Kim Heedo didn’t expect his hook-up the other night to approach him while he was with his friends in a coffee shop while waiting for Hong Sera.

Now Heedo had no choice but to face his hook-up alone.

"You were already gone when I woke up, Heedo-ya," Ho Changmin said, and it looked like he was already on the verge of crying. "Did I do something wrong?"

Ah, this was why Heedo left the hotel while Ho Changmin was still asleep.

Heedo thought he ended it neatly with Ho Changmin— but he was wrong.

Hong Sera, who was dolled up for the occasion, rolled her eyes. "Just don’t make a scene or else, we’re both gonna be scolded by my parents."

The occasion in question was the launch of Daesung Group’s new chocolate pie.

Well, to be precise, it was an old product that had a rebranding.

’Daebak Choco Pie’ was the name of the chocolate pie that was a staple Korean snack from a long time ago. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that it was the product that practically built the Daesung Group into a conglomerate that it was today.

"Thank you, Unnie," Hong Sera said to Cha Beom, and then she turned to Heedo. "Go, but don’t be a homewrecker. Just get the closure that you need."

Heedo avoided Hong Sera’s judgmental eyes. "Thank you, Sera-ya."

After that, he left the ballroom and went straight to the parlor room.

It was supposed to be Kosmos’ private lounge.

But when Heedo arrived there, only Lee Junsu was there.

Ah, he’s still as pretty as ever.

Just like his band mates, Lee Junsu wore an earth-colored suit that complemented his complexion.

Junsu dyed his hair again...

"Is sleeping my friend a part of your revenge?"

"I didn’t know Ho Changmin was your friend," Heedo insisted, clenching his hands tight. "Had I known he was Kang Sul, I wouldn’t even glance his way."

"But you did because he has grown into a beautiful Omega, right?"

"Junsu-ya."

"Be careful, Heedo-ya," Lee Junsu said in a serious tone. "As far as I know, Ho Changmin is already involved with another Alpha. They’re in an off-and-on relationship, and they’re currently on a break. But if that Alpha finds out that you slept with Ho Changmin, he might get mad."

"You don’t have to worry about that— I won’t be meeting Ho Changmin again."

"Yes, you should find someone else who is 100% single."

"Do you really mean that, Junsu-ya?"

"I’m glad you’re finally moving on from me, Heedo-ya," Lee Junsu said, smiling. "I hope you find the right Omega for you soon. After all, Alphas belong to Omegas."

Hearing that from Lee Junsu pissed him off, and so...

"Don’t worry, I already found the right Omega for me," Heedo lied bitterly. "And I’m going to marry him soon."

That was a lie.

"I REMEMBER I wanted to confront Ho Changmin for hiding his identity from me, but that was when we received the news that he was beaten up," Kim Heedo knitted his eyebrows, confused. "But if Ho Changmin’s ex-boyfriend was the culprit, does it mean he beat up Ho Changmin? It doesn’t make sense."

Right now, Heedo was brainstorming with his friends while eating cake.

And they were starting to see the bigger picture now.

"And remember the message the culprit left?" Yang Jaewon added. "He warned everyone to stay away from you because he wanted you all to himself. That’s why we assumed that he’s a stalker who’s obsessed with you. But that doesn’t seem to be the case."

"But maybe the culprit only left that message to confuse us," Hong Sera said. "That, or he wanted to isolate Kim Heedo from other people. Remember how everyone avoided our Heedo during that time? Especially the Omegas."

"The culprit is already in hiding, but there’s someone we can interrogate," Kwon Gaon said, eating the last slice of cake. "Should we confront Ho Changmin?"

Heedo nodded in agreement. "Maybe the culprit will come out if I approach Ho Changmin on purpose."
