"It looks like Transcendental Experience is helping a lot, I wanted to unlock all the skills of the spirit aspect, but perhaps I should focus on this instead, at least until it reaches the highest level possible," Rain thought. "Everyone’s Transcendental Support should be higher level than mine, so their power is piling up fast... but considering that we lost half of our forces unless that skill reaches level five hundred or something, the differences will be minimal."

As Rain thought about that, his keen senses remained attuned to the vast expanse of space around him. Amidst his introspection, a glimmering point in the distance gradually grew in size and radiance, drawing his attention like a beacon in the darkness. Rain recognized the unmistakable signature of Arel’s base, the point of their impending confrontation.

The distant spectacle shimmered and shone with an intensity that bespoke its formidable stature, a testament to the sheer magnitude of power and influence that Arel commanded. As the base loomed larger on the cosmic horizon, Rain felt a surge of determination coursing through him, his resolve strengthened by the knowledge that their long-awaited showdown was finally at hand.

With each passing moment, the luminous presence of Arel’s base grew more prominent, its ethereal glow serving as a stark reminder of the challenges that lay ahead...

"... Didn’t I arrive a lot sooner than I had expected?" Rain thought while furrowing his eyebrows. "Something was off."

After using Remote Viewing, Rain confirmed that he wasn’t wrong. He was arriving at the enemy’s territory. That red supergiant star possessed dimensions that defy comprehension, dwarfing even the most colossal celestial bodies in its vicinity. Its appearance is nothing short of awe-inspiring, evoking a sense of wonder and insignificance in those who gaze upon it.

With a radius nearly 1,700 times greater than that of our Sun, UY Scuti stretched across vast swathes of space, its immense size commanding attention from all who behold it. Its surface ripples and undulates with fiery turbulence, churning and roiling with the energy of a thousand suns. Brilliant tendrils of incandescent gas and plasma swirl and dance across its surface, painting a mesmerizing tapestry of light and shadow against the backdrop of the cosmos.

Despite its colossal dimensions, UY Scuti possesses a certain ethereal beauty, its fiery glow casting a warm and inviting radiance that beckons observers to venture closer. Yet, beneath its serene exterior lies a maelstrom of primal forces, where nuclear fusion rages unchecked, and the laws of physics are pushed to their limits.

"I guess they must be hurrying up in order not to give us time to think or plan anything," Rain thought. "Since I am alone and the dragon god is nowhere to be seen, they should relax a bit. Knowing what happened before, she will probably try to deal with me by herself."

The area ahead was getting hotter, and the planets were starting to look more and more head as well, thanks to that star. Getting closer will be dangerous, but Rain had the Fire Immunity skill now, so he should be able to endure it and become more resistant at the same time.

While Rain was thinking about that, his instincts began to warn him, and he immediately looked in the direction of that star... after a couple of seconds, he saw a giant blast of fire crossing the void of space toward the planet that he was on. Rain had planned to absorb some of the energy of Arel attacks, but... that was too much energy. Even a single second of getting hit by that will definitely burn him until he becomes nothing.

Rain used Teleport and then left that planet to the closest. He checked the previous one, which was hit by the massive cannon of fire and literally became small fragments of dust in space after a few seconds.

"... Shit," Rain thought while showing on his face his exasperation.

In the vacuum of space, traditional forms of combustion as we know them on Earth, such as those fueled by oxygen, cannot occur due to the lack of an oxidizing agent. However, there are other ways in which energy and heat can manifest in space.

One such example is through the intense radiation emitted by stars. Stars like our Sun produce immense amounts of energy through nuclear fusion reactions occurring in their cores. This energy radiates outwards in the form of heat and light, creating the fiery brilliance we observe from afar. While this "fire" is not the same as combustion, it represents a powerful release of energy that can travel through the vacuum of space.

Either way, that wasn’t a good sign... Rain’s instincts were warning him, and soon, another massive fire cannon crossed the vacuum of space to hit the next planet as well... Rain teleported away to the void in order to avoid letting other planets be destroyed. Even if he wasn’t getting the help from all of the spirits of those words, they didn’t have to be destroyed like that.

"I am being pulled as well... it feels like she can’t only control and absorb the energy of everything, but she can control them in their initial stage..." Rain thought. "This will be a pain."

Several blasts of fire began to cross space, and at the same moment Rain teleported, they would change directions to follow him... only when they were really close to him was that Rain could avoid them... still, his skin began to burn thanks to that.

"I am barely noticing any difference..." Rain thought. "I also barely have time to absorb this heat... I guess I will just have to endure this while I can. Hope that I can just endure this until the very end before actually dying..."
