Pregnant During An Apocalypse [BL]-Chapter 254 - New kink
Chapter 254: Chapter 254 - New kink
Zei sat hunched on the worn-out sofa, arms crossed loosely over his chest, his brows knitted in thought. The dim lighting of the house cast long shadows across the room, but his eyes remained fixed on the hallway where Shao and Jai had just disappeared.
Something was off.
A strange heaviness had settled in the air the moment those two had walked in. Shao’s usually distant gaze had been... different. Softer. And Jai... Jai had looked like he’d just run a marathon and gotten kissed by a thunderstorm all at once.
Zei blinked slowly with a pout. There was something—something very, very important—that had just happened, and yet... he had forgotten what it was. It gnawed at the back of his mind, a vague sense of having walked in on the tail-end of something intimate.
He chewed on his bottom lip, eyes narrowing. From where he sat, he hadn’t been able to see clearly, but he’d definitely caught a glimpse of the way Shao had stood behind Jai, arms loosely circling him in a half-embrace. His hands had gently tugged Jai’s torn shirt closed, fingers lingering a little too long on fabric and skin.
"Don’t you think they’re acting weird...?" he muttered aloud, half to himself, half to Muchen, who was still standing like a statue near the hallway.
Muchen’s eyes were still glued to the hallway, as if seeing through the walls.
Zei turned toward him, his voice a little louder this time. "Your friend and Jai... are they together?"
Muchen sighed softly, like all the breath had left his chest and hadn’t come back yet. "I don’t know," he said at last, his voice distant. His shoulders slumped further as he finally turned away from the hallway. "If something’s happening between them... Shao will tell me. When he’s ready."
But Zei didn’t miss the strain in Muchen’s voice, the flicker of conflict that passed through his eyes.
Muchen rubbed his face tiredly and left the room without another word.
He walked quickly down the narrow hallway.
His heart clenched as he pushed open the door to their room. The warm light of a small lamp spilled across the bed where Yunfeng lay sleeping. The lines of pain on his lover’s face had softened, his breaths slow and steady, chest rising and falling with a rhythm that Muchen counted like a prayer.
He moved closer, pulled a chair up to the bedside, and sat down heavily.
Yunfeng’s hand was cold when he took it, but alive—blessedly alive. Muchen’s thumb brushed over the back of it, trembling slightly.
"You’re still here..." he whispered, his throat tightening. "You scared the hell out of me, you know that?"
There was no response, only the slow breath of someone lost deep in a medicated sleep. But Muchen kept talking anyway.
The transfusion helped. Yunfeng’s face got a little color back. But he was still pale as a ghost.
He leaned in, cradling Yunfeng’s hand against his chest. His voice cracked as he murmured, "I thought I was going to lose you. I kept thinking—if I’d been faster, if I’d noticed the signs earlier, if I hadn’t let you push yourself so hard..."
A tear slipped down his cheek.
"I can’t do this without you," he whispered brokenly. "You’ve always been the strong one, but right now I need you to let me protect you. Just for a little while."
He stood, pushing back the blanket slightly, and lay down beside Yunfeng as carefully as he could. The bed creaked under his weight, but Yunfeng didn’t stir.
Gently, he took Yunfeng’s hand and placed it on his stomach, his own hand curling around it protectively.
"I’ll protect you Yunfeng.... Even.. even if you cant see in your life.. I’ll be your eyes and I’ll see for you." he said quietly. "I’ll always be there for you my love,"

Jai, who was suddenly once again alone in a room with Shao, began to feel awkward and embarrassed.
His fingers tugged at the shirt, trying not to make eye contact, unsure of what would happen next.
The silence between them stretched.
He felt Shao pull him gently toward the bed.
Jai stiffened slightly, breath catching. ’What... are we going to continue...?’ he wondered, heart pounding like a drum.
To his surprise, Shao didn’t answer. Instead, he lifted Jai up with ease and laid him down softly on the bed. The motion was calm, almost tender. Jai’s eyes widened, his limbs tense.
He felt the sheets cover him, tucking him in with quiet care. Shao did it gently, without a word, then turned and walked toward the bathroom attached to the room.
Jai blinked, now tucked in like a baby, alone on the bed. A dazed breath left his lips. ’Ahhhhh! What is this?! Why is my heart pounding so hard?!’
He rolled around in the bed, hugging the pillow beside him, burying his burning face against it. He felt completely flustered.
Shao... he had always seen him as a quiet man, hard to read, distant. But now—now he wasn’t sure anymore. That silent man had turned into something else entirely when he was doing... lewd things.
The way he had manhandled him felt.. felt amazing. He never knew his own body would react like that when dominated like that...
Jai wriggled around with a soft, giddy smile creeping onto his lips, caught in the haze of everything that had just happened.
Sudden movement caused his nipples to rub against the pillow. A soft gasp escaped him. The subtle feeling of soreness and tenderness made him freeze.
He paused.
With a shaky breath, he pulled his shirt away, gazing down at his body. His nipples were slightly swollen and red.
Shao had sucked and bit into them making them all red and tender.
Jai let out a deep breath, cheeks burning. Without thinking, he buried his entire body inside the sheets, tucking himself into a warm cocoon.
’I’m screwed... I think I really like being thrown down and taken...’
