SpiderGwen: I have a system?!-Chapter 192: One Punch

[3rd POV]

Disappearing in a burst of speed, Gwen zoomed through the United States at speeds far surpassing anyone in this universe, bar perhaps Apocalypse himself. She ran through buildings, through mountains, and through hills, effortlessly phasing through them all, as she made her way to New York of this world.

At the same time, around the world, her clones were getting to work. Saving thousands of mutants around the world, and transporting them to Malzif, but not before showing them what Malzif looked like, and what their lives could be like if they allowed her to bring them there.

She ripped apart the various experimentation facilities around the world, slaughtering the mutants inside that were subjecting fellow mutants to terrible, horrid experiments. Killing all of the evil ones and freeing the innocent mutants before transporting them to Malzif to where they would then be healed up, and given the option to either live in Malzif, or be transported to a place of their choice on Earth 295.

She suspected that they would all be choosing the former, at least, she very much hoped so. Otherwise she'd feel bad for them, even if it was their choice to stay, should they make that decision in the first place.

Her clones also traveled around the world gathering artifacts and other stuff that weren't being used, that were simply...sitting there. As this world was close to Earth 616 in terms of similarity, meaning there were a lot of artifacts that were on Earth, being unused due to the deaths of the Avengers, Fantastic 4, and plenty of others.

Another tactigon, and plenty more weapons were being gathered from around this universe, as they would be used in part of Project Rebirth.

After running for only a few moments, Gwen reappeared in New York, its buildings collapsed around the city, fires burning, and a large statue of Apocalypse in the center, showing just how much power he had over the place, and the conquering he had accomplished.

Looking at it, Gwen deadpanned "Well he's quite narcissistic" Gwen muttered, looking over the large statue that was likely built through slave labor, which was indeed a thing in this world, with humans being used as little more than cattle and slaves by Apocalypse.

Looking through the eyes of her clones, she saw as they were eliminating Apocalypse's soldiers around the country, at a rapid pace. With her current rate of progress, she doubted Apocalypse's "Empire" would be around for more than another hour or so.

Blinking, she felt one of her clones finally find the Life Seed, far off in a hidden location that it had tracked through magic and senses. She felt as her clone grabbed the seed of pure life, and sent it off to her secret vault in Malzif, where it would be kept safe until the time was right, which wouldn't be for quite some time, as she still had a lot to do, and a lot to gather before then.

With the Life Seed gathered, now she just had to get the Death Seed from Apocalypse himself, as she spread her senses around the city, finding many different camps where humans and mutants were kept, all sorts of weapons and defenses, and plenty more.

More clones split out of her to deal with all of those things before she entered the city. She didn't really want to deal with a bunch of defenses constantly attacking her, and she also didn't want any innocents to get caught in the crossfire, so she was having her clones deal with all of that, while she waited.

She could sense Apocalypse deeper in the city, he was powerful from what she could tell, likely strong enough to give her a good challenge, in normal cases at least. But she wasn't really interested in a long fight or anything, and wanted to end it quickly and easily, so once the clones had all the people saved and ready, she would go and take him out in one swift move.

'After this world is done with, I'll start sending clones off on their own to other worlds. I've already got the tech ready, and there is a few other worlds that I don't need to personally head to, just a handful of clones would be enough' Gwen thought, knowing that one of the major items for Project Rebirth was in one such world, being used by a powerful man who had taken over the entire world.

She would let the clone deal with that particular one though, as while powerful, the man couldn't utilize the full force of his gift, as he had no idea how to properly use it, for creativity was quite important to it.

After sitting for another 20 minutes, waiting for her clones to finish up their business, they were finally done, all the soldiers wiped out silently, all the innocents saved and in the case of the mutants taken to Malzif (should they allow her to), and in the case of the Humans were transported to Europe where they could be safer.

With the saving of the humans and mutants finished, Gwen grinned, as she took off with a burst of speed, ripping through the city like it was tissue paper, the broken and shattered buildings shaking as she tore through the center of the city, where Apocalypse stayed, and cocked her fist back, massive amounts of energy pouring through her fist, as she reappeared in front of the wide eyed, shocked Apocalypse, and swung with all her might.

The second she did, the city shook, and a deep *KRAKOOOOOOOM* sounded out, as the place where she had swung her fist, was completely and utterly obliterated. All buildings in that general area gone as if they didn't exist, the clouds above parted, and the area clean of any sign of human life.

Except for Apocalypse, as his upper half was completely gone, a massive gaping hole in his figure. Without giving him so much as a moment to react, her hand snapped out, as she ripped the Death Seed from him, magic pouring as she "Gripped" it, and watched as its purple light formed, only to be teleported off a second later.

"W-Who?" Apocalypse muttered, struggling to stand as his body attempted to fix itself, while Gwen smiled.

"Just a traveling hero, that's all. You had something I wanted, so I've taken the liberty of taking it, oh, and destroying your little Empire of course" Gwen said with a smile, as a dark aura began to emerge from her figure.

"I'd say I'm sorry, but after seeing all the horrid things you done to innocent men, women, and children, I'd by lying" Gwen said coldly, not even feeling the least bit sorry, as her aura began to surround the man, and before he could even afford to fight back, he was consumed, his knowledge and power assimilated into her form within a singular moment.

Glancing around the silent area, Gwen sighed, and decided to get the other thing she was here for. Or...someone she was here for. One of the most powerful mutants alive was on this Earth, and she needed to take him from here, otherwise he would suffer...a lot. That, and she really didn't want anyone else to take advantage of his power, as it would be dangerous if he was to get controlled by another.

Had she been a bit more evil, she would have just consumed him, taking his immense power and potential for herself. Sadly she had morals, and wouldn't do such a thing, even if he was fullgrown.

With Apocalypse dead in the ground, and the mutants around the world being saved at a rapid pace, Gwen took off in a burst of speed once more, ready to find Nate Grey, one thought on her mind as she did so.

'...That was easy'

Honestly struggled a decent bit with this Chapter, as my knowledge on Age of Apocalypse is slim, and I also doubt anyone but Apocalypse would give Gwen much of a challenge, and even then, she is far too smart to let him properly attack her. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
