Sohee just smiled while shaking his head.

"The twins are home already," Sohee informed Kim Heedo while his husband was driving. It made sense that the twins got home before them since Kim Heedo’s parents’ house was closer to the hospital than their apartment. "You should send your parents a message, Heedo-ya. Tell them that Kim Hanhae has already received proper treatment for his broken shoulder. Then apologize for hurting your little brother."

Kim Heedo didn’t apologize to Kim Hanhae, but it seemed like the brothers had already forgotten about their fight.

I can’t force the two to apologize to each other if they’re not ready yet.

However, Kim Heedo owed his parents an apology for breaking Kim Hanhae’s shoulder.

"Yes, it was Ahn Yujae," Sohee confirmed while nodding. "We grew close after that incident. He was the one who encouraged me to study harder to get a scholarship in the same high school as him. That was how I ended up in the same school as him even though I was dirt poor."

Sohee and Ahn Yujae were close in high school, but they didn’t date back then.

Now that I’m thinking about it, I guess we didn’t date back then because Cha Jinha kept reminding me that Ahn Yujae deserved someone on his "level."

"I kept an eye on that person. If he didn’t take a leave of absence on his own, then I would have given him a reason to do so."

"Like how you gave Lim Jinwook a reason to take a leave of absence, too?"

Lim Jinwook was a chaebol like Kim Heedo.

And he was the one who protected Kim Heedo’s stalker who ended up hurting me.

"It was Lim Jinwook’s choice to take a leave of absence after we made a deal," Kim Heedo said, shrugging unapologetically. "He’s lucky I didn’t get our families involved in the fight. If I did, his father would have been kicked out of the succession war."

"Heedo-ya, I’m more determined to live a safe and peaceful life from now on," Sohee said, even raising his hand as if he were taking an oath. "I don’t want more people to take a leave of absence because they got involved with me."

"It wasn’t your fault, Hyung. They started it," Kim Heedo said firmly. "But good thinking— let’s live a peaceful life from now on."

"AHJUSSI, I need you to find someone for me," Kim Heedo said while leaning against the railing of the balcony. He went there to make a phone call while Park Sohee was in the shower. "I don’t have a name, but that person was a teacher who assaulted Sohee Hyung in middle school. Find him, but don’t let Sohee Hyung and my family know."

Heedo then ended the call.
