SOHEE stayed in the dining hall when he picked up Chairman Kim Hyungsik’s call while Kim Heedo went to the balcony.

The kid wanted to smoke, so he went there while picking up his mother’s call.

"Hello, Grandfather," Sohee greeted the chairman politely, bowing even though the chairman couldn’t see him anyway. "Have you been well?"

<"Yes, of course. I have you as my grandson-in-law, after all.">

It’s a relief that I brought luck to their family, or else, the chairman would have kicked me to the curb already.

"I’m glad to hear that, Grandfather. May I know what this call is for?"

The chairman wasn’t the type to call Sohee just because he wanted to know how he was doing.

Heedo stayed on the balcony instead of going back inside to smoke.

Maybe I should have treated Lee Junsu better when we were together. Had I introduced him to my parents as my lover instead of a good friend from the start, maybe Eomma and Abeoji would have supported my relationship with him.

There were so many "what ifs’ in their relationship.

Now Heedo was filled with guilt.

Maybe I should see my relationship with Lee Junsu from a different perspective.

Shaman Jung then ended the call.

"You’re meeting up with the esteemed shaman?"

Sohee raised his head and found Kim Heedo who had just returned after taking a smoke on the balcony. "Yes, Jung-nim said he needs to replenish the blessing that he put in here." He pointed at the diamond stud earring he was wearing. "Apparently, the stalker’s bad intention has tainted the earring’s protection."

Kim Heedo sat across from him. "Why didn’t he just summon you to his temple?"

"Oh, Jung-nim said he has a personal errand that he needs to run in Seoul."

"Should I accompany Hyung?"

"Nah, he said I could come alone since your earring is still fine."

"Will you be alright meeting the esteemed shama alone, Hyung?"

"Don’t trust the shaman too much, Hyung," Kim Heedo said while picking up the chopsticks. "I still can’t trust him after all this time."

"Alright, I’ll keep that in mind," Sohee said, and then he put a whole sushi in his mouth. Kim Heedo wouldn’t start eating until he did first since he was older. It was surprising, but Kim Heedo actually had good manners despite acting like a rebellious teenager most of the time. "Anyway, why did Mother-in-law call? Your grandfather called because he heard about what happened to me. Is that the same case for you?"

"Yes. I forgot to tell Hyung that Miss Nam is actually Eomma’s friend."

"Ah, no wonder the nurse is too nice to me."

"Eomma said she’ll help Jaewon and the others with the investigation, so Hyung should rest for now."

His friends came to his apartment unannounced with that stupid cake.

"It’s the grandson of the Navi Group," Yang Jaewon said. "And he’s the ex-boyfriend of the first Omega you hooked up with after Lee Junsu dumped you."
