SpiderGwen: I have a system?!-Chapter 191: The Age of Apocalypse

The Age of Apocalypse was a...complicated world, very complicated. The world as a whole was similar to the mainline 616 universe, but was born thanks to a powerful mutant known as Legion going back in time, and messing shit up. And Earth 295 was born from that, born from the Charles Xavier of 616 dying early on, which then led to Apocalypse starting his conquest much earlier than he should have.

Apocalypse was...a problem. Gwen was confident in beating him, but the man had ingrained himself into that world, running and ruling the entirety of North America, and slaughtering anyone or anything that did not agree with him.

Most of Japan was gone. Parts of South America were gone, hell, most humans as a whole were wiped out. He made breeding camps to breed more of them, as if they were simple animals, pets even. He experimented on other mutants and utilized some truly messed up practices.

Gwen was going to kill the man, that much was certain. She planned on absorbing him with her power, giving her all the power that he had. And considering he had the same powers as his 616 counterpart, it was a lot, and it was incredibly powerful.

The Age of Apocalypse was more so important to her for the mutants she could recruit from there, that needed her aid, and more than anything, two objects of immense power that were in that world. freёnovelkiss.com

The Death Seed and the Life Seed.

Two objects made by the Celestials, some of the most powerful beings in all of existence. Beings that could end universes as if it was nothing, and beings that while they couldn't kill Gwen, could certainly cause her a whole lot of problems.

The Death seed was an object closely related to evolution, and as you'd assume, death. The seed granted powers related to death and it was an immense amount of power. Power that could potentially rival that of an average Phoenix host, the sort of power that Gwen was after, that could be helpful for the future, and would be important to Project Rebirth.

Only problem was...Apocalypse was it's current host.

The Life Seed on the other hand, would grant her immense power in the way of life. Her life force would be boosted to an absolutely massive amount, and is the rival/equal of the Death Seed. Things like resurrecting the dead, healing others, a boost to psychic energies, all sorts of things would be a product of her taking the Life Seed.

And unlike the Death seed, the life seed was not currently being used by anyone on Earth 295, from what she knew. It was hidden away on the planet, but would be easily enough to grab for herself, for project Rebirth.

The mutants on that planet were many, and most of them needed to be saved. There were copies of mutants that belonged to her Earth as well as new ones that didn't exist. Mutants like Jean Grey, Rogue, Magneto, Cyclops, all existed there. But there were also mutants like Nate Grey, who certainly did not exist on Earth 616-2.

Nate Grey was the son of Jean Grey and Scott Summers, after all. At least, the son of the ones in that world, and not naturally born, but instead lab grown. He was one of the most powerful mutants in not just his world, but ALL worlds. One of the most powerful in the multiverse.

He was the most powerful Telepath there was, at the very least. Likely even beyond what Gwen could do at the moment, and even beyond Jean, unless she utilized the Phoenix Force, then...it was a bit more complicated to predict.

Age of Apocalypse was easily the most important universe for her at the moment, but also the most complicated, and dangerous. As this wasn't even accounting for the Celestials and the Exterminators. The latter being a race that was literally built by the Celestials to get rid of their screw ups, and was not something Gwen could currently face, not only because of how strong they were, but also because there was an infinite amount of them.

'God this is a shit show' Gwen thought with a groan, realizing how shitty Earth 295 was, and how difficult this was going to be. She already planned on making thousands of clones in order to save them as quickly as possible, and easily as possible. She also knew that it was likely most mutants would accept her offer instantly in a world like that, due to the situations they were all put in.

The world was doomed either way, so she might as well save all the mutants she can. The ones that actually deserved to be saved at least. As there was also scum of the Earth like Dark Beast, who was a primary scientist in that reality that was experimenting on a lot of innocent mutants.

'Alright...let's see how this goes' Gwen thought with a sigh, as she got to her feet, power rippling out of her as space warped around her, and she disappeared with a soft "CRACK" sound.

Reappearing a moment later, Gwen blinked a few times as she adapted to the new universe, getting used to the different sensations of this universe compared to her own.

Her gaze traveled over Earth a few moments later, as she cringed in disgust at what was happening in North America. The things that Apocalypse and his people were doing was horrific, even by her standards.

'Christ this is worse than I thought' Gwen thought, frowning deeply as she began to produce mass amounts of clones around her, sending them off to begin the process of saving every mutant on this Earth, every mutant that deserved it.

At the same time, she sent off a clone to grab the Life Seed for her, so that it could send it back to her universe, into the safe vault that would keep it untouched and safe until the time came for Project Rebirth to come to fruition.

The death seed was something that she would personally be grabbing herself, as Apocalypse was not something one of her clones could just fight on their own. Had she sent a few hundred then he'd get slaughtered, but she would much rather take care of the man herself. That, and she wanted to absorb the man's power for herself, albeit after she takes the Death Seed out of him.

Gwen could see her clones begin to travel around the world, searching out the mutants that would be saved, the mutants in this world that weren't completely evil, like Dark Beast, Apocalypse, Mister Sinister, and several others of note.

She decided to also send out clones to wipe out certain evil mutants, like Dark Beast, ordering them to gather their bodies so she could absorb them for their knowledge later. She didn't like what she was doing, but she knew she sorta had to do it at this point. Mostly for the safety of the humans on this Earth.

Thousands of mutants would have to die for this, but it was worth it in the end. Saving the rest of the mutants which seemed to number in the hundreds of thousands to millions, as well as saving the remaining humans that didn't deserve the torture that they were being subjected to.

With the decision to go after Apocalypse made, Gwen looked off to New York, the primary city of Apocalypse, and his primary base. It was there that she saw him, sensed him, and it was there they would battle, and she would kill the monster that had subjected this world to incredible horror.

Getting to her feet from her seated position, Gwen stretched, as she looked off to the distance, lightning crackling around her as the grounds beneath her shook, and she took off in a burst of light speed, one thought on her mind as she did so.

'Time to kill Apocalypse!'
