Shrouded Seascape-Chapter 1095. Killing
Chapter 1095. Killing
Anna used all her strength to reach out toward Daniel's throat with her hand wreathed in green, corrosive flames.
Daniel leaned backward to avoid the flames that seemed to be capable of incinerating everything. The fire grazed the fine hairs on his skin, reducing them to mere ashes.
The cluster of flames on Anna's hand condensed into a ball and flew toward Daniel's back.
Daniel somersaulted to turn his chest toward the oncoming attack, and the agape door on his chest devoured the fireball.
Pop!
A rivet popped out from beside Anna's foot, and it flew toward Anna's calf.
It flew so fast that it left behind an afterimage. Naturally, its extreme speed meant that the rivet would deal damage no less than a bullet.
Before the rivet could bury itself into Anna's calf, a crystal popped out of Anna's flesh, colliding with the oncoming rivet and causing a crisp clink.
The quick but intense exchange of moves between the two left them slightly out of breath. However, their expressions revealed no signs of exhaustion as they faced each other once again.
Anna's expression turned solemn. The man in front of her was different from those rookies earlier. His mastery over the special abilities within him was clearly a notch higher than those people.

Moreover, the other party seemed to be probing her abilities.
"Was that telekinesis? You have quite a few things under your sleeve. Did you obtain them by absorbing Anomalies? Probably not, right? Ordinary human beings can't possibly handle so many extra 'organs,'" Anna remarked.
Daniel remained unfazed, seemingly pondering over something.
"I assume your organization is new. What is it called? Perhaps I've already seen you guys in Subterranean London," Anna added.
Daniel's earpiece vibrated slightly, making him feel a bit relieved.
"You clearly watched too many TV shows. Did you really think I'd be like the villains in those shows and explain a bunch of things to you before making a move?
"And if we're talking about villains, then you people are the real villains. You guys are a group of terrorists trying to take over a country with your anomalous abilities!"
Daniel's emotional words answered a part of Anna's question. "Oh, I have no idea that you have quite a strong sense of justice. In that case, why not join the IMF?"
Daniel's face stiffened, looking slightly stunned to hear that.
Anna noticed that, and she couldn't help but say, "Wait, could it be that you guys are one of those anomalous organizations that the IMF has absorbed? Are they so short of people that they have to recruit even the likes of you?"
Instead of replying, a tinge of smugness spread across Daniel's face.
"Now," he muttered.
Anna staggered and fell to the ground, seemingly frozen in place.
Moments later, the third door to Anna's left was pushed open.
A woman wearing jeans walked out of the cabin with her arms crossed. She looked smug as she walked up to Daniel and gave him a high-five. "Done. She can't move a finger now."
Daniel walked up to Anna and pointed the withered, three-fingered claw in his hand at her head. "Did you really think that I'd fight you one-on-one? I'm sorry, but all's fair in war."
A purple light converged on the three-fingered claw, and it flew toward the crown of Anna's head.
Anna's figure trembled at a high frequency, and the purple light phased through her.
Before Daniel could react, Anna's hand pierced his abdomen. "You surface dwellers really are ignorant. You think that mental-type special abilities are rarely seen, so you often use them to deceive others.
"Unfortunately, I'm like your ancestor when it comes to mental-type abilities. Defending against mental-type attacks is even easier than eating and drinking for me."
A ruthless smile suffused Anna's lips.
Daniel retreated without any hesitation, kicking off the ground with both feet. The speed at which Anna could summon those green flames depended on how far she was from her target.
In other words, he absolutely couldn't stay near her!
Unfortunately, it was too late.
Anna tugged hard, and Daniel immediately felt something being dragged out of his stomach. He looked down and was stupefied to find that a huge chunk of his large intestine was being pulled out of his abdomen.
He couldn't let Anna control him, so Daniel decisively swiped at the intestines using the sharp nails of the withered three-fingered claw in his hand.
His large intestine was severed, and the pungent filth inside mixed with blood splattered all over the ground.
The severe injury filled Daniel's veins with adrenaline. He couldn't feel any pain, but he knew that his time was limited.
Knowing that he was going to die, a determined light flashed in Daniel's eyes. His figure split open, and a bronze door drilled out of him, pervading the entire corridor before rushing toward Anna like a runaway train.
However, he was no match for Anna even without any injuries, so how could he stand against Anna when he was severely injured?
Soon, the effects of adrenaline faded, and Daniel collapsed to the ground, clutching his abdomen with no visible wounds. His face was pale, and he looked utterly exhausted as cold sweat poured down his face due to the extreme pain.
Daniel used all his strength to look at Anna and saw that the latter had already murdered his female colleague using his intestines.
"Hehehe, how does it feel to have feces and blood filling up your stomach? It's not a pleasant sensation, is it?"
Anna casually tossed the purple corpse in her hand to the ground before walking toward Daniel.
The tables had turned.
Despite that, Daniel laughed boisterously, asking, "Do you really think that you've won? I lost, but you didn't win, either."
Squelch!
Anna reached into Daniel's skull and directly pulled the latter's brain out of his skull.
Splat!
Anna hurled Daniel's brain, dripping with cerebrospinal fluid, into the wall, and it shattered instantly upon impact.
"I have no time to waste talking to you," Anna muttered. She bent down and snatched the three-fingered claw from Daniel's hand. Then, she left to help the others on the luxury cruise.
Anna had just taken a few steps forward when a door at the end of the corridor behind her opened slowly, revealing a chubby man whose greasy face was marred by acne.
The chubby man's gaze subconsciously landed on Anna's ample breasts, and his face instantly turned red. He lowered his head, and his hands awkwardly rubbed the hem of his clothes.
A few seconds later, he looked up again, sweeping his gaze over Anna's exquisite face. The blush on his face vanished, and he looked more reserved as he asked, "H-hello, my name is Jin Zhehan. It's nice to meet you. May I know your name?"
"Huh?" Anna was momentarily at a loss. She had no idea where the chubby man had come from.
"S-sorry, I-I must've come on too strong. It was rude of me to ask for your name. I-I'm really sorry; I-it's because I-I have never really talked to a woman before."
Anna pointed at the corpse on the ground. "Do you know him?"
"I don't know him. What's wrong with him? Why is he sleeping on the ground?" the chubby man asked, casting a curious gaze at Daniel, who had no visible wounds.
"All right, just stay by his side. When he wakes up, go up to the deck and look for me," Anna said. Then, she cautiously made her way to the deck. It doesn't matter where he came from as long as he stays quiet and does nothing.
"P-Please wait a moment."
"P-Please wait a moment."
"P-Please wait a moment."
"P-Please wait a moment."
"P-Please wait a moment."
Anna's heart tightened upon hearing the cacophony of five voices with varying pitch coming from behind her.
