at each other and silently shook their head.

It seemed that they were going to talk about other things for now.

"Do you think that they have other intentions for asking us to be the one fighting?" Mark asked as he put away his phone.

He had read the mission’s details and also the map for the mission, but he still felt that it was rather strange for them to be asked to deal with the small big mutated rats’ nest. After all, Mark knew very well that these big mutated rats were not that strong.

His team would be enough.

Why drag Dylan and Anna to the mission?

Thinking about Dylan and Anna’s abilities, Mark felt that asking these two to make a move against the big mutated rats... would be an extremely overkill.

It would be a waste of resources.

Rather than fighting against these big mutated rats, it would be better for Dylan and Anna to head out to do other missions.

"How should I know?" Dylan’s lips twitched. "My plan is to rest for a period of time and stay peacefully. Who would have thought that Uncle will send me such a mission like this hunting the big mutated rats’ nest?"

"Forget it, we just have to do the mission well..." Mark shrugged.

Dylan nodded and turned to look at Anna, who was still talking with Lucy and at Kitty not far from them.

Dylan: "..." He felt he was being abandoned.
