** Longer Chapter **

With a bright flash of light, six Elven males ranging in age but all presently having a three-star potential dropped to one knee and saluted Aoni.

"We greet our Lord." They said in unison, while Aoni appraised their passive lists.

"You all may rise. I have already given your names to my secretary," Aoni continued, turning his body and motioning for Ellewen to step forward.

"Ellewen, go ahead and get them settled in. Once that is finished, have them report to your husband, and he can brief them on their duties."

"As you wish, milord." The elven mother said politely before carting off the six new individuals; however, Aoni was already lost in the wave of notifications that came along with the last batch of Summons.

'Talath Nûr, ' Aoni said without hesitation, as he had long since decided on what to call the newly built budding city.

Closing his eyes and experiencing the sudden rise of his stats for the third time (happened when he reached 20 summons, and now 30), a faint grin crept across Aoni's lips.

"Never ceases to amaze me, you do realize how abnormal this is, right? You being able to tank your way through Lord buffs…" Taking a bite out of an apple, Charlotte seemed to appear all of a sudden and was leaning against the wall.

"For us normies who don't have insane pain resistance ranks, we have to be extremely careful when doing mass summonings. Anyway, what did you end up naming this place?" Pushing off the wall and examining her brother from top to bottom, Char asked with a playful tone.

"…"

"Ao…"

"Uh…"

"Aoni…"

"Okay listen…"

"Tell me it wasn't something dumb like Cave Town…"

"No…" Looking away with his eyes darting around the room, Aoni quickly rebutted, only to get chopped in the head as per usual.

"What…DID…YOU…NAME…IT!"

"Talath Nûr…I named it Talath Nûr, okay, it was the only thing that came to mind."

After saying the name aloud for his sister, Aoni felt the sudden urge to flee, because while he hadn't called his new Village something like Cave Town…he did call it Cavern Village in Elvish, something he'd come across in one of the many textbooks he'd translated.

FWOOSHH

"And where the hell do you think you are running off to?" Appearing before Aoni out of his own shadow, Charlotte snatched him off the ground by his collar before he could enter the safety of his Office.

"Really, Ao, REALLY, Cavern Village, You seriously named it that, no, you know what, not my problem, you're the one who's gonna get hazed by his followers, not me." Tossing him like a rag doll into the Office, Charlotte closed the door and went to play with Glacia and Blixt.

Safely hidden within the hallowed walls of his sanctum of solitude…yep, he's calling it that now, Aoni stared up at his TD with glazed-over eyes.

Not only had he blasted past the half-million point mark, but his stats…they were already in the C-Rank range. Yet, even with that being the case, his Rank's still didn't move, further exacerbating his Attribute Notice's wise words long ago, (few weeks at best maybe), about how the Veeramon Score was a crock of shit.

"Fortunately, I don't need to get retested anytime soon," Aoni mused while bouncing to his feet and looking out the window of his Manor.

What was once a desolate cavern village now teemed with life as the new residents moved about, learning the layout of their new homes.

"To think I've come this far in such a short amount of time, it's kind of crazy…When I first imagined getting my own Territory and becoming a lord, I never would have thought I'd be rejuvenating a long-forgotten race of hybrid elves such as the Varnithm. Yet, here we are…living in a cavern village…hehe."

Turning away from the window, Aoni plopped down in his chair and opened the Lord's Display for the first time.

Unlike all his other displays, this one didn't merely manifest as a floating ethereal window—nope. Instead, a full-blown 3-dimensional hologram model formed in front of his eyes, one that only he would be able to see unless Aoni decided to let others see by giving them the equivalent of Admin rights.

Now, that didn't mean there wasn't a window, because there was one, it's just the main feature was this map. Through it, so long as he had appropriate resources on hand, making any type of changes to the Village was totally possible.

Some would even say the functions of the Lord's display turned all the work a lord spent in BUILDING their villages counterproductive; however, it really wasn't that bad, because you needed first to establish a foundation and work from there.

After spending some time playing with the 3d model, Aoni went ahead and checked out the stats of his Village.

'Hm, everything seems satisfactory for now, with Famitil setting up the Garrison that should change from N/A to the number of Soldiers I have.'

*Knock Knock*

"Come in,"

"Milord, I've brought you some coffee." After being allowed into the room, Ellewen smiled before walking over to him, carrying a fresh pot and an empty mug.

"Thanks, Elle, how'd it go with the new guys?" Aoni asked while watching the Elven woman pour him a cup and pass it over.

"It went well, they were a bit amazed at their living arrangements, but milord, we really do need to do something about the gender discrepancy between males and females, if not…"

*Sip*

"Yeah, I know, I'm still going through all my resources at the moment, so I had to make a judgment call when it came to having couples or able-bodied soldiers for the garrison. After all, not every family is set up like yours was." Wearing a knowing smile, Aoni enjoyed the black coffee, savoring the bitter taste before placing his mug down.

"Um…I do have a question though milord…about the name…"

"Well…haha, well, um…"

"It's fine, milord, from what I've gathered, the moment you were able to establish our new home as a village, we all knew its name naturally, and were quite pleased to see that you chose something in our native tongue." Covering her mouth with a hand, Ellewen tried not to giggle at Aoni's panic, causing his cheeks to redden in embarrassment.

---

After a bit more teasing from his Maid/Secretary, Aoni left the solitude of his Office and went out to mingle with his new subordinates, picking up Nyria along the way.

"Any thoughts about the elves?" He asked while scratching his birb's beak.

{'They younglings are all so adorable, and much more pleasant to be around than annoying stinky Blixt.'} She said with a huff pout.

"Hey, that's what little brothers are for, haha, what about Kuu and Guu, I saw you guys flying around together, so having some little sisters must be nice, amirite, big sis Nyria?" Aoni teased while watching her reaction.

{'Kuu is lazy, but Guu is sweet, plus since the three of us can fly, of course we would get along.'}

"Well, better get used to it, my little fledgling, because from here on out, our family will be getting a lot bigger."

"Chee…"

Nodding her head cutely, Nyria tagged along while Aoni surveyed how his people were settling in. After a period of rapid growth, it was time to consolidate his gains before moving forward with the next big thing.

With his admission into college on the horizon, he had a limited amount of time to get things squared away here on Genovia, so the first thing on his list was establishing a Garrison, which started out as local Guards, and eventually, later on down the road, would become an Army.

Just thinking about all the things which would be required of him gave Aoni a headache, but as always, the plan was to stay steady and move one step forward at a time.

One thing older people always tend to say is that time moves faster as you grow older, and as Aoni stood before his Flume, for the first time, he really felt it.

Collectively, several months had passed since the day his Village was formed, and although he'd added a few new people to his population, the general look of Talath Nûr hadn't changed much, with the sole exception being that it was more lively.

Life was blooming, relationships were forming, and his Village was on course to transform into a Town in the coming year or so. As for Aoni…let's just say he no longer filled the role of a naive newbie traveler.

9 Genovian Months had passed, and in that short expanse of time, he'd truly transformed into something unrecognizable.

Wearing a cheeky smile, Aoni said his goodbyes to Glacia, who was now the size of Kuro, and Nyria, who stood as tall as him. After uttering the command to his Flume, it was finally off to a battlefield unlike any other he'd faced here on Genovia…College
