The Female Cannon Fodder With Boundless Merits-Chapter 251 - 255 Interstellar Female Anchor (Part 2)
Chapter 251: Chapter 255 Interstellar Female Anchor (Part 2)
Not even allowed to see her family’s faces, Su Li was directly changed into new clothes and pushed onto a spacecraft.
In this era, technology had surpassed anything Su Li had ever seen.
Humanity had burst through the confines of their planet with the help of technology, yet highly advanced technology hadn’t allowed humans to conquer nature.
There were still many creatures naturally much more formidable than humans in the void of space, and it was only after many years that Psychic Ability Users emerged among humans, securing humanity’s foothold in this starry expanse.
This was a world where technology and superpowers were equally important.
As a Superpower User, one could attain an extremely high social status in society, since they were mainly relied upon for protection against Exotic Beasts.
Individuals like Su Huaiyuan, Qian Jin, and Yang Huai were all Superpower Users.
Whereas someone like the original owner, who lacked superpowers, could only do ordinary service work; but those who were pretty and charming had another path—they could become interstellar live-streaming hostesses, not only alleviating the burden of heavy workloads but also gaining the affection of many.
After all, the pressure on Superpower Users was immense, and these kinds of entertainment activities that could help people relax were very popular.
In reality, the original owner didn’t need to be a live-streaming hostess; the Su Family’s standing was respectable and they were not in need of the income that came with it.
Su Li had no idea why the original owner was so certain that they were devoid of any superpower.
It was only after Su Li was detained aboard the spaceship and the thick hatch door closed, silencing the entire space, that she noticed something abnormal about her body.
A blue Spirit Seed bearing a faint trace hid in the deepest recesses of her mind—a seed so small, the size of a grain of rice, with jagged and uneven surfaces from where it had been torn.
As if it had been forcibly ripped apart.
Had it not been for Su Li’s arrival, the original owner would indeed never have discovered the awakening of their own Spirit Seed.
Su Li reviewed the original owner’s memories more carefully once again and discovered that all memories before the age of three were blank.
This led Su Li to speculate a bit.
But now was not the time to think about these things. Su Li felt the spaceship shudder beneath her, and the thick hatch door was opened from the outside.
Two tall men wearing heavy spacesuits and helmets slipped a paper bag over Su Li’s head and then directly hoisted her out.
Another man rudely stuffed a Medicine Pill into her mouth, which dissolved instantly upon contact, not even giving her a chance to spit it out.
Su Li felt she was taken away from the original spaceship by these two men, her captors, to another smaller spacecraft.
Throughout the journey, she hadn’t heard a whisper of other sounds, unsure if arrangements had been made or if there was some other reason.
The small spacecraft, as soon as Su Li boarded, shot out powerfully and swiftly.
When the paper bag was finally ripped from Su Li’s head, the two previously silent brutes removed their own helmets and casually threw them on the ground.
"Damn it, I’m nearly suffocated in this thing," one growled, annoyed at having to wear the gear.
"Keep it down, will you? If the employer hadn’t offered so much money, I wouldn’t have joined you on this risky job of extracting someone—a massive provocation against the Federation. The last thing I want is to be hunted by them for a century," the other cautioned.
The two strong men with blond hair and blue eyes didn’t care for Su Li’s presence at all, discussing openly with brazenness.
Not considering Su Li a threat in the least, they were confident she couldn’t escape the palms of their hands.
"Yo, this little girl’s quite the beauty. The guys back at the prison are gonna be ecstatic," one remarked with a hint of glee.
"The only question is if she’s got enough fight in her, maybe I should have a taste first," Bro licked his lips, a hunter’s glint in his eyes, as he looked at Su Li, barely containing his eagerness.
Before Bro could reach out, Lance smacked him on the head, "Have you lost your mind? We are prison guards."
Bro immediately spread his hands in surrender, "Alright, have it your way."
Su Li knew, however, that this was only a temporary concession from Bro. The veiled glances he threw her way were laced with a disgusting greasiness.
Lance was well aware of his partner’s temperament but didn’t say anything. It was fine as long as these things weren’t done in front of him.
What a ridiculous standard to uphold.
Su Li: "Where are you planning to take me? This isn’t the way to Sky Blue Star."
With an exaggerated laugh, Bro said, "Beauty, you’ve finally realized. Congratulations, you’ve offended someone you shouldn’t have, and you are about to be taken to the Void Sea Planet’s first prison."
After saying this, Bro was ready to witness the beauty’s panic and screams; these rich young ladies always acted this way.
Judging by the beauty’s attire, her background was definitely affluent, what a pity...
Bro did not harbor the slightest sympathy for these women—if he had, how could he even get a taste of these pretty girls’ sweet flavors?
The first prison on Void Sea Planet was famously notorious throughout the Federation, albeit for all the wrong reasons.
Bro waited a long time, but the anticipated screams of panic did not materialize.
Instead, Su Li smiled at him, "Is that so? I’m rather looking forward to it."
Even Lance was shocked by her response. Could this girl be a fool?
To look forward to that place of despair? She couldn’t possibly misunderstand the tragic fate that awaited her.
Bro dug into his ear, "What did you just say?"
Su Li: "Could it be your ears are bad, or do you need me to repeat myself?"
Bro immediately grew furious; how dare this little girl speak to him in such a manner? He despised when people acted high and mighty, it brought back a lot of unpleasant memories for him.
Bro squeezed his hand, ready to teach this ignorant fool a lesson.
Not being allowed to harm her didn’t mean he couldn’t take some small advantage.
Lance frowned and spoke in a low voice, "Don’t go too far with your hands."
Though this woman likely wouldn’t survive long in the prison, she definitely couldn’t die at their hands. That was his principle as a prison guard.
"Got it." Seeing Lance turn away with disinterest, Bro revealed a ferocious smile and rubbed his palms together as he moved closer to Su Li.
Su Li: "I advise you not to do this."
Bro took her words as a final futile struggle, "Are you trying to tell me who your father is, or your mother, or some other relative or friend?"
"No, no, no, I don’t care at all. Everyone thrown into Xu Hai Prison never gets another chance to come out. I absolutely don’t mind the fact that you might want to avenge yourself on me."
Bro believed he’d experienced enough of these scenarios to arrogantly finish Su Li’s sentence for her.
Su Li stood unmoved, with no attempts to struggle or flee. She simply looked at Bro as if he were a dead thing, "The last person who offended me probably has quite high grass growing over their grave by now."
As for Su Li’s gaze, Bro was quite offended, taking it for nothing more than bluffing.
The younger and softer the girl looked, the more thrilling the struggle would be. Even if he couldn’t taste her right away, a touch was good enough.
